Shoppers Drug Mart staff member - marda loop, calgary location

Hello,
Went into your store yesterday.
An item I purchased was labelled incorrectly with incorrect pricing.
I enquired, as she ( the customer service Supervisor ), rang up the item as $6.99, labelled on shelf as $4.99.
The staff member was extremely rude. I believe she was named Latoya, she was very annoyed I had asked this, and continued to sass me in front of my children every other point of the transaction.
Not good enough.
I would think a Supervisor should be leading by example, not being so rude when a price marking error had occurred ( not my fault I would add ).
I was disgusted by the customer service, and embarrassed by her manner.

Please address this.
My contact number is [protected]

Regards,
Nicole

Shoppers Drug Mart store setup

I have 3 concerns. 1) Parking at 1111 Davis Drive, Newmarket, ON - the disabled parking is too far from the door. It should be right in front of the doors not off to the side of the building. If it is inclement weather, a disabled person has much further to walk and has a higher risk of having an accident; 2) When you walk into any of the Shoppers Drug Mart stores, you are forced to walk through the makeup & perfume. In this day and age and the amount of people with allergies, this is unacceptable. I get an instant headache and a friend of mine can't even walk into the store that way because she will have an asthma attack; 3) I have been buying my pop at Shoppers for years. Now I can only get Diet Coke in 18 packs. Do you understand that not all your customers are young and strong. It is far too heavy for me to pick up and carry. And it is a rare occasion that you have Caffeine free diet coke.

Shoppers Drug Mart complete pharmacy

If I could pick 0 stars I would. This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with.
Everything you could imagine could go wrong has gone wrong.
I also just want to say pharmacist Nick was the absolute best when he was there. But the second he walked out the door all hell broke loose!
I can tell you I have been a loyal customer for 10 years. Previously I could walk in and pick-up my prescription and leave. In the last year the pharmacy has changed owners and has gone drastically down hill.
I am not exaggerating when I say that EVERYTIME I try to pick up my prescription there has been problems. This evening was no different. This is not a problem with just one of the pharmacist. I have had problems with everyone of them. How can the incompetency be so rampent.
This evening I was trying to pick up the part of my prescription they forgot the first time I was there a couple days ago. I even made sure to confirm the name the last time I was in. It's still missing! So I asked the pharmacist for the item. She looked at my account and told me I have no more refills of that perscprition. So here I am without any of my prescription (that I was told a couple days ago I had refills of). I almost drove away thinking my doctor had screwed up. But I didn't leave cause I knew better! This is a place that has consistently screwed up my refills. So I went back in. I asked another girl to double check for me. Sure enough I have refills! How can she tell me it wasn't there. Even when I said "please check again i just had them filled by my Dr". Then of course I had to wait for persciption that I had tried to pick up twice! Please also keep in mind I have signed up for auto refills and have been getting texts telling me it's ready for me to pick it up. This is so bad and no apology and when I said something she wouldn't even look at me.
This is the last straw and shame on me for not going elsewhere instead of putting up with their abuse. I call it abuse because surely it is not rocket science to fill bottles with pills and to keep the orders straight. No wait it's not...I never had a problem before these idiots came to town.

Shoppers Drug Mart medication dispensed from pharmacy

Filled my 13 year olds prescription for anti-anxiety medication, Paxil.
Received the wrong medication, I was giving Rabeprazole. My son is not on this medication!
When I spoke with pharmacy I was told it's a commmon medication error, as prescription looks like "pariet" but is actually "Paxil"

They should have questioned why a 13yr old would be on this medication and why a psychiatrist known to them would prescribe it?
Also when picking up medication it should have been flagged as a new med!
I'm a nurse so I knew immediately it was the wrong medication.

Shoppers Drug Mart pinty's chicken wings. advertised but not in stock. staff's response.

Last weeks flyer advertised Pinty's chicken wings. I went to the Kitchener store on Fairway Dr. and was told: "Oh, we don't carry that brand in our store". I continued my search in another 4 Shoppers stores with the following responses:
"We don't have them in stock"; "Have you tried other Shopper's locations? They MIGHT have them in stock";"We are always having problems with our warehouse with advertised merchandise "; "Did you READ THE FINEPRINT?"
The floor manager at Sunrise Mall gave me a Raincheck and when I asked her where I could use it she couldn't give me an answer. (Pretty useless piece of paper).
Your company has grown far too fast and have not covered the basics of merchandising and customer service. I was going to purchase other items in your store, however, I will not be patronizing your stores in future. A Total waste of my time and patience.

Shoppers Drug Mart chromebook & shampoo sale

Just had a bad experience at Shoppers Drug Mart Cawthra & Burnhamthorpe 700 Burnhamthorpe Rd. East, Mississauga. Came at 11:10pm on Aug 17 2018 Friday ad noticed on the ads and flyer that Shoppers is having a super sale and one of them was a Chromebook. We decided to ask one of the staff to take a look at it. At 11:11pm the guy took one from their back storage and showed it to us. We asked if we can put it on hold until tomorrow. He said they can't, it's first come, first serve plus there's only 3 left which he wrote down on his flyer. My husband was checking the tech specs then the staff said if u wait until midnight the item will be cheaper as the sale starts at midnight. We we're deliberating for a min when the guy asked if we're buying it now, we said we'll wait after midnight. He said he'll put it at the back cuz any computer type items they usually don't hand it out to customer until we're ready to pay at the register. So we went around the saisles to buy time. An hour later my cart was full of stuff worth a couple of hundreds or more. This was past midnight by the time we went to the customer service desk to ask for the Chromebook. We asked one of the staff there, the guy that helped us was not around anymore. It was a girl and she went at the back storgae but never came back. We then asked the manager named Rick. He said doesn't know where they are right away. We're like we just asked the other dude and brought one and showed it in front of us. Rick said I don't know where they placed it. He said everyone left already and he's the only dude around. I said don't you have a specific storage for electronics and why can't he check at the back. Rick said they have 4 storages and he already checked 2 storages and refused to check the other storages. He didn't even want to help the other lady that was asking another computer. He immediately said he can't find them. I was so disappointed and not happy. We waited for almost 1.5 hrs for the sale to start and then this dude refused to get the Chromebook. We told him that the other dude took one from the back and showed it to us and that there were 3 left. He said that's impossible he is the only guy (male staff) there and said he started at 11pm. I was like that's not true, we came here at 11:11pm and spoke to the other dude ad he shown us the Chromebook. Rick basically didn't want to make an effort to look for it or even call anyone to help. At that point I was really not happy so I asked what was their store #, he didn't even want to give it. He said look for it on the receipt. He's just damn rude and lazy. So I asked for the customer service # he said "go ahead call 1-800-shoppers" he even said it in with annoyance then before leaving him I asked for his name. He said it's Rick. We then lined up to pay for the rest but I was too pissed that I told my family that I don't even want to buy the retail of the stuff Bec I'm too upset. They just lost roughly $500 worth of sale! When I came home I remembered he was the same rude dude 2-3 months ago that I had a bad encounter also while I was at the shampoo aisle. I was buying 6-8 bottles of Shampoo Bec they we're on sale. Diff brands. He was restocking some items there and he came up to me rudely saying " hey there's a limit to those shampoos, only 4 bottles allowed!" Rudely. I was taken aback by how he said it. I was polite when I responded and ask if the limit applies to 4 per brand or 4 overall. He seemed annoyed and said I'm pretty sure it's for all. I was not convinced bec I'm an avid customer of shoppers drug Mart that I know they do 4 or 6 per brand not per kind. Since the type to not to be rude to people I said with a smile that I will just check at the register when they ring it I will know just to be sure. He was so red and frown at me and left annoyed and angry. When I paid for the Shampoo they we're fine and I even ask the lady at the register if there was a limit she said not that she knows of and said we'll find out when we scan them. She was pleasant ( tall short hair European night shift lady-she was nice). The shampoos didn't have limit. This same dude was Rick and he seemed like he doesn't want people to buy things at that store. I don't know what's wrong with him. He seemed racist Bec I'm Asian maybe? Or he's just damn lazy.

Shoppers Drug Mart cosmetics

I came in the entrance walked through needing to pick up a prescription . Outside the boutique I remembered I needed setting pouder so I grabbed one from the makeup outside the boutique 3 items then I was rudely stopped by Thelma
She grabbed my basket and said I can purchase it at the boutique counter, I explained I have to pick up my prescription and am doing 1 payment cuz I only get so many a month with my bank then she grabbed my basket so I told her she is very rude and I wont be shopping a shoppers any longer. I completely understand why u ask for boutique items to be purchased at the boutique counter but I have other items I had to grab and I always do my shopping this way only because u have to enter the beauty area then exit it if u need anything else . Also I'm adding pictures of this shoppers the boutique is attached to the pharmacy . She is out of line and I'll grab her name .

Shoppers Drug Mart product pricing

Hello,

I purchased the Aveeno Stress Relief Body Wash on August 17th, 2018 at Shoppers 1414. It was advertised at the store for $7.99. However, I was charged $12.49 when I cashed out. Due to incorrect pricing I had to make the trip back to the store to get this resolved.

According to the Competition Bureau the store is required to
1) Give the item to me for free if it is under $10.00 or
2) Give me a $10.00 reduction for items over $10.00
(http://www.competitionbureau.gc.ca/eic/site/cb-bc.nsf/eng/00522.html#scanner)

The store refused to do either of these two. Instead, they insisted on charging me $7.99 due to Shoppers new policy from Head Office.

I found this customer service unacceptable and I felt very inconvenienced. This resulted in a return of the product, and one disappointed customer.

I would like to get this rectified. If your policies have changed, can you please outline them to me should I make any future purchases.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Kirsten

Shoppers Drug Mart online prescription renewal

I tried to use online renewal on my cell phone but it made me change my password. After changing my account's password, most of my regular prescriptions required me to phone the store. (What's the point of online if we have to phone to say fax the doctor?) Since I had to use my phone to call, I moved to my computer to access the online account. The account refused to accept the new password that it had required. Had to use the old one. What the heck? Fine, I eventually got into the account and reordered the ones that still had refills available. When I finished ordering them, I started double checking to see the ones for which I would have to to call the pharmacy. I don't know if there is a time limit, but the window changed to the one for signing in,
I gave up and called the Leamington Pharmacy and was very polite because I know that the piece of garbage software is not their fault. I wanted to explain what had happened in case some of the prescriptions I reordered went through. She was rude, snotty and kept cutting me off, so fine, I simply reordered everything. My main complaint is about the worthless software. I hope somebody fixes it so it actually becomes usefull.

Shoppers Drug Mart milk buying restrictions

Went to buy a couple of milk bags on Thursday Aug 16 at your 24hr location off of Bovaird in Brampton around 7am. When I was told by a clerk that I was not allowed to purchase 2 bags of milk due to your distric Manager's decision that now on Thursdays milk purchases were restricted to one bag.
There was no signs that I saw about this, I find this promotion idiotic..
I guess seniors only buy milk on Thursday's now at Shoppers Drug Mart. I was going to purchase the 2 milk bags and some bagels but ended up leaving everything and went to Walmart instead.
I can understand being restricted if I was buying alot of Milk (like 4+ bags) but 2 bags! So I guess unless I'm a senior my business is not wanted by your company, well no worry as I got that message loud and clear this morning. Your Distric Manager should understand his or her customer base better before implementing these kinds of restrictions. Do you not know how much you sell of it daily? Restrictions like that tell me you are affraid of running out...watch out for the senior Milk Stampeed!

Shoppers Drug Mart service

I felt discrimination by the receptionist. I gave my wife's prescription and they told me to wait. I did for more then 50 minutes. Its call proctodan-hc ointment quantity 30g. But people who came after me getting their medicine and walking out. Then I approached her she told I have to wait. And ask for the reason she told me they all working on it. I really don't get it . The medicine was sitting there in the counter and she didn't want to get it for me. I felt a racial treatment. Someone have to look in to this. Or I will start posting this on social media about shoppers drug Mart at Keswick doesn't wants to welcome colour people.

Shoppers Drug Mart seniors day benefits

Good afternoon
I have been a loyal Shoppers Drug Mart customer for many many years. For almost 5 years I have been enjoying the Senior's discount at Shoppers Drug Marts in various cities.

Last Thursday I was in the Bramalea City Centre on Seniors Day, a place I rarely go, and decided to go in for a few items since I knew it was discount day.

The woman at the cash refused to give me the discount. I was shocked! I have never been refused. We don't get many perks and thankfully SDM is one place that offers the discounts at 55.

I explained to the woman that I have been enjoying the discount for almost 5 years and she said the age to get a discount is 60 so I wasn't entitled! Have you changed the policy?

Thanks and have a great day.

Shoppers Drug Mart variance fees by pharmacy staff

Lately the helpful and polite pharmacy staff have been charging us "Variance" fees ranging from a few cents to almost a dollar? While it is not much, it doesn't seem right if I have 80% coverage and my spouse has 20% coverage = $100% coverage and you support a ODB loyalty program that doesn't charge the $2.00 deductible to those clients? What is the variance fee? She says it is the drug company but what about my loyalty, surely this nominal charge that is out there (per the staff) can be waived for my family's loyalty whatever it is.

Date of incident: Most recently August 14, 2018 - ongoing

Maybe it's the ODB Deductible that starts every August 1st after you turn 65? Some private insurance plans dont cover the cost of the deductible. Look into that.

Shoppers Drug Mart life brand bogo coupon for tues aug 14

I attempted to use the BOGO coupon emailed to me for use on Tues Aug 14 for Life brand skincare, feminine hygiene, or shaving products. I brought two Life Brand 5 blade 4 pack of cartridges to the checkout and was told to scan the coupon. It did not work and I was told that shaving products may only mean shaving cream. This did not make sense and should have been specified in the email if it was the case but I went back and chose two Life brand shaving creams and again was told to scan the coupon which again did not take off the discount. I was told that nothing could be done to honour the coupon and was suggested to contact head office! This was an extremely disappointing shopping trip to Shoppers Drug Mart!

Shoppers Drug Mart customer service

To whom it may concern
I was in shoppers drug mart on lake shore drive in North Bay Ontario on Sunday, Aug.12, 2018.
I went in and wanted to look at foundation in he cosmetics dept. I literally did not have 2 minutes to look when the cosmetics person came to me. I told her I was just looking thanknyou. Well, she didn't leave me alone at all. I was trying to look, and she kept bugging me about this and hat. Try this one, what colour? Etc. She took the one from my hand, grabbed a couple and told me to come to front and she will fab a little on my chin to see if colour was right. She put a bunch on sponge and put it on half of my face! I was never so upset! I don't like people touching my face and she just went ahead and did anyway. I'm sorry, but that mad me feel very very uncomfortable. I couldn't get out of here fast enough!
I like to look, and by looking sometimes purchase more. I didn't even get a chance to look she was bugging me. I just got my foundation and got out of that department as fast as I can.
I am still really upset that someone made me feel that way while shopping.
I thought you should be made aware.
I am hesitating on going back there to shop since when you enter doors, the cosmetics counter is right there.
Please don't let your employees push customers to the point that they are so upset they don't want to go back

Shoppers Drug Mart medela electric swing breast pump

I am new mother of 2 week old boy, who's not feeding properly and out pediatric suggested us to purchase an electric breast pump to feed the baby properly. So we went to a Shoppers Drug mart at 4130 Albert st Regina SK to look for our options. Unfortunately their was only 1 option available at time which was Medela electric swing. We asked the sales Rep for details about the product but the rep honestly said that she didn't had any idea about pumps. So, we asked if we can return it if we dont like the product, for which she said that once open we can not return the product which we clearly understood. So we finally decided to purchase the product and redeemed $90 worth of points to pay for it, and for which rep told us that if we return the product we will receive the points back too.
As soon as we got out of the store I started browsing reviews about it and realized that the same product was sold for $175 by Walmart and Amazon but shoppers sold it to us for $269.99(almost $100 more). So we went back right away to return it but we were told by the supervisor that if we return it we will loose our $90 worth of points as they are not refundable and we were informed wrong by the rep but theirs nothing much can be done now.
I felt cheated and humiliated by the way supervisor responded to us. We've been loyal customers to shoppers but now will never go back to any shoppers again.

Shoppers Drug Mart customer service

Hello,
I was at the shoppers drug store located at Newtonbrook plaza, Toronto, Ontario today at 20:40 p.m and there was a wrong price tag on one of the items which was a multivitamin (female +50). It was on sale for 10$ but when I paid for it, it wasn't and they said the sale was over while the price tag was still on the item. I was talking to their supervisor called Sabrina, she didn't say hi to me, she didn't greet at all, just told the cashier to give the item to me for the sale price and when I was telling her about the "free item policy in Ontario", she left while I was talking to her. I returned the item because I found it really disrespectful and unfair while I needed the multivitamin for my grandma. I am really serious about what happened and how she treated me as a customer wasn't appropriate at all. I really hope you take this serious too.
I'm looking forward your professional resolving,
Thank you,
Maryam Mojtabavi
