very dissapointed in teatment by this company in regards to how residents are blatently ignored and demeaned and demoralized by operations magers and persons in charge. we have been personaly told by sifton properties that we mean absolutely nothing as we are nothing but useless tenants who mean nothing and when calling head office to get response from the owner and vice president they both lie and deny everything to which is the norm at sifton properties because tenants are absolutely nothing. EMS paramedics refused entry into building to save lives because sifton refuses to give them keys and access, building manager blocking access for senior resident to get to ambulance by holding elevator door open and stopping him to get help, 8 break and enters and thefts at building and no caring whatsoever from sifton because they simply dont care as apt units and vehicles destroyed, when calling sifton they tell us to call someone who cares and dont bother them, letters put at doors telling residents they have to keep doors open for hours so they can be painted eventhough nobodys home, manager is told by head office constantly to lie to residents daily, manager rarely at building so theres nobody to contact in emergencies, almost a hundred people moved away in the past 3 months because of how sifton treats people. its our opinion that since sifton has changed who they allow to run the buildings in both management at head office and the lower offices that this company has gone way down hill and all residents of sifton properties have suffered immensly. sifton simply doesnt care about any residents in london ont . they are very rude and ignorant to all residents . in hearing from hundreds of residents past and present its our resolve that this company was run alot better many years ago when the senior owners were in charge, the ones who actualy cared about people instead of the clowns who run it today. they should be ashamed of themselves.
Their properties were too dirty and on the website they posted wrong information
We looked several properties, which offered the company Sifton Properties. The company posted good and clean properties on their websites, but in real life they didn’t clean after their previous tenants left. We looked three properties and they were completely dirty and needed some repair. We refused to rent through this company and wouldn’t advise other people as well.
The same experience here. My oven was dirty as was the stove top, The outside of the fridge still had finger marks, the bathtub wasn't clean as a whistle, and under the fridge and stove were dust bunnies, debris and filth. What a disappointment, but that was only the beginning.

We agree with you 100%. There is no care and concern for truthful, honest tenants. Current "management" and building "managers" (who don't deserve their jobs or the title of "manager"), prefer to listen to dishonesty more than the truth. You are right, this used to be a very good, well-managed, well-staffed, courteous company that had a decent business model and ethics. Now, ethics are absent, courtesy and consideration for respectable, middle-class tenants is gone, and you see preferential treatment, harassment, all kinds of breaches of the RTA and LTB standards, and open harassment and disrespect. They blame good tenants instead of owning up to their own misconduct. But remember that it takes only 2 to 4 months of training to get into property management, so we're not dealing with star achievers in apartments. Some of them are lacking in all-around knowledge about life, and are closed-minded. And we also agree with your last statement about the 'clowns' who run Sifton now, that they should be ashamed of themselves. You are spot on about that. But they aren't insightful enough to self-reflect and face their flaws, mistakes, and incompetence, so they will always blame problems on tenants. It's a messed up company now compared to what they used to be. No way are we recommending them to anybody now. When it's all about 'me' and all about their individual 'image' instead of the focus being on the customer, you are a dead failure.
