I visited the Westpark Starbucks, Blairgowrie this morning at 11am with my wife. We have enjoyed visiting this Starbucks outlet for the past two years and have remarked how helpful the staff have always been. I was served by a young woman (the only one serving). I placed my mobile phone, showing my QR code, on the counter beside a bottle of apple juice. I also order a chocolate twist and a medium latte. The charge was £8.95. I asked whether she had scanned the QR code, to be told it was too late as she had completed the order. Her attitude was dismissive.
She could not have missed the QR code, beside the Apple juice bottle, but made no attempt to rectify her error, therefore I have lost stars (a minor issue). She appeared to be unhappy, even sullen. It is sad as we have always had a pleasant experience with all the other staff in the past. We will avoid using this outlet in future when this young lady is serving if her unhelpful attitude has not improve. Obviously on this occasion I did not leave a tip.
