Shipito are thieves and criminal, pure and simple. Avoid them at all cost!

Shipito.com in torrance, california enticed my fiancée into a monthly membership for $25 and then added an assisted purchase service for which she paid separately $8.50 (Plus cost of purchase, sales tax, shipping) and on top of that, they charged 10% commission from the purchase cost, but that wasn't enough... These shipito scamers charged another 5% pretending to be visa fees.

When she had to order more items, they kept charging her card for every item they received. She called and cancelled the membership and even paid for an additional month that she didn't use due to their questionable calculations.

Despite this, she continued to be billed $25 a month because of the credit card information that the shipito scammers got from her membership during registration, which did not cover any assisted purchases. When challenged on these fraudulent charges, the individual introduced as the senior manager explained that the membership was just like buying a car. If you decide to keep it in the garage, you still have to pay for it.

When I explained that according to my own understanding of california and federal law, shipito has a right to claim money they feel they may be owed but do not have the right to abuse credit card information or make charges against an account which the owner of that account has clearly stated they do not authorize. Since my fiancee cancelled by email, and has confirmation of the cancellation and since shipito confirms that the cancellation was due to her stopping the service, they are wrong on two accounts. Firstly, they are charging without authorization citing a membership agreement they have confirmed is closed and secondly as the car analogy is ridiculous since a car is a physical item you own and shipito is claiming that they should still be paid for existing even though there is no way they could ever provide the services they want to charge for.

One of their useless staff ended our conversation saying that given the economy, they couldn't afford to let anybody cancel their membership and so, by the direction of his boss, whom handles these issues.

I tried to contact them by email about this problems several times with no response. When pressed for the details, they kept sending me to their faq page.. Their flustered explanation was to say that the agreement would be in force as long as shipito decided it was in force, an answer I found rather extraordinary.

I told them that I didn't think that the california or federal courts would not be sympathetic to that interpretation, to which they outright scoffed and would continue to charge whatever they thought was a proper fee.

Shipito.com has gone beyond mere predatory contract practices and is engaging in outright criminal activity. Do not trust these people with your credit card information as they have proven that they will take credit card info from one agreement and use it to charge for another one. Further, the only cancellation policy they can clearly define is not even existing.

On a personal note, the most annoying aspect of this is that these people arrogantly show you that they will continue to submit credit card charges for which they know they do not have legal authorization to charge (If by no other means in that they themselves confirmed the original membership cancellation) for services they fully admit they are incapable of providing in any reasonable manner.

Shipito are thieves and criminal, pure and simple. Avoid them at all cost!

I have used them before and they are expensive and their customer service is lousy.
I am now using Shipville and they are fantastic! www.shipville.com

As any normal and literate person can see, 99.99% (we can easily put it on 100% ) of so called complaints are scams, fake complaints of myusheeps, lousy sheepvile fantastic inhabitants etc.
The Thruth is simple as is, Shipito is hands down THE BEST forwarding shipping service for small business, die-hard shoppers or “occasional” shoppers. I'm using Shipito service for many years, and in all this years I've encoutered two let's call it issues, both were solved in the time of one or two emails. Fast, reliable services, and as already said, hand down best prieces.
But fake complaints are not all bad, because we can learn and understand, why the myusheeps, sheepville etc. service are much more expensive — they have to pay their liars, spammers etc.
When You shop, use Your Head, read carefully — Do not let anyone fool you. Don't be fooled by myus, sheepvill's and others sheeps. Just don't.

Really? Then why did they lose BOTH of my shipments for 3 months and never compensated me? I had tp pay TWICE for the items AND their shipping and they never even get back. THIEVES AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

Shipto sounds dreadful! Will definitely steer clear of them - thanks for taking the time to post this complaint. As a more legitimate alternative, I recommend Vaibox. If you want to, you can even avoid using your credit card at all with Viabox, as they're the only freight forwarder that accepts Bit Coins.

Did you ever get your issue resolved with Shipto?

I use viabox personally, its the best service among all. shipito is fraudulent. Viabox has best services with lowest costs and fastest delivery service as orders are processed in 1 day.

I also use Viabox and so far I have not been disappointed. Plus their user-friendly website interface allow you get in touch with customer service in real time.

saya lebiih suka menggunakan Viabox. selain harganya murah, pelayanannya juga cepat. CS akan merespon dalam waktu 1-12 jam dan barang akan diproses dalam waktu 1 hari.

Shipito didn't pass on the information for border checks and never informed me of progress. All I knew was that my package was under way. then I am told the package is coming back to the US.
Now Shipito wants to resend it (cost $1600) and give me 10% off.
It is their mistake throughout but they refuse to assist. how can I even trust they would ship it correctly this time?

Awful customer service but not surprising as I see now - albeit too late - that this company has ripped off so many customers I am just yet another one of their trophy.

I attempted to use Shipito.com as a go between Smile Direct and Canada.
It was a nightmare.

After a month of efforts, including: emailing them photo id, emailing them the proof of shipment (including the tracking number), phone calls and help forms, I ended up not being able to retrieve my package as it was free of charge and I had no purchase receipt. (They actually requested a copy of my bank statement.)
So disappointed in this service - be warned.

I definitely agree.
They are the worst. TWO SHIPMENTS LOST WITH NO REFUND.
Both of my packages were lost, one in Newyork and one in Cairo. Either this entire Shipito thing is a fraud, or this is a failed service. I'm fed up. This cost me too damn long and a lot of money. ALL THEY HAVE TO SAY IS WE ARE SORRY WE ARE FILING A CLAIM. IT'S BEEN MONTHS.

Hi all

I've used shipito for close to 6 years . There system gave me a error and my account was blocked I've message almost every second day to see what the hell is going on I was told to pay usd220 via bid coin or eft to have my account unlocked now they requesting I pay it again witch I have refused, I asked the consultant what happend to the first payment they can not answer me they request coppy of my passport I sent it . I keep being told to wait for the suport tickets to be answered but nothing ever gets done its been 3 months now I'm still waiting .they do not seem interested in assisting.
