I recently purchased Chanel Perfume on line from this company and I now find on delivery by the Royal Mail I have to pay a £12.65 Customs Charge before delivery of the said goods as I have already paid for the goods by credit card I am unable to cancel the transaction. Nowhere on this site does it say that customers will have to pay a Customs Charge. I have EMailed the Company but they avoid my question and repeatedly send the same EMail in return stating when the goods were dispatched. Please advise all potential customers.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Anyone buying goods online from outside EU is subject to pay Customs. This is not a certainty but it is something likely to happen. By no means this is a seller's fault - either from StrawberryNet or any other company. This is just a customer lack of information about his own country imports laws and regulations.
After I checked out and provided my credit card info, the price went up. They promised me a refund six weeks ago and never sent it.
First order and my parcel was lost. Didn't get a refund, no reply from customer service. Bad service. Will never reorder and have warned my friends°.
same here in egypt, when i submitted the order there is nothing to mention that there will be addional tax and customs charges.
after order is dispatched, i received an email confirmation and at that time only I knew vat is under responsibility of the customer!
