Spinnaker Resorts timeshare presentation

We got talked into buying a package to stay at the resort and after being promised a $50 check, a $100 dining credit and a free cruise, we bought it. Room was fairly comfortable but the presentation dragged on for close to 3 1/2 hours. We said no thanks( ( about 30000) and collected our gifts. Visa credit card- $50, a$100 voucher for buying certificates at restaurant.com and a cruise activation voucher- $49 to activate but when you read the fine print, you had to pay addition $189+ /person depending upon 3 day cruise or longer. What a rip- fraudulent advertising and if this is an indication of their company- STAY AWAY!

Spinnaker Resorts timeshare presentation

I paid 199. for a stay at Hilton Head providing I attend a timeshare presentation. I was promised a restaurant gift card for 100. They said the 100. could be used to pay for meals till it was used up. I also was promised a 50. credit card. I figured pay 200. get back 150. not bad
Later, I discovered the 100. meal card was a ruse. They only give you a coupon book to be used at certain restaurants with only a small % of the bill taken off. Many restaurants don't accept it.
You could get the same thing out of the newspapers or in a hotel lobby.
I guess I'll never see the 100. refunded for false and misleading advertising. But, I sure am glad I never bought anything from them. Stay away-sleazy

I purchased a vacation for 5 days 4 nights in a one bedroom condo. I was also told that with this is would receive $200. For meals, 2-$50. Gift cards, a golf package for 2, 3days 2 nights bonus weekend, 30 min complimentary spa for 2, 5 day four night Royal Caribbean cruise - exterior room. This was $249.00. When the charged my card it became 349.00. I was told this was for tax and PROCESSING FEE! I was going to use this last summer but my husband got cancer so that was not possible. When he completed his treatment in November I called to see if they had any possible dates for Chritmas week. They said no . They said I can reserve a week for another date. So the girl told me that I can put a request in. At this point she said it was a hotel room. I told her I purchased a one bedroom condo. They said that was not correct. After much conversation she said if one is available when we reserve we may be able to get it otherwise they would try to put me is a king suite. Well on January 4 th they called me and said they had availability for my requested time which is Tuesday, March 29. I was told a standard bedroom. I told her it was a condo. Argued that point until I had to say ok to a hotel room. I called they other night to see if they were at least able to get me the king suite they talked about. Well, I was one the phone 4 different times. I was disconnected 3 times. My husband left 2 messages and I left one. No response. When I finally got to a "MANAGER" MIchelle, who wouldn't let me talk I started to yell. She said you have been yelling and I will not have you yell at me. Realistically, I don't blame her. I wouldn't want to be yelled at either. However, she was talking and wouldn't let me talk.i told her I had to yell to be heard. They let me listen to the recording of my confirmation where they said I agreed to the hotel room. Throughout the recording I am heard saying but I was told this was a one bedroom condo that I paid for. Apparently, they didn't hear that part and only heard the part about me agreeing to the hotel room after they said it was that or nothing. Then she said if you came on Wednesday instead of Tuesday you could have had a condo when you made your reservation on January 4 th. I to, d her I would have come Wednesday but no one offered me that. She finally agreed to reduce the price of the weekend. It will take 4-5 bus days to see that credit. I can't wait to see it I get all that was promised... I don't believe anything these people say.. I looked up the hotel and it is 2 stars! I don't normally travel like that unless it is an overnight and I have to sleep to continue my travels. I am so mad! Such misrepresentation! better business bureau? Legal action? These people need to be stopped ripping the public off. Now my husband is recouperating and we were going to relax thinking this was a condo, and I am going to be stuck in an ugly hotel room with a 4 cup coffee maker! So angry, to say the least. And now they will try to sell me something?LOL. Good luck!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! We had a reservation for 3 nights and 4 days to check out the Spinnaker Ormond Beach, FL resort. I return, listen to a 90 min. presentation on their timeshare and keep an open mind. Perfect, sounds great. When we got there, they didn't put us up in the resort like they said they were going to, they put us up in another hotel down the street. Very uncomfortable, no hot water the first day, uncomfortable and back breaking beds! UGH. This was a red flag to me and already not enthused about buying a timeshare from these folks. Oh, and this wasn't free, it cost us $300.00. First night, walked over to the resort just to see what there was to do and alas, there was nothing! They closed the bar at dark, the hot tub was closed too. All I saw was a pool table that took our quarters. So much for the first evening entertainment. Went back to the hotel in the low rent district and had an uncomfortable night sleeping. With sore backs, we went to the timeshare presentation the next morning, trying to have an open mind. We explained that we were a bit upset because we were told that we would be staying at the Spinnaker but were put elsewhere. The assured us they would look into it right then...but never did. Never even responded back to us on the issue. Our 90 min. presentation turned into 2 1/2 hours of pure hell. We told them we would like to think about it and was told that wasn't an option. The sales gal was rude and wouldn't take no for an answer. Finally, they gave up and we left. Funny side note, they brought in pizza for the presentation and when we went to grab a piece, they said our time was up! I didn't think they could get even more rude but they did! Further more, the price was 30k! hahahaha. Stay away from Spinnaker!

Spinnaker Resorts they made an unauthorized payment on my card

They offered me a package for $169.00 & would waive the processing fee. I found that they carved me $244.00. I called the customer service they have me. It always goes to voice mail & never answers the phone or return calls. I called the guy that have me the package. He said he would check out whats going on & call me. His name is Omari Campbell & I also spoke to a Iesha. The Spinnaker Resorts customers that referred Spinnaker to me are embarrassed & regert their decision.

Spinnaker Resorts contact for facebook winnings

Got a call from Cole informing me I was the 2nd place winner from a Facebook giveaway. I would get a $300 credit towards the vacation package making the total price $199 for 5 people. I'd be staying at something like "Best American Inn" in Brayson, Mo for 3 nights & 4 days. I'd attend a 90 minute preview of their timeshare. This would then entitle me to another trip to several destination choices for 2 nights & 3 days. A man came on the line identifying himself as Cole's Sales Manager & advising me Cole was new & he wanted to make sure everything was going good. I thanked him but said I could not turn over $199 at this time. He asked what was holding me back (Christmas) He then said this would create memories of a life time for my husband & myself & isn't that worth it? I again told him I couldn't shell out that money at this time. He said, "I FEEL SORRY FOR YOUR HUSBAND" & hung up on me

Spinnaker Resorts threatened

I was called by a marketing firm today attempting to sell me on the Spinnaker Resort. I stopped the gentleman (very loose use of that term) and told him to leave me alone. His response was I don’t like your attitude. Ok, I live in my home peacefully, and when anyone invades it via real or phone call, I should not ever have to apologize for any attitude. I simply want to be left alone. This is what I told the sales rep. His response was that he instead will call me five times a day. I have never in my life been threatened by telemarketers. My response to them as standard is to stop the sales pitch and tell them to leave me alone and never call again (stops a waste of their time and mine), however to have judgment passed on me by a telemarketer then be threatened with multiple calls daily is way over the top. I then proceeded to ask for a supervisor and was refused. I called Spinnaker Resorts via the number I found on their web page and inquired about whom I needed to talk to resolve this issue. They said that there was nothing that they could do and were not one bit apologetic about the entire matter, in fact there was resentment and almost sarcasm from that response. Having been completely frustrated at this point, I can only imagine how the actual resort would be. If the initial contact from aggressive telemarketers cannot be reined in, how could this possibly be an enjoyable resort to visit? This is clearly how they choose to run their business, apparently under threat of an onslaught of daily marketing calls toward me that no one can help with according to Spinnaker themselves, the only defense that I am left with is posting my experience everywhere I can find and hope that other people are not attacked by them as well.

Spinnaker Resorts bait and switch/ misrepresentation

I would like to start by saying I am appalled by the lack of integrity and character my salesman (Garth) exercised to misrepresent what we were purchasing. My husband and I went into this skeptical and asked a lot of pointed questions. In the end this man flat out lied. I am going to list out examples of the things we were told, questions we asked, answers we received and then the truth that has since be revealed when we called into customer service.

For starters the entire sales speech centered around the new units being built. All the materials we viewed showed the new buildings and ground layout that were going to go up in 2013. We would be buying into the new units and we would get a $4, 000 discount on our purchase price for 2 reasons; 1 we wouldn't be able to use our 2 week stay in 2012, we would have to wait until 2013 to start our 2 week stay and 2 we wouldn't be able to take any of our mini-stays in the new buildings in 2012, we would have to wait until 2013 to use the buildings. We were getting a discount for buying in early and having to wait to use what we purchased.

We were told we couldn't tour our building because it was still under construction, what we were purchasing was so new that we couldn't even see a model, we would have to look at a prior built unit to get an idea of what it would be like. I now come to find out our actual building was built and view-able the whole time, as a matter of fact, the model we toured was what we bought into! But according to Garth, we were purchasing the new under construction units.

We were told we would have to pay our maintenance fees every other year because we were purchasing an odd year unit. Not once did we get told we could only use our 2 week stay on the odd years. We were sold a new unit that we could stay in 2 weeks a year and again the $4, 000 discount was because we were making the purchase before the building was built... that's why we couldn't take our 2 week vacation in our first year... nothing about how we could only do our 2 week vacation on the odd years.

As we went through the contract the 2013 year was brought up saying that is when we could start using our 2 week vacation because that's when the building would be ready. Again, nothing about how we would only be able to use it every odd year. My husband and I even joked in front of Garth about how we would need to start saving our vacation time so we could actually use 2 weeks a year on vacation. At that point Garth gave us the speech about how we could turn in one or two weeks each year and we would get a check in the mail. We could make money on our part of the deed so no worries. It would help us pay our loan off faster. We would just need to be sure to let the office know by April so our unit could go up as available for conventions and such. He also explained to us how if we couldn't vacation 2 weeks out of the year that this would be a great gift to give to a friend or family member to take our vacation time for the year. We would just have to make sure we paid the maintenance fees.

Now I have contacted Spinnaker twice via email. The first time someone from Sales called me and tried to resell me what I actually purchased. He just couldn't understand why I'm upset. The second email I generated after I was called to pay the annual fee I am now behind on because I chose not to pay it. In that email I revealed an analogy of how this would play out in a car purchase, I have heard nothing back. Analogy below:

You go to buy a new car, you decide to buy the model that isn't yet on the showroom floor... you get to "order" your new car. The salesman talks up all the new amenities that will be in the 2013 line, blue tooth, special floor mats, alloy wheels, stereo head unit built for all the latest tech geek gadgets. He's so excited about the new 2013 model that he even downplays the 2012, tells you how much better off you will be getting the 2013 model, after all it get's 40 mpg. So you are happy as can be. Salesman sweetens the deal, since you can't drive away in your car today he throws in a "discount" and reduces the purchase price by $4000.00. So after many questions and looking over the brochure of your 2013 model you decide to go ahead and make the purchase. You are shuffled into the Finance office were you go through a flurry of pages signing, dating, initialing, signing, dating, initialing... this goes on for many pages, clearly the man behind the desk has done this countless times before. Your done, you go home and you wait. 2 months later you get the call to come pick up your new car. You show up and walk right past it having no clue it's even yours. You're looking around for your car while you are waiting for the salesman to come greet you, only he never shows. Out comes another staff member to help you get acquainted with your new-to-you car. He's completely innocent in this... takes you over to your car, only, it's not what you ordered. It's the right make and model, but the wheels aren't alloy, they're plated chrome. The head unit has a CD deck without the MP3 jack. There's satellite radio but no blue tooth and the floor mats are basic. On the side of the door you see the MPG sticker and it say's 28 in town, 32 on the highway. Now, at this point you are beyond upset. You have signed a contract, given a down payment... (for the sake of my real situation) you have even been making monthly payments... in other words, you have kept your end of the deal. You start explaining to this new innocent staff member that this isn't the car you were sold. First thing the staff member say's to you is well you signed a contract, look right here it say's it's the XL, not the XLT model. Then he goes on to say look, see here were you initialed next to the 2012 date, to which you replied, yeah we made the purchase in December.. I thought that was why the date was there. So you start explaining the brochure the salesman showed you and the staff member replies, surely you were confused, why would we be showing you the model to a car that isn't even built yet... didn't you drive the 2012 model? To which you reply, well of course, that was all that was available for me to look at on your lot, but I was sold by your salesman the 2013 and that is what I agreed to buy.

Now, tell me you wouldn't be completely pissed by this experience and not want to do business with a company that A - employs a dishonest salesman (and backs him to boot) and B - continues to insult your memory and ability to comprehend when you bring this matter to their attention?

These folks pressured me into buying a weekend to go see a condo. I choose not to go. They have called me no less then 2 times a week and now they are leaving messages with my employees saying they want to get in touch with me about Hilton head vacation.
Clearly they have no right to disclose anything I may choose to do in my private life and when I called them about this the agent named "Mike" started to yell at me... incredulous!

Spinnaker Resorts prepaid booked vacation

I booked a prepaid vaction in Hilton Head 18 month ago. When I called to book it 90 days prior they said rules changed must call back 60 days prior. When I did they said can not accomodate my request for the 3 bedrooms I paid for . I asked if 2 bedrooms would be ok. Its been 4 months of hell. Leaving messages and no reply. One person by the name of jennifer is in charge and It seems no one can help. When I called spinnaker Head office in Florida to try to get a refund the number is always busy and I am unable to speak to anyone. The number I have to make the booking is in Missouri . They always pass me to Jennifer to whom I leave a mesage and never hear back from her. My wife does not want to go anymore. I will never visit Hilton Head again and I am warning all Canadians to not visit Hilton Head and absolutely no prepaid vacation in Hilton Head.
Thank you for the scam that I will never forget.

Spinnaker Resorts they are dishonest and misleading to make a sale

Spinnaker Resorts on Hilton Head Island sold us a flex time timeshare, with the assurance we would get a 3 bedroom June week 99% of the time. Despite putting in our request within one minute of the earliest possible allowed moment, we did not get what we wanted. They lied to us and it cost us $10, 000. I would recommend no one ever deal with Spinnaker resorts, they are dishonest and misleading to make a sale, and then do not return calls unless hounded.

again I am shocked at how many people complain about Spinnaker. We own there and never had any issues. What did you expect calling to make a reservation 31 days prior to when you wanted to go? Spinnaker to roll out the red carpet?!?! Here's an idea. When its your year to visit make your request as soon as you pay your maintenance fee. Plenty of time to pick a week in June that works for you. If you wanted more flexability you should have joined Hilton Honors and make hotel reservations instead of buying a timeshare!

My husband and I just came back from Spinnaker in SC, we went through the whole presentation and thought it sounded great. We decided to sell our other timeshare. We were promised to get all of this money for our sale but never told it wasn't a guarantee. Later because of a call from the real estate company, we found out we were responsible for paying all these fees to have the old property listed. To make a long story short, Spinnaker made all of these promises and none turned out to be true. Fortunately we were able to get our money back and get out of the contract but only after getting the run around for two weeks. Stay away from these scam artist!

Spinnaker Resorts misrepresentation

My wife and I have had a Spinnaker T/S since 1993. We purchased a week in Hilton Head that year at a sales presentation, and had always been happy with our ubit and the service.

Approx. 4-5 years ago we upgraded to unit at Waterside, same week, bigger unit, bigger family, friends, etc. All was well.

Two years ago our week didn't fit into our kids sports schedule as well as when they were smaller. Per chance at a "sales upgrade" we were presented with a "floating week" T/S. Guaranteed to have accommodations up to a week prior to travel. Just the kind of flexibility we needed, right?

Ha! We learned the hard way, you need to make reservations one year in advance. When my wife tried to do that, Spinnaker said all three of there resorts on H.H. were sold out all summer.

Our one fixed week was much better than this. On paper Spinnaker is probably correct, and we read and signed the contract, BUT, the sales person assured us that it would be no problem to reserve a condo at the last minute.

We obviously paid a sizeable amount of money for this "convenience".

And our first mistake was to trust the *** that lied to us.

Going through the same thing with ownership at Royal Floridian, Ormond Beach. My sister and I purchased a 2 bedroom unit in 2004, and we both distinctly remember the realtor explaining that our purchase included one floating week ( could be scheduled any time of the year on first come / first served basis ), and an additional, 5 day week that could be scheduled ONLY 2 weeks in advance. We never used that 5 day option, but now that we are looking into it, we are being told that it isn't in our contract! Our deed / agreement states "Unit week(s) : 2 " ? Did the realtor deceive us, or is this a downright lie on the part of Spinnaker management?

Spinnaker Resorts fraudulent sales practice

Spinnaker purposely used deception and fraudulent misrepresentation in getting us to sign a contract and sign over to them a unit that we had paid $8900 for by telling us one time and writing something entirely different. The salesman, Clarke Tefft, told us we were getting a resale unit since that was the only thing I said I would buy since I knew we could get it for about half the price of buying a unit upfront from them. He promised that if we listed our 1-bedroom unit with Resort Brokerage for $199 that it would sell within a couple months, getting enough money to pay off this resale 2-bedroom unit. Since he continued to promise that this would happen, we listened to him and agreed.

After paying 3 payments, hearing nothing, not being able to get in contact w/Clarke with the number he gave us, we wrote to Spinnaker, returning the payment book since we were not going to waste any more money because of what we were promised was not taking place. They ignored this, turning this over to their collection agency and continuing to bill us for the maintenance fees for this unit we never used.

On April 1, 2007, we received a letter from Spinnaker canceling our reservations that we had for the 1-bedroom unit that we had paid for in 2001 because we had not paid for this other unit nor the fees. There were separate owner numbers for each unit. In contacting the reservation department, Wm. Young and John W., we learned that there was much more deception than just promising the 1-bedroom unit would sell to pay off the two-bedroom unit.

Rather than this second unit being a resale as we were told, they charged us $19, 842, the upfront cost, using $8900 equity of our 1-bedroom unit. Both these units were only for every other year. We were told that we could get this resale unit for $11, 342. There is no way we would have paid $19, 842, if we were aware of it, for a unit that could be used only every other year.. I asked how could they do this when we had the recorded deed for this unit. That's when they said we signed a Quit Release Deed giving the unit to them, although at the time of talking w/Mr. Young, he could not locate it, nor were we given a copy when we were given our paperwork at the time of signing this contract. Later after talking w/John W., we were sent a copy of this deed along with a Purchase Proposal that we had not been given a copy of.

The only way that they got our signatures on this deed was Clarke telling us that our fixed unit along with all others were being changed to floating units and we would need to sign, making this change. We had no idea that we were signing our unit over to them.

We have tried to work with them, writing them on 5/1/09 telling them the difference in what we were told and what was actually written. We also told them that the contract signed in September, 2007, because of these fradulent conditions, needed to be voided and the necessary paperwork to be done to return our paid unit to us and our reservations reinstated as maintenance fees for this year had just been paid. We also wanted the report against our excellent credit to be retracted. Spinnaker just continues to ignore what we tell them actually occurred.

It is most unfortunate that these types of sales practices are used in order to take advantage of others and deceive people out of what they own. Researching other complaints that have been filed against them shows that apparently the salesmen are trained in these practices. We would like to do what we can to keep this from happening to other people.

Amazingly after doing some homework on "rb4187" I have come to the conclusion that this disgruntled sales executive was actually let go from Coral Resorts for POOR SALES PERFORMANCE and for also LYING and DECEITFUL PRACTICE towards clients/owners of Coral Resorts!

I found this out because I was a client of "rb4187" and as I tried to contact him multiple times with no reply, I decided to contact Coral Resorts and that is when they told me that he was let go for the reasons mentioned above!

As for Clarke Tefft, I have never met the man while I was there but I am sure that he is a pretty clever sales executive like all of them are but we need to realize as consumers that it is our responsibility to step up to the plate and do our own homework!

If there is anyone one to be angry at, it should be at ourselves and not the sales executives! If anyone has the right to be upset, it would be me for the deceitfulness that "rb4187" displayed, but instead, I will just mark it up as a lesson learned...

And trust me, these companies WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY and nor should they have too... Yet just ANOTHER lie told by my "trusty sales executive, RB4187"

Good luck and have fun shopping!

Time shares are a terrible deal to begin with, but even worse when you get involved with someone like Clarke.

I worked with him at Coral Resorts and was shocked at the types of scams that he and the managers would pull off.

If you have just purchased a time share and are within your rescission period, cancel ASAP. If you got here by googling Clarke's name, raise as much cane as you can with Spinnaker or Coral Resorts.

If you stay a thorn in their side long enough (months and months), they will refund some of your money.

Good luck and sorry you got wrapped up with these people.

Spinnaker Resorts unethical business practices

They called me on the phone and offered a 4 night stay at Datona Beach at a very discounted rate if I attended one of their presentations. There are age, and income qualifications that you must meet in order to qualify and I meet these easily so I paid for discounted stay. When I got there they put in a very dirty and run down hotel on the beach and gave me a time and day during my stay when I had to attend this 90 minute presentation. When I went to the presentation thay make you fill out a form with all of your information so they can verify your age and income. MAKE SURE YOU GET A COPY OF THIS FORM! . Decided not to buy because I was laid off for several weeks and was not sure how stable my job was. I also was not that impressed with the Grand Floridian since I was not very clean and need many repairs. When I got home I found out that they billed my credit card $150.00 and said that I was not eligible for the deal. I put the charge in dispute and they sent the credit card company a copy of my form with a CIRCLE AROUND MY INCOME BEING LESS THEN $55, 000. I did not fill it out that way so they actually changed it. IF YOU ARE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO EVER DEAL WITH SPINNAKER GET A COPY OF EVERYTHING THAT YOU FILL OUT SINCE THEY ARE DISHONEST. I am glad I did not make the mistake of purchasing anything from them. I will bet that all of the repairs they promised are never going to happen either.

We scheduled a stay in Daytona, Florida to view a time share through Spinnaker at The Floridian.
We were promised 4 nights, $50 in food vouchers, and $20 in beach vouchers.
We were to arrive on March 31, 2009.
We purchased an extra night to make it 5 nights total.
Someone called on March 30th to make sure we were coming.
On March 31st when we were driving through Georgia and almost there, someone from Spinnaker called our home phone and said the following, "There has been a change. You will only be able to stay for the original 3 nights. I am giving you a refund for the extra night you purchased. If you have any questions, call XXX-XXXX."
We called and told the person that we have a contract, and Spinnaker is breaking the contract.
It was useless to talk to her or anyone else associated with Spinnaker.
I wouldn't buy a cardboard box from Spinnaker
While I was waiting for The Floridian rep to help up with the room reservation at El Caribe (5 miles away), I looked at the people sitting and walking in the lobby.
Their guests looked bored to death like they couldn't wait for their week to be over.

Spinnaker Resorts all info was lies

Timeshare purchased in good faith . Majority of information given by sales representative was a lie . Our personal informacywas sold, on a list to timeshare resale company, resulting ina fradulent transaction -- contravention of privacy of information act. All Spinnaker company members refuse to return phone calls, emails or any other attempts to contact and discuss situation and possible resolution .
Stongly recommend that no one does business with this thoroughly dishonest company . .

They cheated us out of a unit we owned by their lies and made promises that never happened. Don't do business with businesses that have to resort to these fradulent sales practices.

Spinnaker Resorts rip off

Nothing would do my husband, back in 2005, but he had to have that timeshare that the young man presented so nicely.

We were guaranteed to have Royal Floridian Unit 321/03 on even years. As owners we, and all members of our family, could use any and all facilities of the resort 24/7, 365. This sounded great, since our daughter lived about an hour away.

About a month later our daughter’s marriage broke up. She needed a place to stay. It’s wonderful we have RCI. It’s not so wonderful. We don’t have RCI. Spinnaker has not yet turned in the paperwork. We thought since they have not fulfilled their end of the bargain, maybe we can still get out of ours. NO!

We contacted the BBB and the Florida Attorney General and were informed Spinnaker was in the right. We had to have cancelled 72 hours after we signed the first document, NOT, as we thought, 72 hours after they delivered the finished documents to us.

Finally, 18 months and one phone call a day, later, the Loan Administration Department, advised us they were cancelling our Purchase Agreement, but ‘all money received to date would be retained, not as a penalty, but as liquidated damages.’

“IT IS FURTHER UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED THAT ALL PARTIES ARE RELEASED FROM ANY OBLIGATION PERTAINING TO SAID PURCHASE AGREEMENT.” Somebody forgot to tell Concord Servicing Group, Paradise Valley, AZ, because they placed a mortgage default on my credit report. NOW try to buy a home.

My Pals, steer clear of Spinnaker Resorts, Summerbay Resorts, and Florida Discount Lodging among others. I have been scammed by the best and the worst.

A lot of promises that are not followed up on. Beware of Spinnaker saying they can buy you out of any other resort you may own.

Bait and switch. I was told I could choose to stay at my choice of one of their resorts at Hilton Head. Instead I was put in SR Hotel. Smell was so bad after rooms had flooded we had to buy candles to mask the odor.
Salesman from Ireland mocked us for coming to get "freebies" when we choose not to buy. He hinted he and his family were above that!

I get calls every single day from some at spinnaker resorts.
Please stop calling me.. I've begged them to take me off the list..
The calls come from different SC towns.. used to be just bluffton or Beaufort..now the calls come from Blacksburg.. I have friends in Blacksburg so I hesitate about not answering..

Do not buy this time share. They SELL most of their inventory to Interval and then tell owners of their timeshare that space is not available on your desired week, but perhaps you can get your desired time through interval. YES! Interval has priority over owners.

Just called the loan department about our account and the loan agent cussed at us. This is the 2nd time this has happened, by the same agent. A very unprofessional and shady company. I will be canceling all future deals with this company. I don't like being cussed at for asking a question. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Continuous phone solicitation trying to get me to sign up for a 'free' trip that will cost me $199.00 in fees. Even after they were told 'no', they continue to call. This is considered harassment and needs to stop.

Not to mention their free cruise certificate was just that...a free certificate for an expensive cruise. I can't believe we paid 300$ for 3 nights for a room worth 50 bucks. I feel like such an ***** paying good money to stay in a rundown hotel.

Trying to get out of timeshare. Anyone knows what happens if you just quit paying maintenance fees?
