We have been members of Solidarity Healthshare since 2/1. We have paid all of our membership fees on time and followed directions to submit medical expenses for review and reimbursement as described by the program terms. Additionally, we have sent scanned copies of bills and delinquent notifications repeatedly. We have reached out to our medical providers, who have also sent bills to Solidarity directly numerous times. We also have dates and notes from many phone conversations with Solidarity over the last couple of years as an attempt to get bills paid or repriced.If a *** was repriced (very few have been) by Solidarity and a member responsibility was provided, we paid it. Unfortunately, laboratories and healthcare providers do not always recognize Solidaritys repricing. When this happens, another convoluted system (AMPS) attempts to balance the ***. One of our bills sent into this system went into collections and decreased my husbands credit score. We ended up paying that *** out of pocket. We have emails dating back to March 2, regarding this ***. We were advised by Solidarity representatives not to pay our bills out of pocket. However, we have paid small bills out of pocket to prevent them from going into collections. We have never been reimbursed by Solidarity for bills we paid out of pocket.Today, I received a notice that my credit score dropped 48 points due to a medical ***. The referenced *** (DOS 5/9) has been submitted to Solidarity repeatedly, along with delinquent notices and collections notices. Solidaritys negligence has resulted in both my credit score and my husbands credit score decreasing. Due to Solidaritys incompetence, we are no longer in excellent standing. We are trying to refinance our house, and this could cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars over time.Additionally, I declined to have a medical procedure for fear the bills won't being paid. Solidarity is hurting health in addition to credit.

My family has been with Solidarity since August 1st of 2019 and, for that year, we had an Annual Unshared Amount (***) of $1,000. Besides what was billed directly to Solidarity from health care providers, we paid $7,368.73 out of pocket across 20 transactions, easily hitting the *** of $1,000. Of the $6,368.73 ($7,368.73 - $1,000 for the ***) we were owed, we've received $2,325 back ($2,200 on 10/17 and $125 on 1/13), leaving $4,043.73 that we are still owed by Solidarity. We have paid all of our membership dues on time. We have also reached out to them frequently, and followed all of their instructions to submit medical expenses as outlined by the program terms. All the expenses were approved, but most have not been reimbursed.Initially, we were told that once we hit our ***, we should allow for up to 120 days for processing time. When that period of time had passed, we were told that we needed to wait for their new system to rollout. When that system rolled out, we were told that they were just backed up by several months. Back in October, we were told that they understood how backed up they were, and that all of our case would be escalated. Now, they're not even bothering to give dates and are just *** on the phone. Starting the August 1st - August 1st cycle our *** went up to $2,500. Since August , we've paid $550.74 out of pocket, but their system reflects *** (as if they're applying what should be a reimbursement check to our *** to avoid paying us directly).We have meticulous records of every *** and the time (and content) of every conversation. We understood that they were delayed, but as we waited on each assurance, we watched our experience of Solidarity turn into credit card debt (something we've never had in our marriage prior). Seeing our concerns echoed by others on social media and within their own system (the prayer box), we long ago realized the problem is systemic. We are not sure what else to do.
