Sr. Veterans Council was very helpful in getting my father the benefits he needed
Sr. Veterans Council was very helpful in getting my father the benefits he needed. The paperwork was complicated and endless, but they knew the process inside and out and did a great job. They took the stress out of the process for my family. Thank you SVC!

Not only did the Senior Veterans Council assist me with filing for my 92 year old Father-in-law's WW II Aid and Attendance Benefit but now they are assisting me with filing for the prior years benefits as well. This is truly a firm that believes in providing assistance to the veteran for life!
I am so surprise that this organization has such wonderful reviews. I dealt with them for almost two years and got NOWHERE, other than handing over $1700 for the fee. I was promised for that amount of money they would submit all paperwork and handle all issues. I would have been better off throwing my money out the window. Calls were rarely returned. When I did reach a person, I was handed off to several different people who needed the explanation of my father's situation yet again. One woman, who was handling my father's case, seemed to go MIA for several weeks. When I spoke with her husband, who works with this outfit too, he told me she was in Washington, D.C. lobbying for something or other. He was very endearing, understanding and empathetic to my concerns, only to drop me like a hot potato soon after the conversation ended. Another woman went off to Europe and left me stranded for several weeks. At any rate, I was assured at the beginning of this process that my father would receive some sort of benefits to help pay for his long-term care at an assisted living facility. He served in the military, he was due something. When the VA questioned anything, I tried to respond in a timely manner, only to have my emails go unnoticed. Since calls were not answered, emails were not returned, it was so discouraging that I had to finally give up on them so I could focus on my father. He died penniless in January. I wrote to them a week later, explaining that my father passed away...nothing. I have never been so discouraged by an organization or the lack of humanity that is employed by it. Horrible service provided by horrible people, in my eyes. Please do your research! I am forced to leave a star in order to post. I'm sorry there is not a negative star option.
Senior Veterans Council was a God Send for my Parents. They were assisted by and guided by the Senior Veterans Council personnel in 2018 to qualify for VA Aid and Assistance to help meet their day-to-day needs. Our father, a WW II veteran, at the time Senior Veterans Council came along, was 93 years old and our mother was 92. Without the help of the Senior Veterans Council they may have never completed all the logistical steps to qualify VA Aid and Assistance.
And now that our father has passed away the Senior Veterans Council is working with our mother to help her qualify for Spouse Aid and Assistance.
Our family highly recommends the Senior Veterans Council for helping Veterans and their Spouse.
The Senior Veterans Council has been such a great blessing to us. Without them we could not have negotiated all the complexities of applying for the VA aid and assistance benefits from my father's military service for my widowed 100 year old mother back in 2018. They continued to be a great resource for us as situations changed and we needed council or letters from the VA came suggesting that she would loose her benefit. They assisted us to the end when she passed in July and were so pleasant and competent, always there when needed.
The Senior Veterans Council has been a blessing for my family. Without them we definitely would of had a very hard time getting my father and mother their benefits. They are always just a phone call away and very helpful. Would highly recommend.
Working with the Senior Veterans Council has been great
Working with the Senior Veterans Council has been great. They have been instrumental in getting my father's benefits that he needed to help in his later years. The team and his staff have been there and done the work I could have never done and accomplished what I couldn't do. Thanks to them most of all my worries are over...
The Senior Veterans Council absolutely made it possible for my mother to receive the Aid and Attendance Benefit from My Father's military service. My Mother was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia, it was through her Memory Care physician that I learned of *** and ***'s organization. I was given all the correct advice and steps required for obtaining the VA Benefit. They are continuing to be a much needed (huge) help and resource for me and Mom's care!
This service is highly recommended! Truly worth the cost. Saves you time and headaches! They have the knowledge to get your veteran the benefits they deserve! Thoughtful, caring team. Thank you all!
When I first considered having my father apply for the VA's Aid and Attendance benefits, I didn't think he would qualify. He simply had too many complicating factors in his application. But *** and his Senior Veterans Council team gave me hope. They helped me wade through all of the details and found a path to securing a fully qualified application. The SVC team was there every step of the way.
And if that weren't enough to be grateful for, I found myself needing further counseling months after the benefits were approved to address changes in my father's condition. *** was there for the follow-up as an ongoing extension of the program's benefits.
If you are a veteran in need of a caregiver, or are providing care for a veteran, I encourage you to reach out to the Senior Veterans Council. You'll be glad you did!
Our Aunt *** recently passed away. She was 105 years & 8 months old! It was almost 5 years ago that we had Aunt *** retain Senior Veterans Council services for applying for her VA benefits. They made a very cumbersome process extremely easy - it was the best investment we could ever have suggested to our aunt. Because of SRC, Aunt ***' (as well as my wife, as caretaker) quality of life was much, much better than would have ever been possible otherwise.
The dedicated staff and team at Senior Veterans Council performed their duties as represented and achieved the results
The dedicated staff and team at Senior Veterans Council performed their duties as represented and achieved the results as expected during a difficult period of time.
What they do to assist our Veterans and families is a tedious and time-consuming process that likely eliminates many applicants that can't deal with the hurdles and multiple levels of submissions that inhabit our government agencies.
They did all the heavy lifting and made the process go very smoothly
The senior veterans council has been a TREMENDOUS help! Their understanding and advice about veterans benefits really helped my widowed mom financially in her senior years. Then, when my mom (97) peacefully passed, they guided me as I had many questions. Their knowledge and prompt responses tied with compassionate understanding have really eased the burden of settling her estate. I HIGHLY recommend you use their services
I especially want to thank *** with his team. They are wonderful
Senior veterans council has been a true blessing to our family. When my grandmother a widow fell ill to early dementia stages and needed care beyond our control, they not only helped researching the best placement options available for her care but also helped us prepare for the financial burden that followed. ***, *** and *** were always available to help us understand the benefits available to her care as well as preparing all the paperwork to apply for the Aide and Attendance program. I can honestly say that without their help I would still be trying to understand just how it all works.
great people to work with. Very knowledgeable folks

Money well spent
Money well spent. I would still be trying to figure out the VA red tape instead of being approved. The Senior Veterans Council, John, Jane, and Sarah made me feel I was their only client. While I had to find all the records needed, they were able to put them together and get the best benefit for my mother. Plus, I didn't even know this benefit was available from the VA. While they couldn't shorten waiting periods with the VA, they were able to direct me to what I needed to do for the next step while I waited. Hats off to all the team, I couldn't have done it with out them.

I could not be more happy with the professionalism, empathy and willingness to help of this organization. They guided me through all the steps, which information I needed to gather, suggestions for where I might find the information required. I only spoke with a representative a couple of times as the email route worked great for me. My questions were always answered within 48 hours. I have nothing but good things to say for this organization. I began working with them in February and within a few months my mom was receiving benefits, which are much-appreciated by the whole family. Thank you, Sr. Veterans Council. I know you will be here whenever I need you.

The VA Aid and Attendance benefit for my brother seemed a bit evasive until we got Senior Veterans Council(SVC) involved. Although time consuming (almost 7 months) the amount of administrative hassle (file and intent to file a claim) can be very discouraging but SVC assisted in shepherding us through all of the appropriate forms, paperwork, request for additional information and submitting the correct forms. Many thanks to the entire staff for their professionalism, timeliness and thorough completion of work product. Would highly recommend their services since it is easy to give up and they stay on top of it and my brother got the benefits he had earned as a war veteran. Thanks

Do NOT pay this company's $3,500 fee
Do NOT pay this company's $3,500 fee. They will tell you everything you want to hear, only to shuffle paperwork for months with no results. My dad was told it would be no problem getting my mom qualified for Medicaid benefits to cover her care in a memory care unit. After over six months, my mother passed away and we got nowhere with this organization after providing stacks of paperwork. Getting in touch with them was very difficult. When you did finally reach an actual person, you were shuffled off to someone who knew nothing about your file and promised a call back. Most of the time that never happened. Communicating by email is futile. They acknowledge receipt of the email immediately with this text: IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED A DIRECT RESPONSE TO YOUR EMAIL INQUIRY WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS (i.e., not including Saturday, Sunday & Holidays) - please call the office, press 0 to speak to a team member and kindly ask them to either (A) schedule a call on my calendar or (B) send me an internal message to escalate your issue. Needless to say, we got nowhere with Medicaid. They did finally get VA benefits submitted and approved, which I appreciate... but due to the length of time it took, we got back just enough to pay for their services before my mom passed away. Especially frustrating is the fact that when my mom went into hospice care, we found out they offer all of the same services as the Veterans Council free of charge. Do your research before you waste your money.
