Incorrect Property Boundary Line
Hello, I have come to resort to sending this complaint. The issue involves SPServicing not cooperating in correcting my property boundary line information on file. A "Partial Release" of property took place in 2003. Yet for some reason, SPServicing does not have the updated property line that was filed with County Clerk's office in 2005. All pertinent information has been sent to the Ombudsman Office to no avail. You get different representatives with their own version to the issue at hand. This has caused delays with the neighbor involved with her closing. SPS has been provided with all the information needing to prove the transaction took place 21 years ago. They have initiated matter as if it was being done at present. I need a immediate resolution to this and the correction of property line. This has been going on for 2 months to no avail. Customer Service
I have been trying for over a year to get the correct address on my account and as of today it is still not done. I moved my double wide 13 YEARS ago and have had the correct address up until SPServicing took this over. I have provided tax documents as requested and today when I look at the address it has an address on it that does not even exist. Now I am being charged for insurance because they say my address is incorrect.

Some of the letters they sent were extremely confusing some of the staff were rude when I asked if I could get an email statement and a paper statement the way the person said No was rude I asked for both to keep up better because I don't always check my emails I couldn't find an email address to get a hold of anyone not everyone likes talking on a phone an email is sometimes easier to top it off sent some partial payments the weird thing is is if they weren't accepting the payments where did the money go never got it back ?

I have paid my account 1 year in advance and still continue to receive collection calls on a regular basis. I have spoken to several different Representatives, Supervisors and Managers with no help. My account is now about to show up on my Credit Reports as past due when I don't have a payment due for a year. I never had issues with this in the past when Rushmore Mortgage Company was managing my account and now it seems like this issue cannot be resolved.
Desired outcome: I would like to receive a call back from someone who can fix this issue. I sent in over $38,000 and now yall are calling for more money and can’t seem to apply the funds correctly.
Improper escrow charges...
I have been making extra payments along with my monthly mortgage payment to SPS, Inc., for two to three years, $60 to be exact. Within that time frame I spoke with an agent or account manager and requested that the $60 dollars go towards my escrow account balance. I received a letter from said provider of the loan that explains that my escrow was short and my next month payment will increase.
What happened to my extra funds? They have not been properly appropriated and SPS, Inc., hasn't contacted me to inform me about the funds that should have been allocated to the escrow account. This appears malicious, discriminatory, willful and intentional.
They did not inform me which is highly aggravating during these times and not knowing is insulting. Their website page doesn't have an itemized tab to use.
Desired outcome: Cancel and remove the escrow and apply the amount in the unapplied account to the escrow account.
Holding insurance money
SPS is sitting on $50k of our insurance money from Hurricane Ian. We have more insurance checks made out to them and us but refuse to send it to them because they won't release our money to pay our contractors. Our siders walked off the job, roofers need the remainder of their money, we need to reimburse ourselves for materials purchased and invoices we have paid. Our insurance company has been amazing which is what we pay them for and yet our mortgage company won't allow us to use the money for what it is intended for. We have never been late on a payment. We WANT to fix our home. They said we needed an inspection.. they sent an in inspector, which in turn they were supposed to release more funds.. we have seen nothing since March and have called 8 times between my husband and I each time there is some excuse and they say it will be sent out and then another week goes by and nothing is updated on the site they say to check so we call again and round and round... This is absolutely absurd, we will now need to take legal action. Sounds like this company has quite the wrap sheet on mis-handling money.
Desired outcome: Release our insurance money so we can pay our contractors and pay our line of credit and credit cards back for the money we had to pay out of pocket.
The online service
Every time I get ready to make my online payment the apps states that I am locked out. How can I be locked out of my account every month, and it take several days to get back in. When I am locked out from making my payment, this is a real problem due to the account accessing a late charge. This is by far one of the worst mortgage companies I have ever had dealing with! Some one needs to regulate this company as I have been with them over 3 years and my balance never goes down.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate an email response from this company returning any and all late changes as I have no control over their online app not working.
Locked account
I have tried to check my account information on Wednesday, as I get paid this week and was going to make a payment. But the app says I've been locked out, and to try calling the customer service line. But when I do call, all I get is an automated message system that repeats that it cannot find my account. No matter if I put in my number or my mother's, it says they cannot find my account. I know that I haven't paid this month's bill yet, but as I've said I get paid this week and was going to make a payment. I emailed the account available for the app, with no response. This is getting worrisome, and I already have enough to deal with that I am scared to lose my home when I really try to pay the bill, but can't reach a human being.

Mortgage
I would like to know why I received a letter from your company releasing the mortgage I have no idea what it means if someone else is taking this over or what all it says is that they are releasing the loan and there may be a foreclosure action what is going on. I never received such a letter before I pay my mortgage every month. This is utterly ridiculous. The account number is not mine either the property is but the account does not end in 9145 what is going on. I need to find out I have already mailed this months payment so what is going on.
Mortgage fraud
Purchased my home 20 years ago. When the loan balance was just under 20k BofA sold it to SPS about 2 1/2 years ago. Never had ANY issues with BofA. Received a letter mid May saying that my "loan maturity date was April 5th and a final payment of $4700 was due or they would send it to an attorney for foreclosure. $4781.27 is about 3X more than my reg payment. I went ahead and sent them the money as they required and gave myself a pat on the back that the home is paid off... I shouldn't have celebrated so soon! I kept logging onto the SPS site and it never posted to the acct. After calling them every day for a week...they kept saying. "Sir, we received the funds and its processing to the acct". ONE day before the "loan maturity date" a manager finally got on the phone and said they are not going to process the payment because it was less than the balance. I have the letter from them with the amount owned to the penny and that is EXACTLY what I sent them. He said it was short and the amount owed was $14,800. I asked him for an explanation, and he said it was due to the escrow acct. My taxes are about $7800 a year...I explained to him that their system is adding in the taxes for the current year and WHY would I send them that money if they are paid off and have no vested interest in my property. He agreed and said..."yes let me look into this and get it fixed. Come to find out a week later that it was due to a negative escrow balance from last year. (AGAIN, this was a week later of calling every day before I got a straight answer from them.) Hey, if I owe it...I will pay it. THEN, I requested an EXACT payoff quote AGAIN and it went from 4k to 14K... THEN TO $16,900! When I requested a breakdown they said the acct has already been sent to the attorney's office for forecloser and that is the attorney fees that MUST be paid. ALL this transpired in a 3 week period.
TO SUM IT UP...This company is a predorty lender and its STAIGHT UP lender fraud...My home is valued at over 1.5 M. They buy paper (loans) that are very close to being paid off...and hold your house hostage that you have almost paid off, give you a bunch of BS charges..THE ARE BAD BAD PEOPLE!
Shady business practices
They are one of the worst mortgage company around they had me on relationshipforclosure when I became disabled and was fighting with Social Security for my disability after finally getting approved for my Social Security Disability, I contacted SPS for my payment totals in order to have my payments stay the same since I'm disabled and need to be on budget to make it with my Special Needs Sons after losing my wife. I was given the amount to bring everything current. And According to Benita Tandy my relationship specialist that what I was given. But not the case according to them after I paid my Back Payments everything would be in Good standings but not the case Esscrow was Short according to them so my Payment went up after paying 47k back however there Escorw Anyliasis was done in 04-2022 and my forcloures was in Aug 2022 which I prevented by paying outstanding balances. Now we are in May of 2023 and yet again they are stating my Esccorw is Short eventhough I been paying and my taxes have gone down. So Tell Me how your payment goes up whenever your taxes go DOWN... They Are So Full of YOU Know What... Looking for NEW HONEST MORTGAGE COMPANY IF THERE ARE ANY

Foreclosure case
Hi there. My name is Clint Dunn. I went through some hard times due to losing my job of over 30 years due to covid. I am finally back on my feet with my own business. Obviously I fell behind on my mortgage.
I gave SPS $8100 in early February. I wanted to let them know that I was trying to start the process of making my account better. After accepting the check, instead of working with me they slapted me with foreclosure.
I do not want to lose my house and I have told them they I would like a repayment plan but they turned me down. I have a good amount of equity in my house and I do not think that they are being fair.

cheque never received
Recently my payment was increased by 1100/month and I was told that you have negative 9000 in escrow. However, they were charging more than my payment after many calls I was told that a cheque for 18,100 was issued to me in June 2022 but I was never told that I will receive a cheque and I never received it. Now my payments have been increased and no one is able to answer the question about my cheque or whether it was cashed by someone. I am calling them again and again but no one is able to help me. I have been under so much stress because of their lack of communication. Kindly someone from SPS contacts me and tell me about my cheque.
Mortgage reinstatement
My mortgage ([protected]) fell into foreclosure while I attempted to obtain a loan modification from SPS. Although I have many complaints about how this was handled, lack of updates, and complete untruths, this is not the most pressing issue I have with them. I was made aware on 2/7/23 that my home had an auction date of 2/8/23. I contacted sps to get a reinstatement amount. I spoke with 3 employees (Adean, Deondrious, Aaron) to confirm that I could send a 1/3 payment on three consecutive days-and not have first payments declined due to not payment in full- due to a bank transaction limit of 25000.00/day. I also confirmed with them that it was acceptable that the last installment would arrive 1 day after sale date. I also confirmed with their attorney handling the sale (Manley, Deas, Kucholski, LLC) that there was plenty of time after the sale date, for SPS to instruct them to vacate the sale. I called SPS to report the first 2 confirmation numbers and was told that the payments would not be accepted since sale date arrived. Many employees later, I finally was able to speak with a supervisor (Lamar id#52569). He said to send 3rd payment and that he would escalate and get handled. All 3 payments were refused. I then received a letter from SPS date 2/16/23 with the amount needed by 3/2/23 for reinstatement. I wire transferred the full amount and confirmed receipt with SPS emp Marylou ID#52714. I called to check status of reinstatement and am told the house is sold (although I confirmed with their attorney that it is not confirmed) I asked where my wire transfer funds are and am told they were returned. I do not have them, nor are they pending with my bank. I call SPS several more times to check status and am told something different each time. I am now told that they do not see my wire transfer. However, my account is now showing a $19638.40 payment toward principle and $19873.32 payment towards interest in YTD 2023. Noone has been able to tell me what that is or where my money is. They keep referencing a letter dated 3/9/23 which states there was a refund, but that letter (2nd paragraph) is in response to my first attempt at paying the reinstatement amount. It does not address the payment sent on 3/2/23.
Desired outcome: I want SPS to act with integrity. Apply my 3/2/23 wire transfer $62502.94 to my account and reinstate my mortgage. I want documentation of where my $62502.94 has been applied and that my mortgage is reinstated.
Your services
You guys purchased my mortgage from another company. In August 2022, I have had the same insurance since 2004 when purchasing the property. I have never missed a payment because it was always escrowed. The policy ended in September, but you idiots didn’t make the payment in time. Forcing a laps in the policy by the time this gets resolved it’s December 2022. The insurance company has to start a new policy. So now you want me to pay for the 2 month (October and November ) while you still have the extra payment in escrow. And now you want charge me a higher premium from your so called insurance. In reality no insurance company back dates a policy more than a month. But have the magic policy that does …. Your process of buying mortgages is slow and unprofessional. You have the funds for the 2 months in escrow. No claims were made for those 2 months. But anyway to screw your clients your are up for it.
Desired outcome: Have your employees use common sense and see your process is too slow and the clients are paying for it. Don’t ask for insurance for months past especially when no claimed were made and yuh didn’t pay it.
I probably sound like everyone else but about a year ago SPS bought my mortgage from another company and it's been nothing but passive harassment since. It started off with the insurance and how I didn't have it. I as well as others have had the home insured for twenty years and never missed a payment on the Morgage or insurance. So, now about a year later out of the blue my current insurance won't be accepted because there is an issue with the address on the insurance policy and my mailing address. The address are not the same. I explained the address on the insurance policy is correct and has been for years (8) and was when they purchased the loan. No amount of explanation, begging and pleading for some common sense to the situation would help nobody cared. So, they were going to take out insurance on my behalf for the home at an address that the home is not at. I have the home insured and the right address is on the policy seems simple right! Nope. I had to get an E911 address verification which took me over two weeks to get. Long story I had enough and requested a payoff and had my bank wire 10,000 yesterday to pay off the note and be done with the headaches. Well they don't show they received the money. My bank says they did. It's like dealing with the MOB it never ends.
I have been trying to get a deferred mortgage modification payment due to hardship such as divorce, covis-19, and unemployment. To my hardship
I have been reviewed ever since April 2020 and are still in review 7 months later with continually adding late fee and raising of interest rates. I have a check @ the Cumberland County Courthouse that's have been waiting on release. I have been trying to get my home in my name since it is not on the loan, but it is on the deed. This happened because my husband moved out in 2019 with 4 (four) rooms of furniture, hasn't lived there, paid any mortgage nor told us where to pay the bill. I have already sent them evidence of this information. I also have completed all application that they have asked for me to send for months. And been under the doctor care so I did ask she said go and now they are saying first I do not qualify for assistance because my husband did it BK before he died that was never told to me all the times I’ve been calling in to apply for this they never said I did not qualify they told me I did qualify just like the girl told me I qualify for the Kovic health now they’re asking me to repay payments in the amount that I am not able to pay I was only paying what I could pay but I owe every month even with the payments going up and they did put a note complaint about the young lady and said they were going to do something about it but what are they going to do they should be putting those payments on the back of the account because I did not want to even do that and they said they were going to take care of her but what are they going to do for me and I was total many time that the BK does not have anything to do with me getting the home in my name everywhere I call for help tells me I must have my name on the home for them to help me someone was going to help me do a reverse mortgage plan and they wer waiting for the home yo go in my name their are many notes on my account even from chase bank telling me I did not Qualify to do the Covid health program because my name is not on the loan even a supervisor at SPS told me I couldn’t I did not qualify even though Chase told me I did it first because my name is not on the loan now they’re telling me something entirely different and I’m under a lot of pressure and blood pressure is going up daily now please can you help me please call me
