I too wish I would have read this site before I ordered the "free trial" and paid the S&H. Before my 14 days was up on my free trial, I was charged the $69.95 for the 30 day supply. I called SkinPerfection to cancel my autobill (after several attempts and getting a message that the circuits were busy) and was told that the next shipment was already sent. I would have to send the shipment back and would receive a credit when they received it. Two days later I noticed I was charged ANOTHER $80. I called SkinPerfection again to let her know that I was billed again and was informed that was the shipment she was referring to in my first call and that I would have to pay the $69.95 for my "free trial" since I didn't call within the 14 day trial period. I argued that I never had the 14 days for the trial period and was told that the 14 days start from the date I ordered it - never mind that it took two weeks to arrive so I wouldn't have any time to try it! I went to the website and printed off their Terms and Conditions which does not state that the 14 day trial is from the date of ordering. I am going to go through my credit card company and dispute it! I ordered Proactive for about a year and never had any problems like this! And to top it off - SkinPerfection doesn't work!

I just called them back and asked talked to a different representative, the first one told be that if i send the trial back she will refund my money but said that there are only 2 days left., so I checked my mails and referred the shipping date and found out that I still have 4 more days to left but this other guy said that I cannot send it now the trial period is over. so he also gave the same old two options and said that if i want the 69.95$ back I have to take the 39.99$ product every month. so instead of loosing 39.99 every month I thought it is better to forget the one time 69.95$. n when i asked him to cancel it, he said that its already cancelled... WTF... i learnt my lesson n will never try such crappy things without doing proper research.

Wow. I can't believe so many people have had the SAME problem. I ordered the free trial and it took forever for me to receive it, which I just did right now. I am considering throwing it in the garbage because the majority of people have said it's drying. I can't afford that because my skin is oily and when it dries out the oil production kicks into OVER DRIVE. Can you say slick? So anyway, I am calling TODAY to cancel my free trial. And anyway, I used a prepaid card and I only add money when I need to use it so any attempts at charging me are for nought lol

I also fell for the free trial offer. I found calling [protected] and staying on the line until someone answered is your best bet. I was waiting for 20 minutes when finally a live person answered. I asked to cancell and asked for an email confirmantion. Hope this info is helpful.

I also was charged the $69.95 when it was supposed to be a free trial. When I tried to cancel everything after trying the product and having problems with it I could never get through. When I finally did get through it was too late and past the trial date. They then sent the next shipment that I then returned and wasn't refunded on and when I finally talked to someone she said that another package was sent and that I would be charged for that also. But I told I would be sending it back and expecting a refund. I don't want to keep a product that does not work for me. I still have not received my total refund, which would be about $140.

Well I been deciding for awhile now, I even have information put in as far as my address, BUT not the credit card part, so hopefully they dont send me anything or else I will be screwed also and then I started doing some research on it and to run upon this there is no way I can purchase it especially after reading what everyone is going through, but I've had so much trouble throughout my teen years and now I'm 21 it still continues to get worse I've tried Accutane & ProActive and every OTC product possible I jsut wish my face would clear up. Thanks for helping me make my decision and one less worry :)

I also was charged the exorbitant shipping charge and the product was not received until at least 30 days. I have been unable to contact anyone - you are placed on hold and no one picks up the line. I sent my last sample back and will contact my credit card today.

If you wear/use the product, DO NOT GO INTO THE SUN! I have a triangle-shaped white bleached spot on my forehead, and a pharmacy told me it will take a few more months to go away. I should NOT have used this product at all, since it really did not help. I repeat, don't use this product!

When you order this 'free' product your computer screen has the boxes to fill in for your name, address, cc.
You have to scroll down 3 screens to see their trick clause about this 'free' trial is only so many days, then you will pay $52.50 USD and continue to be charged each month. Of course I did not see this when ordering!
Yikes, I called to complain and cancel this unauthorized auto shipping. Wish I had checked this site first! I am now trying to dispute the charges of $133.71 CAD for 2 shipments with my cc company.

Has anyone had any luck getting this co to refund their money? I tried that email that Michelle from Customer Service put up in some postings and the message just bounced back. Guess I'll keep searching for another way to get ahold of them.

I ordered the free trial and paid 9.95 for shipping. After 10 days I received the product. Immediately, I went on google.ca to see if I could find any reviews on skin Skin Perfect MD. I saw a lot of complaints so I decided to write to them to cancel my order. I assumed that they had cancelled, but much to my surprise 3 1/2 months later a charge of 84.00 showed up on my visa bill. I called visa to advise them that this charge is not authorized. They said they will dispute the charge. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE. I have ordered hundreds of products from different companies and have never felt so betrayed. I live on a small disabilitiy and this really hurts.

Much to my surprise, I received a trial-sized bottle of SP Lift, by Skin Perfection in the mail. It came in a mailing pouch, with no mention of who oredered it, or how much it cost. I knew that I had not ordered it. I searched the company's name online, and found several accusations of fraud. I called the toll free number, and was immediately asked for my credit card number! I said, 'absolutely not'. I did give my name and address, since they obviously have that anyway. I didn't hear any comuter keys as I was giving the information, so I doubt that the person on the other end was actually taking down any information. I told him that I am suspecting fraud, and he said that he would see that no further shipments would be sent to me.

I immediately went to my bank statement, and saw a debit for $4.95. The name on the debit was the same as what the shipping label. Apparently, someone had used my debit card for the serum. I was puzzled as to why someone would use my card to have something sent to me, but after reading about how credit card fraud works, I realized that they were 'testing the waters'...wanting to see if the transaction went through. While going through my statement, I also saw a charge from FFAO, West Jordan, UT. This was for only $3.99, and was posted the day after the face serum.

I called my bank to cancel my debit card, but later that evening, a debit cleared for $99 from FFAO in West Jordan, UT. I know that I didn't purchase anything from any business by the name of FFAO, and couldn't find anything similar online. My debit card is in my posession, but is used on paypal, and a couple of other reputable sites. It appears that somehow, someone was able to get my debit card number from one of the web sites, and began using it. The card never leaves my house.

I can't prove that Skin Perfection is resposible for the fraudulent charges, but after reading about other complaints by consumers, and seeing that the other charges were also from Utah, I am very suspicious.

I recommend that everyone check their bank statements very carefully. It's easy to pass over a charge for $4 or $5, but it could mean that someone has your credit card number!

I never do things like this but I stupidly ordered it too. Never saw anything about needing to cancel it within 15 days if the "trial" period. As an "additional bonus" I had ordered the eye cream too. The next thing I know I have two charges on my credit card (in addition to the original S&H which they double charged me). One is for $97 and the other is for $92. I immediately called my credit card company to dispute it. They said they get these stories all the time. They called both companies and both said they would cancel the accounts and issue me credits. One did and the other didn't: My Skin Perfection. Not only that, they sent me more product and charged me &92 again. I have spent countless hours trying to straighten this thing out (I'm literally on hold with my credit card co once again re the dispute) bc MKP said I didn't cancel during the trial period and my credit card reversed their credit(s). To add insult to injury, I only used the products several times and stopped bc they cause massive irritation to my eyes. I'm not giving up on this and am calling the BBB, consumer protection services, and any other entity I can find to try to get these guys shut down. I might even speak with an attorney bc it would be really nice if there were a class action suit against. I encourage you to do the same!
