Took money out of bank
On the 6 of June my partner ordered a free trial of diet tablets all she had to do was pay for postage. She received the tablets. 10 days later 80 pound was taken out of my account and my sons account as she did it twice using both cards. We were disgusted by this and complained they refunded us half the money back then 3 days later they have took another 80 pound out of each account we are totally mortified by this the terms and conditions were not clear
Unethical selling
The website leads consumers to believe that they are signing up to a trial with Rush My Trial in large letters. However when you get further on in the sign up process the text telling you that you will be billed £79.95 on the 14th day and that a full tub will be sent every 30 days thereafter is as expected in small print but also in pale grey so it is not as noticeable. See screenshot attached. Unfortunately my teenage daughter who ironically has no need whatsoever for the product signed up using my bank details. I accept this is my responsibility but the whole way it is set up so that the first payment goes as the 14 day free trial period expires is to me just totally unethical The attitude of the employee I spoke to was obnoxious to be honest. 25% refund is all I have managed to get so far.
I was charged with 79.95 (2x) even the 39 day trial period is haven't been finished without my knowledge
I signed up for a 30 day trial on line on this company as I want to loose weight.testimonies seems so real and I decided to sign up.I received the product on the 11th of August. After a few days of usage I noticed that every time I took it, I feel a bit of a headache so I stopped it as recommended by one of my colleague.i go on holiday not I using it and planned to ring them when I return because the 30 day trial period is not yet due when I return. I just checked my bank account on line Ithis morning and I just noticed that I was about to exceed my overdraft limit and this company has just debited me 79.95 (2x) .i suspected this is a scam as I don't even had an email about this direct debit.i tried to ring the number stated in their order confirmation email.ive spoken to Nicolas ID nos# 0815.and I was told I can't get my money back and mentioned that it's stated in the website.i can't believe it and was shocked because I never have read that information when I signed on the trial and it's clearly said it's am30 day trial period without mentioning about the direct debit when the 14 day period laps.please..please help.i will pay £25 pounds per day starting tomorrow because my overdraft limit will be exceeding.thank you
Free trial scam
On the 6/7/2014 I purchased what I thought was a free trial of super keytone plus and aloe ferox cleanse. Today 25/7/2014 I checked my account and realised my account has been debited for 79.95 twice for these pills on the 21/7/2014 and 22/7/2014. I rang said company and explained how I felt their website was very misleading and i felt i had been duped. It was not clearly stated that I would be billed for said FREE products and that they were in fact not a free trial. I only received the procucts on the 11/7/2014. The lady I spoke to kept referring back to the terms and conditions which I unknowingly signed up to and after a very irrate conversation agreed to refund half. I explained the bottles had not even been opened and that i could return them in their original condition but she would not even consider this. I asked to speak to someone in charge which she refused to do. I am furious and feel quite embarrassed as I am usually quite savvy when it comes to online purchases but feel this company deliberately misleads on costs.
I agreed a 2 week trial with above product.Yesterday I received a phone call from my bank saying about an unusual transaction of £82.90 being taken out on a monthly basis for at least 4 months. I did not realise this until bank got in touch.I rang above company, he was quite nasty, his name was Steve.he has no idea of customer service .His attitude was disgusting.i said I haven't opened any of the packages they have sent .He said not to bother as he was not returning any of my money.i have changed my bank card, he said it doesn't matter, because he can still take monthly payments out of my account. he kept saying about email I never received about terms and conditions. apparently saying if we do not get back to them after 2 week trial .they will automatically take it, I want a monthly supply. When I received the capsules there was no amount of monies on invoice, which Steve said there doesn't have to be.If there was monies on invoice ' I would of been in touch with them a lot sooner. He also said the account is not closed, as I said I was taking it further.what right has Steve to help himself out of my account. Iwork hard for my money.all I wanted to do was cancel it. he was having none of it. now I want a full refund. He offered me a refund of £39 which is half of the last months supply. I would not except this. This happened on Friday 11th September..
Hi,
I have still not gotten my refund till date
My bank account was charged on the 22nd may and on the 26th may 2015 for £79:95 & £79:95 respectively.
Could you please refund this total amount as required as I have returned the item to your company unopened and based on my last call to you in June 2015 you stated that you received the items back.
Regards,
I signed up for the free trial but didn't see anything about signing up for a subscription. I rang to complain about being "robbed of £89 and £95" and was told they had no record of my order. So no result there. My bank fraud dept wouldn't do anything about it nor would the unauthorised debit payment dept. I thought paying by debit card was a safeguard about this sort of thing but it is not. I am a pensioner so I will have to cut down on my spending for quite a while.
I paid for postage for a free sample. My account has now been debited £79.95 and will continue to be debited for items I do not want.
Certainly not my idea of a 'free trial' not when it costs you nearly £200 for the 2 products. T&C's are so confusing. No wonder they can catch so many people out. Shouldn't be allowed to still be happening.
I have now stopped all payments that I never knew I had ketone have taken £450 from my acc when all I thought was that I was paying £4.95 for postage I am fuming
OMG, i just orderd for a free trial amd there wasn't any terms and conditions under that page but after i saw your comment i called them to cancel the order and they said is impossible, what should i do please any idea
One more thing;
I do have to say that I did have to block my card and to request a new one.
The bank could not guarantee that they can stop future payments from this company.
(Again something what makes me think about the bank)
Also we fell into this scam.
But after calling HSBC (our bank involved) they refunded all payments that they took after the trial payments.
In our case that was £4.95 and £2.95 which we agreed to. But the bank told us that this company
took again and again (total about £440, -) by using the card details again.
They cannot keep these details and for sure not use them again.
I asked this directly to my bank. They agreed.
But I have to say, that they were specially careful after I asked HSBC if they were on this scam too.
As at the last payment I was £80.- in overdraft. I have a formal overdraft of £100.- So I only had £20.- available balance.
When I use my card details online to buy something of £50.- the bank always declines the payment.
But now they decided that I can go in overdraft up to £160.-?
This they could not as they told me themselves that they would not allow any payments to go over the formal
overdraft +£15.- And this is to protect me. Nice protection!
So I asked them directly if they wanted me to go more into overdraft by authorising this payment anyway.
After consulting a manager he told me they would refund all disputed payments.
Which were refunded in 12 hours.
Conclusion;
I don't know how this company can do this, but HSBC is on their side.
Ps.
Make sure you tell SuperKetone that you did try to cancel in the 14 days, but you tried to call in the evening after 09:00pm.
They are stating in their terms that they are always open (24 hours and 7days a week.)
But they are not. They close every day at 08:00pm or 09:00pm and in the weekend even earlier.
sorry the number is [protected] X
