Said it was flooded. No problem. It's a Stihl. It will start. But,

I couldn't start it. Took it to several Stihl stores with no success. Months go by. I have a beautiful, brand new Stihl MS660 I can't use. I was directed to a store in Downingtown. They got it started. Runs for 2 weeks. Won't restart when warm. It is under warranty. Should I replace it or keep trying?

Soon, it would burn up. Paid to have it rebuilt. Burnt up again. I took excellent care of this thousand dollar plus professional tree eater. When it ran, it was a Great White, eagerly devouring everything it touched, a big, slick, muscled terror on a deadly mission to conquer.

I always loved Stihl. My 028AV ran for 25 years without a glitch, Cleared my wooded land and built my house. 044? the same. Before it cooked this last time I took it to the dealer 2 times in one month. Said something's not right. Tested it for a few seconds. Took it home. Ran for about 3 minutes.

They want me to buy a new one. Me, too. But, gentleman, same thing could happen. No answers. Wasted time. Wasted money.

Desired outcome: How could this happen? No explanation. Just. "get yourself a brand new Stihl. Won't that be fun?" Give me one that works and I'll buy the next one.
