Shoppers Drug Mart enfamil gentlease exchange

I recently purchased (June 22/19) the Enfamil Gentlelease baby formula from Shoppers Drug Mary (56ave, Surrey BC) product to give to my son. Upon testing of the first bottle, the taste was different than the other brands and my son would not feed off the formula.

I took the remaining 5 bottles back (June 23/19) to the Shoppers (King George Highway, Surrey BC) to exchange for another type of Enfamil to which I was informed that the Enfamil baby formula was a final sale (never advised) and that I need to contact the manufacturer for a refund although my sale was made through shoppers drug mart.

How is Shoppers unable to accept a 1 day exchange when the purpose is that the product was insatiable for my son? There would be no business loss as the end result is an exchange.

Receipts are saved, looking forward to hearing a response.

Shoppers Drug Mart customer service

Today I went to the Landsdowne/High Street location's postal service. As I was approaching two staff were behind the booth. The more senior staff member said they were closed due to the younger staff members, Meagan wasn't feeling well.
I was told to go to the Mapleridge location. Crazy!
I said that was really inconvenient, so Meagan assisted me.
My complaint is with the more senior staff member. Someone needs to be able to keep the postal service open especially during a Saturday when most people have time to get out and run errands. Telling me to go to the other side of the city because one staff member wasn't feeling well is a poor reflection on your staff's training in customer service!

Shoppers Drug Mart $25 gift card

Bought a $25 gift card from shoppers drug mart and activated it when purchased.
Gave it to my dad for Father's Day and it will not work and and the store says there is no money on it.

Please mail me another one. The store will not even do anything even with the activation slip with it.

So frustrated.

Shoppers Drug Mart clear waterproof bandage

The clear waterproof bandage which is supposedly "Super-stick adhesive" has the worst adhesion of any bandage I have ever used. Unfortunately I didn't keep my bill and therefore cannot return it. But I will never purchase this product again and will definitely be careful not to throw away my bills when buying another life product bandage. I am not impressed.

Shoppers Drug Mart drug labels

The font size currently being used on prescription labels is too small to read. The old labels were just fine. Why change for something that isn't better? I need a magnifying glass to read the Rx #, Refills and store telephone number. This change is not a positive one and needs to be corrected. A client should be able to read these labels in comfort.

I once complained at my shoppers because they were talking loud about my drink of methadone. And I live in a small town and it was embarrassing. So I called and complained. My next day in there for my drink I didnt really taste the methadone, and by 6 hours after I was having withdrawal. I believe they gave me just juice and no methadone. I had a urine...

Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy lack of service at sdm

I was at shoppers drug mart at Kingston road and Sandown in Scarborough this evening. I was there around 6:45pm. I went to pharmacy to fill a prescription. There were three staff behind the counter. All three ignored me and then looked at each other motioning for someone else to serve me. No one did! They definitely saw me waiting.
Unbelievable. If they don't want to serve clients why are they there? I have better things to do then wait for customer service reps at shoppers drug mart to assist me. My husband gets thousands of dollars in prescriptions each month and we will now be moving our business to I did leave and go to rexall where I was assisted within seconds of arriving.

Shoppers Drug Mart unable to return sealed unused products with no expiry date

On Monday June 17, 2019 I went to my local Shoppers in Orangeville (broadway and c-line location). I had 3 packages of orthodontic flossers and 2 packages of GUM brand "tree brushes" that my son required specifically for taking care of his braces. In the past these items are not always in stock so when they are I would buy several packages at a time. My son is now having his braces taken off and so I had some extra packages that won't be used. I did not keep my receipt which I should have, but since it was over 30 days I'm not sure it would have helped anyway. I went in to see if I would be able to return the items (as they are all in the original sealed packages with no expiration exactly like what is currently on the shelves for sale). The first cashier told me 3 times in a row no returns store policy, which I understood the first time, but I also read online that returns after 30 days are up to the manager's discretion. So I asked to speak to the manager Joanne. Joanne was just as unhelpful, and uncaring. She could not have cared less and just repeated same thing over and over. And then told me I could donate them to the local women's shelter.

I understand that I didn't have a receipt but so many stores can look things up or offer a store credit when you don't have a receipt. So I was surprised this is the best Shoppers could do for customer service. From my optimum account it's obvious how much I spend at Shoppers and Zehrs in Orangeville. And it's annoying to feel your business is not appreciated and that a manager doesn't value their customers. I have no use for the items once my son's braces are removed so I left my items there for her to donate. I don't think I was asking for something unreasonable, this customer service was pathetic at best. The resolution I was hoping for was a store credit, i don't think I was asking for something unreasonable.

Shoppers Drug Mart shoppers drug mart pharmacy in waterdown

I submitted my health card (being a senior citizen) and insurance information with the prescription to the young chap. He came back to us saying that I have other insurance and will have to pay for the prescription. He said it would be my responsibility to claim it later. He was in consultation with the pharmacist who was not helpful at all.

I took the same information to Walmart in Waterdown and walked out with the medications within 10 minutes.

Besides wasting my time he made us uncomfortable. I am an PC Card holder and am a frequent customer but this experience of today was indeed disappointing!

Shoppers Drug Mart Cashier manager

June 16, 2019 - 8:10 am
Store - 125 The Queensway, Etobicoke

I went into the store to buy Maxwell House coffee that was on sale. I loaded up cart with 12 cans. Had to wait for someone to come to the cash as I arrived right when they opened.

Staff / cashier was walking up to the cash and from a distance told me "there is a 4 can limit". This surprised me as I have made this same purchase dozens of times in the past. Buy it for the office. I went back to the shelf where the coffee was to check the 'sale' card. I believe all sale items that have a limit are clearly marked on the sale card. No limit was marked. I went back and asked the cashier if she could please double check the limit for me. She immediately told me "I don't need to double check, I'm the cashier manager. There is a limit of 4 on every sale item"

A couple things...

1. Her statement that "all sales items have a limit of 4". Is this correct? If so, why is it not marked on all your 'sale' cards?
2. She had the worst attitude I ever dealt with at a Shoppers

This is my first time ever submitting a complaint to any store. It was such a horrible experience dealing with this cashier that I felt I had no choice.

If her belief on the "4 limit on all sales items" is incorrect, I would like the store manager to explain this to her. If it is correct, this needs to be made clearer to customers so that other shoppers do not experience what I went through this morning.

A response to this would be much appreciated.

Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy service

Terrible service & extremely disrespectful pharmacist at shopper's drugmart in calgary.
With such poor service its easy to see why people resort to online pharmacies so customers don't have to deal with these jerks.
Its taken up to 2 weeks to preapre a prescription refill at this pharmacy located in a large city.
Pharmacists constantly harrass me demanding that I buy my prescriptions in portions so we have have to constantly be returning to get the full prescription.
These very common medications are never available except in small amounts about expire withiin a few weeks of purchase.
This always happens with loose pills that are not in sealed manufacturer's packaging.
I don't know exactly what crekside shopper's drugmart scam.
Always render any unused medictions useless, by crushing, soaking in water etc, before dropping off at a pharmacy for disposal or drugs often get re-sold for 100% profit.
Obviously the profit motive from re-selling returned prescritions will result in this problem occurring.
It appears that Shoppers Drugmart may be re-selling returned medications from the retuning & disposal scam called ENVIRx Program which is described as:

About the ENVIRx Program: Through the ENVIRx Program, pharmacists promote safe and effective drug use while giving Albertans an opportunity to return unused and expired medications to their community pharmacy. Last year through the EVNIRx program, RxA members collected over 100 tonnes of expired drugs.

By bringing in your old mediations to your pharmacy, it presents an opportunity to touch base with your pharmacist and talk about a medication that hasn't worked or a perhaps a situation that has changed. Your pharmacist is available to help you with all your medication questions.

Shoppers Drug Mart service complaint. unable to return item

Service complaint. Wife is in emergency and her iPad was low on power. Went to you store closed to the Barrie, ON hospital because it is Sunday evening an hospital store are closed. The way Apple packages their product it is impossible to inspect or really see the full product. Of course at this time I have a heighten emotional state. I purchase the lock in product for over $40.00. Drive back to emergency and in the parking lot I open the packaging to place the charger cable into my pack. At this time, I now notice the end I expected to be a USB connection is not. Therefore this product is not of any value to me. I return to the store to get my money return and I am informed store policy restricts refunds on opened packages. It's a charging cable and I have returned to the store within 20 minutes of purchasing the item. To add, I am discussing the return with the same person I purchased it from. Now I have a real heart ache for this form of blanket policy. I will look for a common sense store with better values and ethics.

Shoppers Drug Mart carnaby sweet cola bottles

I purchased a bag of Carnaby cola bottle gummies and the first few we ate were fine. I'm at work and I just popped one in my mouth and I had to spit it out the taste was so disgusting. It tasted like I imagine floor cleaner would taste. That was 15 minutes ago now and my tongue is still burning. There is only supposed to be one flavour in this bag correct? If not, what would this awful flavour be. I would like to know who to take this to as I'm concerned about what might be in them. Please contact me at [protected] or at [protected]@rogers.com

Shoppers Drug Mart prescription refill

On Sunday, June 2nd I went into store # 1090, on Northfield Dr, in Waterloo, to refill a perscription.
Rx # 9392703, Tx # [protected]
I said I would swing by later and pick up the prescription.
When I went in on the Monday, June 3rd, to pick up the prescription, I was told that most of it 80/100 pills was on backorder. The rest would not be available until early July. This was despite the fact that I had a 'no partial refill' tab linked to my file. This was as a result of another screw up on your behalf on my last prescription from the same store. In the interim it appears that someone had removed that said label as when I went in, the junior pharmacist couldn't see it.
I am not happy with the service from this store. It is a joke amongst my friends to have to go there and get a prescription filled because 9/10 there is a problem.

Why does this store accept to fill orders when they don't have the product?
What am I supposed to do when my 20 pills run out and I still need more but the backorder isn't in yet?
Why is this kind of thing happening at all?
I am not happy! In fact when I get my prescriptions refilled from my doctor, I will be moving them to another company. This store is totally incompetent.

* At no point had anyone at the pharmacy checked with other stores to see if the balance of my order could be filled.
* At no point had anyone at the pharmacy checked with my doctor to see if a reasonable, in store, drug replacement could be found
* As of tonight I have heard nothing from this store.

**I want Maria Horner, the pharmacist at this store, told of this problem and I want my prescription filled. I do not want a series of endless emails from you. Clearly you hire nothing but incompetent people at certain store locations.
** I want an apology from her, and you, and my prescription filled, and I want it ASAP, nothing else will suffice.

Shoppers Drug Mart disrespectful behavior from worker

This incident happened at 4524 New St
Burlington ON L7L 2Y0
Canada. I went up to an employee who was stocking shelves to ask for help finding an item, this was after I made a purchase at the pharmacy. The employee was very friendly and made conversation while helping me. His manager came up and told him to start doing another task. Once she noticed I was standing next to him and not leaving, she looked at me and asked if I was finished. When I tried to explain that the employee was helping me she just asked me to leave. Unfortunately, I do not know the manager's name since she was not wearing a name tag, but I would describe her a Caucasian female, with grey hair and glasses. This was a very uncomfortable situation. I frequently attend this shoppers location and have never been treated badly. I am very disappointed with the lack of respect that an employee of high position would treat on of the customers at her own store. I expect that this problem should be addressed and that any and every employee should be told that every customer should be treated with curtesy regardless of their race, gender, age, or appearance.

Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy

I get my prescription filled weekly at the King George and 171st store.
Two weeks ago the pharmacist called my home phone and said that the ramipril prescription had expired and they had faxed my cardiologist DR. Dana Lee, also the prescribing doctor who wrote the original prescription and adjusted the dosage three weeks ago who the pharmacist claims hadn't responded to their fax. Next week the pharmacist told me that they had exhausted their emergency supply for me and would cut off any more medication until the cardiologist responded to their fax for a refill. I then went to the pharmacy in question and asked for copies of the fax they sent requesting the refill, they pharmacist told me they threw it out and didn't consider it part of my medical record at that pharmacy. I wanted the fax to ascertain that they had indeed sent it as they stated and wanted to confirm that they sent it to the correct fax number, something that without the fax in question can't be established. Unfortunately I was treated rudely by the pharmacy staff at this particular store, who seemed to be taking great pleasure in annoying me, and snickering openly among themselves. I will be pursuing this issue further with the college of pharmacists of B.C. as well.

Thank You

James Prince
