I received a loan for a vehicle from Santander Consumer USA back in July of 2019
Fast forward to August 30, 2023 My mom is dying due to heart failure and kidney failure.
I have called and begged for assistance. Extension, deferment, anything to help with my account. The answer! No.
On August 30, 2023 I had just gotten home with my mother from taking her to her heart Dr to discuss open heart surgery options.
No certified letter sent, notice to cure, or email.
They stated that they sent certified letter.

Repossed vehicle. I called to see if my loan could be reinstated. The answer No I was advised I had to pay full note on car. They are planning to sell at auction.
They are stating because this is the 3rd repossession that they will not work with me.
Previous to the repossession I had called multiple times asking for assistance to help me with my loan account. No assistance offered.
My mom is dying currently admitted in the hospital and know was just confirmed covid positive.
They have refused to assist me with any assistance! They are now partly responsible for the health my mother is in due to not being able to get her to life saving appo intents and procedures. Know I have no vehicle and I am not able to see my mother who is in critical condition. There are documented records indicating my hardship with my mother and asking g for any assistance. No empathy whatsoever. This could have been avoided.
They still will not help. I have called them everyday and they are not going to work with me.
Desired outcome: Need assistance to help reinstate loan
