One is better off using other platforms then this one. Opt to use the UTest platform. This platform isn’t even helpful when it comes to payment processing or any issues that you have. They are no help at all. Support wants you to get get in contact with your manager when the manager never responds until 2 weeks later! Would not recommend using this platform. You would be lucky to receive your funds on time.

FAKE APP
Do not fill anything out for this app. They lure you in by showing all kinds of simple jobs around you and then once youve filled out everything, given them your information….nothing. No gigs, jobs and dont even try to do the survey call from home.
I sent a help ticket. But how are they supposed to help if you have to wait for them to get to you? Sit at my computer for 24 or 48 until your time allows to help me?
You can call there is a number but no ONE will EVER pick up phone. Its a phishing app. Font let them fool you.

I agree with the reviewers who are saying it’s a scam, I worked a shift and didn’t get paid until a month later. I filled out countless reports called multiple times and nothing got solved until I wanted to take it to court .
You also talk to the same representative every single time which is weird to me, and when you ask to be transferred or sent to escalations she gets mad at you lol ! This representative was having an attitude with me because I was asking questions about where my money was . Also weird. I don't recommend .

It was great until recently
I’ve been working Shiftsmart for a little over a month or two, at first it was great but now when I go to a circle K at times they say they don’t need me, I don’t ever get reimbursed for wasting gas or time! I think I deserve 50% for getting ready then going there and to only be turned away because I’m thinking I’m gonna get a pay! At least tell circle K managers to cancel shifts if they’re not available so people don’t end up coming all the way over there and being turned away, this is disappointing because I need work until I can get some things straight

They used to be good they payed you on time for the surveys. I’ve been working for them for about 4-5 months never had an issue till recently. Recently I have been do surveys and they have been paying me for it. I thought it was just me but a lot of people I know that have been doing the surveys as well have not been compensated. There not what they used to be anymore. Before we used to send them an email or text and they would respond. Now they don’t respond to anything. It’s been about 3 days since I contacted them about the payment and they still haven’t contacted me.

UNPROFESSIONAL
I am officially quitting shiftsmart and I’m actually one of the best workers to come into the stores. I know this because the managers adore me. Well I went to a store that turned me away. The store didn’t have a code for me either. But when you choose the skip code option. It will not work. I kept telling them this and they kept telling me to do what I already told them I did. Then told me they couldn’t help me. Not to mention you are suppose to get paid for turned away shifts. so I am quitting and will not be referring anyone. I sent about 5 emails and proof. They don’t want to pay people it makes no sense

Edit: I am editing my review to one star. Shiftsmart continued to send me multiple emails for available shifts and there were none in the area. It’s not just a problem that needed to be fixed, it’s a constant problem. I deleted the app, blocked the emails and texts.
I’m not sure how it is working for Shiftsmart because a)there are never any shifts in the area, b) filtering through the shift results is an agonizing experience (please allow us to limit the search area!), c) despite multiple requests to stop the texts, they keep coming. Texting “stop” does nothing. I have completed all the training but it continues to show that I have some to complete.

Would not recommend
I’ve had issues with getting in contact with anyone regarding a “missing” clock out punch which in the end results in me not getting compensated for the hours worked. The app wasn’t accepting the clock out number. I’ve emailed several times and called the contact number provided via email only for it not to be a working number. I enjoyed making my own shift but I refuse to work and not be compensated and to not have any “higher ups” that you can communicate with when there is an issue is just irritating. The job location claims to not know anything about Shiftsmart so I will be reporting this issue anywhere I see the name “Shiftsmart” until this issue is resolved.

I’m stuck
I’m getting super frustrated.
I applied for a political surveyor’s position.
I did my 2 hour training yesterday. The trainer stated that once we finished the zoom. To enter the 4 digit code and to take the survey. Which I did. Multiple times. She said after the onboarding was completed (the survey being the final step) we all could start picking up shifts by 10am this morning. She stated it multiple times.
Which I did. I took the survey. However. The survey still will not show as complete. It still shows I need to do it. It will not let me move forward. I tried emailing support. They had no idea what I was talking about and gave me a generic answer. Is this a scam?

Amazing Side Gig
Great Pay! Great projects, tasks, and jobs. Consistent and easy. Be prepared for 60 text messages EVERY. DAY. E V E R Y D A Y. P L U S 33 push notifications. “Shiftsmart has shifts available!” No freaking way. Honestly they were annoyed me so much that I pretty much stopped working for them and turned off notifications. They’re like a malignant tumor that just won’t stop throbbing. Nothing says desperate more than Shiftsmart.
Also. They’ll promise a $200 referral bonus to refer your friends and family. I am waiting now 4 weeks to receive this “promised bonus “. Every time I reach a customer service representative, the conversation stops and then ignore me and will not answer any questions about my $200 referral bonus.
If you like wasting your time and not getting fulfilled promises I recommend Shiftsmart.

Shiftsmart is a scam poorly run
Always crashing freezing when it comes time to clock in clock out have to keep resetting phone to get updated.Customer service is non existent they just keep sending you the same email over and over.Nothing gets resolved good luck if you have an issue with your pay and they don’t pay you.I personally love using Shiftsmart it’s just the admin customer service is lousy.There phone number is always disconnected no one answers or they are closed.I worked 6 months for them and one day I left early I even told the manager,I’m leaving he put no show when I told him I’m leaving.I was working my second shift and they canceled all my shifts.And kicked me off the platform and gave no explanations.Some of these stores deserve to be short staffed and overworked cause they treat there people like garbage and don’t appreciate.

Not excited about doing this again
I have left messages in several areas of the app with no results, so I’m trying again , here. I was only able to deposit around $48 instead of $52. I’m not happy about how the whole shift went. I had to work an hour extra , had to pay the max amount of parking fees because I was there so long and I lost out on the $25 bonus I was originally offered because the app stopped working when I was halfway to the location.
I had to find the location and parking area on my memory alone . I got lost which caused me to showed up late. I had to reject a $75 payment when I got there. Gas was very expensive that day, I had a 40 minute commute so I had to fill my tank, another $50 wasted. I paid parking that day as well. I didn’t get parking refunded or an offer for anything else refunded,
I was told to reschedule. The app wouldn’t allow me to do that so a manager booked my next shift for me.
I was told I had to work from 12pm to 2pm but I got stuck working a whole extra hour 12-3pm, with no option of compensation for the extra hour. Then I had to pay the highest parking rate due to the hours I was there and got ripped off when I did my instant deposit. It never went through the first time I paid so I had to try again and pay the fee , again. I couldn’t get anyone to help me right away so I was forced to try again. My messages have all been ignored so far.

I showed up for my shift at the circle k located at 6514 preston highway and was turned away and the manager whose name was callie refused to cooperate with the steps i needed to show i was turned away
