Manager/Head Cashier of the Store rude and disrespectful
Today (2 September) we went to Tekkie Town to buy make a purchase for my son's 4th birthday. We walked into the store at 13:30 and started looking for the right shoe. This proved to be difficult as most of the choices we made were out of stock in the size we required. The attendant, however, was very helpful and please. At 13:41, the manager (I assumed this was his role as he was concluding paperwork at the pay point) said to us that we needed to finish up as the close closes soon. He then came from to us and shook his head as there were a few pairs of shoes out that we had just tried on my son. Feeling the pressure of being unwanted I hurried my husband up and we took the closest pair that fitted. The only reason I did this and just walk out was that I did not want to have my son in tears as we had promised him takkies for his birthday. We paid at 13:48. At that point some other customers walked out and the Manager rudely motioned to the attendant to close the doors. I paid and said thank you. The demeanour of the manager during the time of payment was rude and dismissive. Once the sale was concluded he did not say thank you or greet goodbye. There is zero customer service orientation with this individual. I said to my husband that we must make a point to go to Takkie Town ever again. I am sharing in hope that this person is coached. I added a pic of my receipt, the individual signed where the manager needs to sign.
Recommendation: Run customer service training for your managers. If the person has been trained I suggest replacing him with someone that actually cares about your brand and store.

I made a layby at makhado crossing takkie town, round about april and I forgot it. I only saw the slip while going though my paperwork and found out it has expired when I went back to the store to get a refund they told me I will not get my money back but a voucher when I asked them why a voucher coz I payed cash an will like to get my money bk they refused to refund me back my money. Customer service / puma tekkies damaged
I bought a pair of Puma's a year ago at Tekkie Town, The one tekkie's heel look it is coming loose from the upper side, which is unacceptable, I have 4 pairs and this never happened. I took it with the slip in box to Tekkie Town Tygervalley, on Monday the 9th of October. I spoke to the manager on duty, Marius. He said he will get in contact with head office and get back to me. After a week I went back, and he said he is still waiting. It is now 3 weeks and I haven't heard a word. This is unacceptable!

Unhelpful, ridiculous and horrid. That sums up my experience at Tekkie Town pavilion.
I purchased a Nike t-shirt on Sunday (06 August 2023) and went to exchange for a smaller size on Tuesday (08 August 2023) with the original receipt/docket and price tag attached. When I was trying the t-shirt on, a little bit of my lipstick rubbed onto the inner neckline. For that reason they refused to do an exchange for me. Furthermore they made me wait over 20 minutes for the manager to come of which he didn't and I got fed up waiting and had to leave. I find this absolutely ridiculous as I would like to know what happens when people try on the garments in the shop and their make up gets onto it and the don't end up purchasing the item?

I am very disappointed that I cannot do an exchange just because I lost a slip. Why are they taking our Identity numbers if they cannot use them as proof in their history books?
Worst of all they were keep on promising to do an exchange since 1 of July and an item was bought on the 20 of June.

I spoke to their Area Manager I cannot recall his name, and ended up calling the customer service I spoke to Bongani and Chantelle but they do not seems to resolve the problem.
School bag
Takkie town at elim mall. We complained about how unhappy we are with the bag. And want a refund they told us we have to wait till someone makes a purchase cash so they can refund us. A how crazy is that my question was how do they give someone change when that person buys cash. Then they gave us attitude and gave us our bag back and say we should wait till someone buy.

I visited the store on Sunday 25 June 2023 to purchase a pair of sneakers with my Pep Account card, however the shop assistant told me that the store does not accept the card as payment. I left the store and went around to pep home, pepstores, ackermans, dunns in the same mall to ask i if tekkie town accept the card and everyone else told me that they should. I left the store upset because i waisted uber money to tekkie town and back without the sneakers and the waised my time coz sunday was my only offday to shop. Who is reimbursing my uber money and my time? I then called the store on tuesday and complained however the store manager implied its not true and couldnt answer my question.
You can never lose a customer and a sale over such stupid behaviour, what form of training does the store assitant have if he does not know they are suppose to accept the pep account as a form of payment. Tekkie town is situated in a mall selling items that sportscente, totalsports ect sells and they just lose a sale and customer. How many customers turned away over the same thing? I then purchased the sneakers at sportcene with a Foschini card! The sportscene cashier knew to accept the foschini card as payment howcome tekkie town staff doesnt know to take pep account card as payment? No business can afford such unproffessional behaviour these days.

TurboAnt x7 electric scooter
I order this scooter online and I got delivered on 6th june 2023 and file a returned on 11 th june due to its dangers like one day there was an emergency siren was started its break was not good and bad quality as well. They are not accepting return and asking me for the the charge of restocking fee of 25 percent plus shipping cost. Also CS people was so rude and he arrgued to me a lot and harassed me mentally just for return ghat I dnt like the product due to dangerous siren sound and quality issue.
Desired outcome: I want my full refund and please save all the customers who are exploited by the company for their return policy. I don’t feel save while driving this scooter.
I'm complaining about a sales person
At 17:20 myself and my wife we entered tekkie town Humansdorp and we browsed for like 5 minutes looking for the right sneaker and no one came to assist us and after a while of browsing at the store one young man with green eyes and a top fade haircut who refused to give me his name, instead of asking us if we need assistance, he asked if are we buying because if they cash out they won't be able to assist us and mind that we were already inside, so I answered him and told him that yes we are buying and he replied and said "we should make it quick" I was so shocked when he told us that as it was insulting because I would have understood if he said they are going to give us an extra 15 minutes so that we can finish buying and this particular young sales person even told us to do what ever we want to do, he was very unpleasantly rude which makes me wonder how many other customers are treated the we were treated by him and this kind of behaviour will result to loss of sales, to conclude all of this I must admire the other guy as he assisted us kindly after this incident. Please see into this matter.
Hush Puppies. Mens shoes
On the 6 of December bought Hush puppies at your store in Vredenburg. On the 14.12.2022 return to store due to elastic came loose at side of shoe… They insist that we leave the shoes with them for H/Office decides for what to do. . Exchange or what… We are very disappointed because I need that shoes . Have to drive back to Langebaan where we live. Without any assistance to solve the problem immediately. Hi my name is Zanele Mlambo. I went to tekkietown in escourt today on 18/11/2022 I bought a pair of tekkies i did fit in the store . But they give me the one on the box . When I reach home I found out that they gave me size 5 and 6. So I want to know how I'm gonna wear different sizes because it's not my fault. I did drive for 98kms from Bergville to escourt. I want to know whose gonna pay for my petrol to go back there because of your staff bad customer service. I'm not happy at all I don't think I will go there again I will rather go to another town.

I visited Tekkie town Moletlane/Zebediela on Sunday @ 11h00 from Johannesburg, I was attending a wedding & wanted to buy my daughter an all star. However i found a lady & a guy who refused to go & fetch tekkies for me but instead was told to wait until one of them is free because they are short staffed & it was not their problem that they are short staffed. By the way the guy just standing was the one suppose to fetch the shoes, he even told me if I cant wait for him i can rather go somewhere.

Return of damage sneakers in less than 30 days
On the 28 April 2022 I paid full for my laybe at ilanga mall tekkie town. I noticed damage on Sketchers and took it back on the 3 June 2022. I was told that they can't help with slip I told them that I can give bank statements as proof. At first I was denied the chance later told to bring statements. I did then I was told head office will decide if I should be refunded, and I questioned the issue of deciding as I was entitled to another pair of shoes or refund. On the 6 June 2022 I received a call in the morning and told that I can come to the shop to buy within 72hrs 🙄. On the 7 June I then went to the shop wanted to buy only has 1 pair of the shoes that I wanted and didn't want to use the other money for laybe. I was told if I had a slip they were going to refund my money. I went to look for the slip in my car and gave it to them. I was asked for a credit card and told them I do not own one only have debit card. I had to wait for an hour for a manager to come assist me. On arrival she Eva Khoza did not bother to apologize. She just told me that they have no cash to give out and ask if I will take voucher. I told them due to the type of service experienced I would not opt for a voucher and I my R1700. I am still in the shop at 13h00. I have asked from my employer to go to the shop to sort this out but now hours of work is lost and I work in white river this shop is in Nelspruit. Service is very disgusting how can a business operate without cash flow or float. I will never buy from them again as most shoes are not genuine and don't want to refund customer or give best customer service. Management lack customer skills and empathy.
Desired outcome: I want my money and driving back and forth with hours work lost due to incompetent staff be compensated.

Good Morning,
I paid for 2 pairs Grey puma Tekkies, Our Store in Middelburg Mpumulanga didn't have so they found 2 pairs at the Groblersdal store,
Paid in full and the lady said it will take 7 to 9 working days,
I received one pair after 14 working days, The other pair they forgot to send, Really dont know how you can't read 2 PAIRS? BUT anyway When they finally send the other pair they send it to the wrong Store,
Everytime I get to the store the lady just keep on telling me she can't do anything or I Can't contact anyone to get my pair of tekkies, THAT IS PAID IN FULL
This is really unacceptable and really inconvenient and they are busy wasting my time,

Bad customer service
Called on two outlets in two different Nambian towns, both stores unable to handle defective product as both store managers were not in the store. Got sent away & asked to await manager. 1 week lapsed despite having numerous email communication with head office in SA & the brand manufacturer who gave assurance that it will be sorted, nothing happened.

Soccer boots
I am disappointed at the service rendered to me at Tekkie Town Alberton and even head office too. I had to return the soccer boots but was told it was worn and I returned it because my son was sponsored with new pair. And this is still new and has not been worn except when he fit them. But they refused to return it but I am talking this matter on higher authority level.
Very disappointed.
