Proceed with Caution: Mixed Experiences Reported
As I delve into the reviews of Storage Auctions, it becomes evident that the experiences of customers vary greatly. While some express satisfaction with the ease of the auction process and efficient transactions, others highlight significant concerns. Issues such as delayed refunds, canceled auctions, and lack of responsiveness from customer service are recurrent themes. It's crucial to approach transactions with caution and manage expectations accordingly. Despite the platform's potential benefits, it's advisable to thoroughly research and consider all feedback before engaging in auctions on Storage Auctions.
Buyer Beware: My Experience with 5 Star Storage and Storage Auctions
Let me tell you, Storage Auctions (storageauctions.com) is an absolute wild west when it comes to buying storage units. These units are no joke, they have often been through the ringer, and you really never know what you're gonna get when you bid. As for 5 Star Storage, they are one of the worst offenders when it comes to selling all the good stuff in the front office and leaving you with nothing but the garbage. It's a real shame because it seems like they do it on purpose, knowing that buyers will come in expecting something worthwhile and end up getting ripped off.
I gotta say, many people have been complaining about this issue, so it's important to watch out for this kind of thing. You really have to be careful when bidding on units, and make sure you inspect them carefully beforehand. Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty, because you never know when you'll find a real treasure in one of these units.
All in all, I think Storage Auctions is a great resource for finding unique items and getting a good deal, but you really have to be aware of the risks involved. It's not for everyone, but if you're willing to take a chance and do your research, you might just come out on top. So go ahead, give it a shot, and see what you can find! But remember, buyer beware.
Storage Auctions Review: Scammers Gave My Winning Bid to Someone Else!
So, I was checking out Storage Auctions (storageauctions.com) and I gotta say, I put in a bid for one of them storage units. And boy was I thrilled when the website showed me as the highest bidder with a whopping 3:70 clock! But then, I went to check my messages on the site and guess what? They went and gave the unit to someone else who paid even more money! Can you believe that? What a bunch of scammers!
I mean, it's not like I didn't work hard for that money, you know what I mean? And then these guys just go and award the unit to someone else like it's no big deal. It's just not right.
Anyway, I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Storage Auctions. I thought this would be a cool way to get some good deals on storage units, but now I'm not so sure. Guess I'll have to keep looking for another place to score some bargains.
But really, if you're thinking about using Storage Auctions, I suggest you proceed with caution. Who knows, you might end up with the short end of the stick like I did.

Delayed Auction Cancellation and Refund: My Experience with StorageAuctions.com
So I won this auction on storageauctions.com, right? But it got cancelled a few weeks later than it should've! Like come on man, that's not right. But then, I got a message saying it was cancelled and that they were gonna give me my money back. That's cool and all, but it's been like, what, 6 days and I still don't have my refund? I even messaged them and haven't heard back yet. Hopefully they get their stuff together soon.
Storage Auctions Review: Dishonest Owner and Staged Units
I had a conversation with the owner of Storage Auctions, Lonnie Bickford, on February 16, 2021. He suggested that I purchase from another website and even mentioned a certain person's name that he believed was the reason behind me being blocked. I finally got a hold of him after trying several phone numbers and was able to discuss the situation. Interestingly enough, Lonnie Bickford also owns APPLE TREE STORAGE, and I purchased two units from there that also turned out to be STAGED UNITS. It's astonishing that someone who collects a paycheck by selling storage units has to resort to cheating the very people who support his livelihood.
It is unfortunate to see someone like Lonnie Bickford trying to scam people for money. Taking advantage of paying customers and auction bidders is not fair play. It is unacceptable that some storage units are staged to make them appear more valuable than they truly are. Those who work hard to earn money deserve the truth when investing in storage units. As a bidder, I want to be confident that the units I bid on have not been tampered with or falsely presented to me.
In conclusion, I don't recommend Storage Auctions due to my negative experience with owner' Lonnie Bickford. He has proven himself to be untrustworthy and dishonest. It's disappointing to see how greed can truly bring out the worst in people.
Sketchy and Unprofessional: My Negative Experience with Storage Auctions
I recently had a not so pleasant experience with Storage Auctions, to say the least. I won a unit for $500+, and when I called to ask about it, they told me that it had to be reran due to "Alabama state laws". This just doesn't sound right to me and I told them as much. I even asked them to explain the law to me, but they couldn't seem to do so. After this conversation, I was told they refunded me, but now it's been four days and I still haven't received anything. Talk about frustrating!
To make matters worse, they blocked me from the site for being "rude" to a woman who I asked to explain the "law" to me. In my opinion, they are very sketchy people who don't know what they're talking about. I suggest using another site altogether, one that actually knows what they are doing!
Overall, I feel like Storage Auctions left a bad taste in my mouth. It's really important to have customer service that is knowledgeable about state laws, as well as the auction process itself. Unfortunately, this company lacked both. If you're considering using Storage Auctions, I would recommend doing your research and finding a company with a better reputation.
Managers are allowed to sift thru your things with absolutely no repercussions. No help from anyone, don't get cheated on this site.
