I have an autograph that I bought from a seller on ebay and it came with a zarelli space authentication certificate of authenticity. There is however a clause along the bottom that states that the document only represents an opinion and has no legal remedy about authenticity. I have since received a conflicting opinion from another expert. It is too late for me to open up a case in ebay and the limit of time for a refund has also passed and I might be stuck with a bad autograph. Yes these authenticators should be licensed.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Zarelli can be found, giving the same BAD ADVICE on Collect Space. com . I hate it when the ignorant pretend to be professions and get away with it.
Steve Zarelli Authenticates for RR AUCTION in New Hampshire. RR Auction of New Hampshire is facing a class action suit for allegedly selling FAKE AUTOGRAPHS . I personally would avoid RR auction. I would also be darned leery of anything Steve zarelli Authenticated
There are quite a few upset collectors because of Zarelli Authentication. Just Google Steve Zarelli Complaint and I bet you find many pages. He works for RR and RR is facing legal issues for selling fakes or alleged fakes.
What a cornball . This Zarelli needs a real job
Steve is an entra-manure and not an entrepreneur. He also was and always will be a flake in my humble opinion
This guy does not have a very good track record IMHO . I would be very ashamed if I were S.Z. there are a number of stories about people buying his AUTHENTICATED AUTOGRAPHS from EBAY and having PSA give a very different opinion about authenticity.
He looks like a twinkie
Zarelli was a COIN EXPERT for about five years then an expert on Indian arrow heads then a comic book authentication and today is is a profound expert on SPACE AUTOGRAPHS . What type of expert will he become in the future ?
I just found a number of on line complaints about Steve Zarelli the export. Every year we went to Florida after Christmas. The Book Store at Kennedy was always having Astronauts signing autographs in person. I always paid to stand in line and get a few autographs. I sold my extras on eBay but one day that all changed and the only person making money was Zarelli (A Ginny) who charged money for his worthless opinions. My IN PERSON signed books were being returned right and left because my customers were taken in by this woop they sent the items to him with their checks made out to Steve Zarelli and Zarelli would send letters stating the IN PERSON SIGNED BOOKS were not authentic. Zarelli did not go to Florida and stand in line and he was the only one making money off my efforts. I still go to Florida, but I do a little bit less because I can no longer go the Kennedy and get signed books to sell. I am retired and selling my signed books supplimented my winters in Florida. Mr. Zarelli, think about your opinion business and how it effects other people. I also read on one forum about your sick opinions about charity auctions. Someday when you meet God, you will have to atone for your actions here on earth. Thinks about how your actions effect other people.

A year ago Michael Collins did a private signing with NOVASPACE. I bought four of these at a cost of about $ 300 each. I sold one online for about $ 450 which gave me a small profit. The buyer returned it claiming it was not authentic based on a Zarelli Opinion. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but just because he gave an opinion does not mean that it is true and correct. My customer had a Certificate from Novaspace and yet he paid an additional $ 50 or more to Zarelli. My opinion is that Steve Zarelli should keep his opinions to himself
Zarelli gave me an on-line opinion on an autograph that I was considering buying. Zarelli's opinion was that the autographed FDC was good . I purchased it and I have since been given two other opinions that the signatures are all in autopen and not live signatures. One opinion was from PSA. His opinion was free but one should be certain of the facts prior to giving blind and blanketed opinions. I could have spent my money on something else but I trusted Zarelli's opinion. Never Again.
RR AUCTION is facing a sizable class action civil suit for allegedly selling fakes from [protected]. Shortly thereafter Scott Cornish left RR Auction as Authenticator. Visit http://www.rrauctionlawsuit.com for details. RR replaced Cornish with Steven Zarelli . Just the facts.
Steven Zarelli has a legitimate and lucrative job in Schenectady NY. He is employed at a manufacturing facility. He makes a decent living. My opinion is that Steve should keep autographs as a hobby. Steve has decided to turn "Autograph Authentication" into a business. In my humble opinion, this is foolish. Fact, autograph collecting has a smaller audience that most hobbies and SPACE is limiting it even more. Fact, Steve is far from perfect. He is self taught in handwriting and not an expert, although he knows a lot. Steve makes errors. These errors result in complaints. His errors also cause hard feelings. I have worked with Steve. I also work in Schenectady NY along with Steve. It hurts me to read all the many complaints. Not one complaint, however, makes any accusations of wrong doing..NOT ONE! Every complaint relates to errors not dishonesty. I wish Steve would put his hobby into perspective and embrace his position . He is a nice guy and he has a future too !
Steve Zarelli is now listed on UACC as UACC Approved Authenticator. I wonder if anyone in the UACC was ever on the receiving end of a Zarelli opinion gone sour on an autograph ? It is one thing to find out a self proclaimed authenticator is full of ego and void of knowledge, but now is is "APPROVED " ?
Steven Zarelli was a well known BEANIE BABY expert. He knew all about sewing styles, Thread fibers etc etc ...Today he is an expert on Space Autographs and now he knows all about angles, strokes, and pen pressure ...THIS GUY IS AMAZING ! Everyone with an IQ lover than 105 is all over this guy.
Cornball !
I guess he doesn't authenticate Beanie Babies any longer
MISTER MASSAGE PARLOR !
Steve Zarelli is most best
THIS IS WHERE ZARELLI COAS BELONG !
Si le garçon américain zarelli pilotait un avion de marche sur la surface de la lune, il souillerait ses couches. Toilettes garçon américain
This man has a way of attracting the "NEWBY" collectors. Seasoned collectors are adults and they have knowledge of their own, so they do not need a hoaky printed out sheet from Zarelli to prove anything . The Zarelli COA just shows these young and less seasoned people do not know enough about autograph collecting to come to their own conclusions. Authentication and COAs will soon be worthless sheets of paper as the bottom will fall out of the authentication boom. When the authentication boom resides, you will never find these "Authentication Firms" again. All those folks will be into new careers. Future collectors will throw out the COA's as they will have no meaning at all.
My Name Is Ian ...As a long time autograph collector, I know its tough to find an authenticater that you can personally communicate with and who will give you an honest and expert opinion. When it comes to Space Authentication, Steve Zarelli is truly the best out there. I would use no other! He has integrity and is highly respected in the autograph community having helped steeer collectors away from forgeries for years. I really couldn't praise the gentleman enough. Thanks Steve!
“Steve Zarelli helped settle a huge issue for the U.S. Space Walk of Fame Museum!
Steve was chosen due to his long-standing reputation as an expert in the field of astronaut autographs. Steve did a thorough investigation and, not only deemed the signature to be authentic, but also provided detailed documentation to back up his findings.
Steve’s authentication settled this issue to the satisfaction of our buyer, and Steve refused payment saying he was happy to help our organization.
Steve Zarelli is a class act all the way.”
— Charles Jeffrey
“Mr. Zarelli is certainly the finest authenticator in space autographs. He uses an amazing amount of personal experience and references to ensure he gets it right every single time. Steve Zarelli is also one of the nicest people on the planet and is the gold standard of authentic space autographs.”
— Sean Monaghan
If Neil Armstrong passed away in 2012 then how did he sign a postal cover with a 2015 postmark ? Not judging just stating. Does Zarelli wear glasses ?
The Zarelli COAS make fine TOILET PAPER
THE MOST BESTEST EVER !
