Harassing Non-Stop but then willing to take my tax return
These people keep calling me harassing me non-stop saying that I was in an accident in a vehicle that I've never owned never known anybody to own and want to say that they have a judgment against me this that and the third and I do not appreciate it it's been harassing Non-Stop and really it needs to stop or will be following through with legal action against you guys for harassing me non stop stressing me out when I'm pregnant with baseless claims of nonsense never even been in an accident knock on wood
Desired outcome: Leave me alone or present some type of facts or evidence not just oh let me get your tax return and we'll call it even
Excessive Fees
I was contacted by this group to recover Liberty Mutual coverage of a theft out of my car in August 2022. (Someone stole rental equipment from my car.) The original balance was $1600. They added an additional $500 to the amount because I could pay the balance. On top of this, they charge a 20% fee to make a payment via debit card. (I do not want to provide bank routing information.) Charging money to pay them should be illegal, and isn't this is the type of usury people go to hell for? I am contacting my elected representatives here in Oregon to report this company. Plus, I will never do business with Liberty Mutual Insurance since they utilize unscrupulous companies like this.
Desired outcome: Stop adding more to the balance if people can't pay the full amount up front. Stop charging people money to pay them money.

subrogation/debt collection
As a result of a crash on 4/30/2016, for which I accept responsibility, Wilber Group contacted me on 10/4/2016 on behalf of the other party's insurer. From the very first interaction I had with representatives from this company, they engaged in underhanded and aggressive tactics. The most egregious of these actions were the representatives' repeated threat to report me to the State of Illinois for driving without insurance, which they said would result in a lost or suspended license or very stiff penalties and insurance surcharges, unless I immediately paid a quite large and unsubstantiated amount to them. The claim that was I was uninsured as of the time of the accident was demonstrably false. I was insured both personally and through the rental company from which I rented the vehicle involved in the accident. Beyond that, they were threatening to report me for involvement in an accident that was never even included in my driver abstract. I can only believe that these outlandish and false claims were intentionally made under false pretenses in the hope of pressuring me into making a payment for which I was not ultimately responsible.
Wilber & Associates, P.C. tried to get me to pay for a accident that I was not involved in
My son was involved in a accident I received claim from them for $15 311.57 they were rude and demand that I pay them. The car was driven without my permission.
Janet
these people are devils and im trying to hire a team of lawyers to take them DOWN!
payments/ and they are super rude!!!
An unathorized user crashed my car and hit 2 other vechiles, as the car was not insured at the time the other drivers insurance pursued for damages, understandable. After months this companies rude employee started harassing and calling and damanded payments without sending us any sort of report or proof. Then after sending a harassing paymnet they wanted to suspend my license and I still could not obtain a report! After calling multiple times, each time the person is SUPER RUDE and short, they DO NOT answer your questions! 0 stars
About 5 months ago I got into a car accident without insurance and I was at fault wilber
associates got ahold of me claiming I must pay them 13k dollars I was about to begin my first payment but seeing the reviews on this website I do not think I should any thoughts on that please comment
they are lying and saying that I owe someone over $18.000
These people are such scam artists. They called me on my cell phone on March 21, 2019 and left me a message to call another number. The phone number they gave me 800-313-5169. When you dial it now it says that it can't be reached. My condo caught on Fire in December of 2018. They telling me that I am being blamed for the fire. They told me that the fire report says that my Channukah menorah caused the fire. This is not true at all. I called the fire marshal in North Brunswick, and the person who called me back today said the cause of the fire is undermined. I called an attorney near where I am staying at a hotel, but did not give them any information where I am staying. They also lied and said that Still Water Insurance Company paid these said people $18, 000.23. I decided to google them and found out that they scam people into giving them information. I also called the East Brunswick police department, and was advised not to give them any information. They had me up all night last night crying my eyes out. I have attached a copy of the fire for you too look at. They need to be in jail.
getting my licence suspended
My daughter was in a accident that was not her fault that totaled my car and injured her I am struck driver and had accidentally let my insurance laps so I paid the fine then the a hole used me for damages to his car 1031.62 they send a letter my licence is to be suspended even though I was in Missouri because the car was registered 2my name so I call to set up payments get a sr22 pat the state of Kansas fine for no insurance but then they don't send proper paper work to sign and I get it sign and notarize it state won't take without them signing it I send it by fax and fed ex call to have them fax or email to state they refuse to do so which means paper work won't be back in time to save my licence
scam using public records to scare people!!!
I just got a call from wilbur & associates 1-800-313-5169 claiming it was urgent regarding my car accident! Indeed a year ago I was in a very minor accident which went through insurance as the other party thought she had to file. Very minor, settled for under $1000 through allstate and case closed. These people must look up public records and then just call until they find a scared person to send money! How awful!
I will be reporting to law enforcement as this is certainly against the law! Shame on these people!
I have no idea!
This caller has continuing calling and then hang up several times a week. We did had the phone number blocked as we have no clue who they are, until I looked them up by google. Again, we do not have anything against us and who are they? I believe they are harassing the wrong person or if they got the right person, I will sue them as we do not have a case being against by someone else or someone else filed a false claim against us.
wrongful collection of debt and violation of disputed debt

Claim Date: 08/05/2015
Under the fair debt practices act, I am exercising my right to formally dispute this debt.
This debt has been disputed previously with the involvement of my insurance USAA. Both USAA and Payless Rental Car determined the case to be closed on Sept 3, 2015.
On the evening of 08/05/2015 – I flew from Albuquerque NM to Omaha NE in the evening and was mentally preparing for a 3 hour drive to get to my mom who was very ill. I arrived in time to be checked in by the Payless representative inside the Omaha Airport. He provided me keys and I proceeded to the rental area. At seeing the car and the damage on the car, I marked the areas of damage on the rental agreement, took pictures with my phone and took the form back into the Payless counter. The representative acknowledged the markings on the agreement. I requested if there was another car and he indicated there wasn’t. I engaged in a conversation with him because I was concerned with the outside being so damaged what was the engine and overall quality of the car. He asked if I wanted to rent the vehicle or not. Since I prepaid for the rental, I had to stay with Payless. He agreed that the vehicle was damaged and did not question the markings on the document. He provided me a copy of the agreement that he signed acknowledging the damages before I left the rental parking lot.
My mom’s illness caused me to have to extend my rental. I called Payless and requested to extend the rental; they agreed but would not honor the rate I originally rented at through my Southwest airlines affiliation. The rate was much higher and I disputed that rate due to the poor quality of the car. So during that conversation with Payless, it was clearly communicated that I was displeased with the vehicle and the damages. I stated the vehicle they rented me was damaged and not in good quality and was not worth the rate they were demanding I pay for the extension. Again, I couldn’t do anything because I was 3 hours from Omaha and my mom was sick so I had no choice and had to pay the price defined by Payless for the extension.
When I turned in the rental on 08/12/2015, again the representative acknowledged the form with the markings of the damage that was present when I rented the vehicle on 08/05/2015. There was NO additional damage to that vehicle while I rented it from 08/05 to 08/12/2015. Payless representative did not indicate any issues when I checked in the car so another indication there was no issue.
After discussing the situation with my spouse and the expense I incurred for such a damaged and poor quality of a car, we decided to call our insurance and report the situation. USAA understood the situation and opened a claim. I provided them details of the rental documents and the numerous conversations with Payless about the damages on the vehicle prior to my leaving the rental car parking lot on 08/05/2015.
USAA conducted their own investigation and determined that Payless representatives acknowledged the damages and the documents proved that the damage was on the car prior to my driving the car and they closed the claim on 09/3/2015.
At this time – October 2017, upon receipt of the letter from Wilber & Associates I was shocked that this matter has come up again. Payless Car Rental incorrectly placed this debt with your attorney collection office. This was closed in Sept 2015 after investigation by both Payless Car Rental & USAA.
Under the Fair Debt Practices act which was violated this past week during two discussions with collectors from Wilber, no one would allow me to explain and they did not respect that fact that I was disputing a debt that Wilber is wrongfully trying to collect.
The collector just said that they can’t engage with Payless any longer and he had to collect on this debt.
Since this debt was closed in 2015, I the incorrectly accused debtor am at a great disadvantage. I no longer have the copy of the signed document that shows all the damage markings that was signed by the Payless rep before I left Omaha Airport the night of 08/5/2015. I no longer have the photos of the vehicle that I provided both Payless representatives when I rented on 08/5 and returned on 08/12/2015. USAA also were offered the photos but after their investigation and speaking with Payless and having the documents, they didn’t request copies and just closed the claim.
I dispute this debt –
I am offended at how the Wilber collector just wanted to settle and get my insurance to pay.
This is not fair debt collector practice and it is inappropriate on the part of Payless Car Rental after an insurance claim was opened, investigated and closed to now place a debt for collections two years after the incident. Payless worked directly with my insurance after I opened the claim. If they did not agree with the investigation, they had a responsibility to present it prior to USAA closing the claim.
They won't stop calling me about an accident I was in in September. I got it cleared up with the court and they're STILL calling me and sending me bills I have to pay. I am not paying anything to them and I need them to stop calling my phone number and stop sending me mail and bills. It's ridiculous, says I need to pay $50, 000. ENOUGH
Attorneys / insurance
I returned a phone to ROBERTS and associates since they claimed that My Son was involved in an accident that 6 months ago. She didn't have anything right even down to my name... When I told her that I didn't know what she was talking about she got extremely rude didn't let me speak about anything and then yelled at me that they were going to be moving forward on something that i didn't know anything about.
I verified my email address and requested an email. She refused to send anything.
Absolutely unaccepatble. I still don't know if it's a real law firm or insurance company or a scam

This company's driver was guilty, but he lied the police
I recently had the accident and the second drive just ran from the scene. I called to the police and said everything what has happened, but they said that they would try to find the driver. They contacted me next day and said that the driver showed up and he told completely different story. I was shocked and this driver wanted to get $5, 000 from me for the damage. Liar. Be caution with these people and drivers.

This lady threatened me and lied about the accident
I started to get emails and phone calls from Wilber Associates. The lady stated that my son was responsible for the accident and she assured me that we should pay for the damage. I was upset and contacted my son, who said that he hasn’t had any accidents and it was sort of scam. I was glad, but the phone calls didn’t stop. This lady threatened to send all the papers to the court and said that I would regret that I didn’t want to pay them now. I am afraid of this company.
Wilbur & Associate are claiming my daughter was in a hit and run, my daughter has never been in a accident ever! The car in question was sold a long time ago. When asked to provide a police report and insurance company name they could not do so. The associate's are extremely rude.
Debt Collections
I could almost copy and paste the content from another complaint filed about this company on this very site. We are being asked for $3752 for a claim that we never received any information about prior to their call to my son while at work. They are also threatening that his license will be revoked? By whom? Their claim, as with the other complaint, is that he didn't have insurance on the day of an accident, of which he was not to be found at any fault. He did have insurance in place at the time of the accident but had an expired insurance card in his car. I believe this company is purchasing public information files where they glean info about people and their charges and then try to get money from them. STOP CALLING MY KID!
Violation of Fair Debt Collection Practice Act
I have received daily phone calls from this "company" stating that we owe them $2300 for a vehicle accident that was not our fault. I had the "pleasure" of speaking with Keenan who informed me that we didn't have proof of insurance and that the police report stated that the accident was our fault. I tried telling her that her information was inaccurate and...

I have tried to be in contact with Wilbur and Associates to figure out how I can pay for the damages that I caused last year. However, whenever I call them, I get an answering machine, and no one ever calls back. I would like to get ahold of them so I can get my license back.
