Southwest Kia Lied to at time of purchase

Bought our 5th Kia and bought it at Southwest Kia Dallas. Was told since no cd players anymore we would still have XM radio so we could have Syrus radio however it does not have XM and so the saleman KARKY stated he would get us an "adapter" IT has been two years and despite many calls, emails and even a personal visit this man stood right in front of me and lied to my face that he has ordered it, that it was on back order, that he would re-order it, etc YOU Get the drift. THEN we had to take our 2018 Chev Pickup in for service since we bought it there and a very good pair of pink ladies sunglasses turned up missing from Service Dept. No apologies, no reimbursement and they were 29.95 plus tax on sale.

Desired outcome: Want my adapter for my 2022 kia soul's stereo and my sunglasses or reimbursement

Southwest Kia Service department

Had my 2016 Kia towed to dealership on July 12 2021. Mechanic diagnostics showed head bolts had pulled through engine block. Purchased an extended warranty when I purchased the car which covers the engine issue. Kia has not provided warranty holder with information needed to start the repair process and will not return any of my phone calls. Meanwhile this prevents me from getting a rental until the work has been started so I am making payments on a vehicle that I cannot drive or get repaired until Kia does it's job. Their costumer service is terrible. It's been four weeks with no progress.

Desired outcome: Just want my car repaired as soon as possible just like anyone else would.

Southwest Kia warranty

Bought and financed 2013 2500 HD diesel Chevrolet PU truck from Truck World in December 2017 with a 48 month mechanical failure service contract. Truck broke down in July 2019 and towed to dealership we purchased from. They called us and said they could not fix but it was under warranty to send to another GM dealership in Dallas with no avail. Towed to a licensed mechanic who could read computer to tell us that it was the fuel injector. Sent to another GM dealership for warranty work in Rockwall TX to find out the trucks warranty we bought was not valid because of the after market parts that were sold on the truck we purchased. Claim was denied. We were sold a warranty under false pretenses and now told we should have known. The repairs are over $10 K and we are now left with payments and insurance on a $48, 000 truck that doesn't run.
We just want our truck fixed.

Southwest Kia sales/finance

May 18, 2018 I came into the store with my dad and son. I went in to get options on my lease that would end in Aug 2018. I was able to work a deal with Anthonei Mitchell on getting a 2018 Kia Niro, I was very pleased with the fact I was getting the car I wanted. We signed a paper of what my monthly payments would be and agreed down payment. My dad left and once he was out the door I felt I was taken advantage of. They were definitely aware of my first time purchasing solo.I was never given a copy of anything I had signed that day nor was explained anything that I was signing, a bunch of sign here, there, yup, there and there. .. it was done digitally so I figured it would've been emailed to me but it never did. I emailed the financial advisor Alexander Bedolla the same day giving time to reply and never received an email back. I called the next day and Anthonei Mitchell stated he would promise to get back to me with my request about needing my signed paperwork. He stated he didn't want to inconvenience me to have to go back in. Waited that whole afternoon for a response and even called to talk to Anthonei Mitchell, kept ringing. Hung up and called to talk to Alexander Bodella, kept ringing. Sunday's they are closed so okay give them that. Never got a call all day Monday which is today May 21, 2018. I had to go in the store to get my paperwork and spoke to a manager Vance Messick... I did not at all feel any kind of sympathy towards the situation. I called to get his name and when receiving I was only given first name. (I was eventually able to find his full name per Kia website.) I did receive the agreed lease but have yet to see a copy of the signed paper that we initialed when agreeing on down payment and monthly payments. I was also never explained the final payments on when I would owe or how much until today when I got the paperwork. I do not feel the customer service here in sales is one I'd recommend going to. I have reviewed the maintainence dept and customer service in that dept is amazing! But after leasing a new car I do not feel any kind of help nor appreciation from Kia after getting my car. I have received numerous emails about how to rate them amazing on their survey but best believe it'll be exactly this kind of outcome...Disappointed. I was sold a car and booted out the door. I love my car! No doubt about that but the people will not care one cent about you after buying at this location!

Southwest Kia Service crooks

Purchased two cars from this dealership and had all recommended maintenance done by them. However, no more! My wife's Sorento needed a throttle position sensor (TPS). Rather than paying 150 at the dealer, I picked one up from Napa for 55. Dropped it and the car off and was later told the Napa part did not work. So I purchased the dealer TPS. I was charged for another 120 to put the unit on and calibrate it. A $55 sensor cost me 270 dollars. My daughters car needed an air pressure sensor in the wheel. I picked on up from Napa for 99 rather than the 135 dealer part. Delivered it for service and was contacted later and told the Mapa part would not work. I have them mount the dealer part and pick the car up. They charged me for installation and calibration of the napa unit AND the dealer unit. The manager said because they had to put it on then take it off again.. I returned the part to Napa and had the guy closely examine it. The Mapa part was BRAND NEW and had NEVER even been installed! Just today my wife called about having her rear end inspected due to a lound clunk when shifting into drive.. they want to charge us $160! We contacted another dealer from a recommendationcand they only charge $60. This dealership service department is not ethical and are cheats! They will not get another penny of my money!

Southwest Kia False advertising

I found a 1995 Ford Bronco that was for sale at Southwest Kia in Dallas. There were no pictures available for the vehicle on line so a phone call was made to the car dealer about the vehicle. We were told on the phone the bronco was in good shape and drove good. Pictures were not available but they would send some by email. After several calls no pictures were sent but were told the vehicle was in good shape and could be test driven. I drove from Austin Texas to Dallas Texas to take a look at the Bronco and drive it. I had all intentions of buying it after looking at it. When I arrived I was taken to the vehicle which I found was what I would call junk. The automatic transmission was out and could not move in forward gear without revving up the engine. The transmission was shot. The interior was filthy. The carpet was very dirty and could not be cleaned. The front bumper was bent out like it had been towed by something that bent it out at the bottom. The back window motor was out and the window would not role up or down using the switch. The heater water lines had been disconnected so the heater would not work. I assume the heater had a leak and the water lines were just disconnected and not repaired. I feel I was given false information just to get me to the dealer in hopes I would buy it. I told them how far I was going to have to drive to look at it and was not told the truth about the Bronco condition. The exterior of the truck was in ok shape but that is all I can say good about the Bronco

Southwest Kia Shady Business Practice

The salesman there (Joe Ero) was telling us the only way to get a car financed at a price we could afford was to let our current car go back...then they would sell us a used car. He kept saying they would call back, but never did. We finally went to Central Kia, they took our car in trade, gave a good deal on a BRAND NEW Kia and were extremely courteous, helpful and upfront.

The car we had came from Southwest Kia (when we got it they didn't even put gas in it...the light came on as we pulled out of the lot...we took it back and they put in 1/4 tank. Wehn we wwer financing it, they gave a lot of high-pressure sales tactics..."You need this, you really should consider adding this...etc"

With Central Kia, financing was quick and (relatively) painless...they even came back later and said they could save us more money and lowered the interest rate a whole point.

Southwest Kia Bad service

After all the "I'll just give it to ya talk" which I fell for I thought that I would give these guys a try. Called first to see if I could save some time I was made all kinds of promises over the phone but when I got to the dealership all they wanted was financial info and I was tossed from one person to another and the person who had made the promises left me setting and waiting and then gave me over to a guy who was very nice but finally told me they could or would not make a trade with me. I was left feeling like so much of yesterdays garbage that I will not go into that dealership again no matter how much I need a car. SO MUCH FOR I'LL JUST GIVE IT TO YOU what I got was a lot of BULL S--T.

I went to the Mesquite Tx location. They have the worst customer service. They lie as if it's the truth. They charge for things they don't do. Add warranties when you ask not too. They talk to you to distract you from the contract you are signing. They steal your deposit money. They sell the car you originally want to purchase then like and say the loan company was the problem. Have you come to the dealership but the vehicle was gone already.
