Unpaid TV License
HI I Received a letter of demand from debt collection agency Shapiro Shaik Defries claiming I have not paid my outstanding TV license and they are going to hand me over. So like any normal person would is ask for the relevant TAX invoice so I can make the payment. I was simply informed they can only provide a statement and if I don't pay I will be handed over and black listed.
I don't have a problem with company's using debt collection agency's but I don't think my request was unreasonable. I would have thought that is would be standard practise for a company in South Africa to provide you with a invoice of some sorts on which you can pay? Please could you assist a way forward as neither the collection agency or the SABC wants to give me the invoice.

I paid my home choice account is full but still struggling to get Paid up letter from you.
I have fully paid my totalsports account but it is a struggle to be issued with a Paid Up letter. I've been sent from pillar to post.
I paid up Foschini Account with you guys last year June 2022 but to my surprise Foschini called and said my account has been forwarded to DMC and when l called and ask them they said l need a paid up letter from you guys l did n the lady who was assisting me was not helpful so when are you going to sort out my account l can't pay twice

Hi my name is Zama, i once received a calk form one of your agents in 2017 and i never agreed to anything, i only asked them to call me back because i was buisy. Now since then for the past 12 months on my credit check SSDA appears on my records and i dont know them.
They have blacklisted me i dont even know them nor do i have an agrement with them am totaly lost; i mean wht the hell i dont know you and you have not contacted me with what ever i need you to remove my name from you
I am phoned for debt on a Credit Card owing to ABSA. The account was closed in 2010. And paid off. SSA Cannot provide proof of documents, amounts paid and outstanding or anything.
I phoned SSDA to request for paid up letter, I'm told that i should wait for 21days before i get it. Seems like you guys are failing us. After paying I was not told about this 21 days. I'm stuck now. This is not acceptable

i have been trying to contact you on the numbers listed on your website to no avail and when i also send emails to your general email your consultants take many days to respond and they get very rude not trying to assist with the problems. Kindly update your contact details and train your staff members to have good interpersonal skills
