As soon as I signed up, borrowing club was on top of it. Joseph M. was helpful and made sure I was informed every step of the way. He made sure to apply to the loans that fit my budget and would accept my application. I was accepted right away and just took a few days. I would highly recommend. If you have a busy schedule, they can put the time in for you to look for the right loan.

AMAZING SERVICE! I have never in my life recieved such outstanding customer care and attention to detail. My agent, Adam L., was more than superb. His care, thoughtfulness, and overall committment was beyond my expectations. He kept me informed, smiling, and most importantly was able to take care of my need for a consolidation loan. The Borrowing Club was able to get me the best deal from the best company to fit my needs (which Adam advised me through the entire easy process). I have been trying to figure out a way to get my debt consolidated with loans. It is hard to navigate through all of these companies offering loans, who then turn around and turn down my applications when I apply. I worked with Jim, and he was amazing. He knows all the different companies, and how to get you the offers you need. If you have let your debt get away from you, but have the means to pay through a consolidated loan, I highly recommend using this company. He did so much work for me, when I would have given up myself. I am now able to get my debt under control. Thanks Jim!

The representative at the Borrowing Club was very professional and quick to respond. She was also extremely polite and willing to help in any way she could. I definitely recommend working with her as she made this process very simple and stress-free. The only thing I would recommend to The Borrowing Club is to create a document that shows the list of lenders, monthly payments, and interest rates so consumers can compare their options easier. I personally prefer to have documentation before making a decision. On the contrary, the representative also made it easier for me to understand even without the visual documentation! I highly recommend her!

Wow! Ilan provided the best customer service I have ever experienced and I have already recommended The Borrowing Club to friends and family because of Ilan's impact. He was patient, informative and so extremely polite and professional. Ilan has really raised the bar for customer service to me. All companies need employees like Ilan! This gentleman should be the standard for customer service. I worked in corporate marketing and sales for three years. We utilized a service survey through a system called Medallia. Customers would post glowing reviews of salesmen and we could occasionally grow numb to the surveys. I extremely hope this survey has an impact because this gentleman DEFINITELY deserves a raise or something of the equivalent. I would envy the competition with a business that has Ilan!

Yes, they "helped" me get a loan; a loan I could have gotten on my own. This is a middleman company. They don't do anything extra by way of improving your chances of getting approved. They don't have deals with lending institutions that the general public can't access. It's all a bit scammy; especially when the agent tells you not to say anything to the lender about using their service because lenders don't like dealing with brokers. I realize everything is legal and I wasn't lied to and I understood how they work. I just regret using The Borrowing Club (aka Nationwide Loan Consultants) because paying 10% of a loan to a company who did what I could do on my own is a bit steep. ***, the agent I dealt with, was professional, no complaints about him. However, I just feel stupid having used this company. Caveat emptor

I would have rated no stars if possible. On July 19th I applied for a loan. I received a text from *** stating to call & go over loan options. I was provided TBC 844 number to return his call & was provided a prefunding #. The representative who answered tried to have me redo the whole application process again even when I provided her with ***'s name & the prefunding number. On Monday I get a call from Johan from TBC who is in their debt consolidation group. I was perplexed why I'm getting a call from a debt consolidation group if I'm approved from a loan since I never requested to be contacted by a debt consolidation group & was given the impression I had been approved for a loan. On Jan 20th I spoke to *** in TBC customer service group & explained the situation. She transferred me to an individual who was going to connect me with a manager. The manager was on a call & I was told I would receive a call back from the manager within 15 minutes. No call from a manager was returned. On July 21st I again spoke to *** who shared with me that when she pulled my credit report on Experian it was 629 which met the requirements for a loan. *** then mentioned that someone else who the application had been referred to had pulled my credit report in TransUnion & it was 587 which didn't qualify for a loan & would explain the process of getting referred to a debt consolidation. This company has huge issues providing accurate information & properly communicating with customers. In the last 24 hours I have had 6 phone calls from non legitimate lenders from FL & CA who received my information more than likely from TBC. These folks obviously don't have their act together. Save yourself the time & trouble & borrow elsewhere!

Today, I applied for a loan with The Borrowing Club after receiving a letter in the mail. I'm in desperate need of a way to lower my interest rates on my current loans so I was really excited to explore this option. The application process was quick and easy. I got a call from Krista or Kristin Mccoy the same day. She informed me I was unfortunately not approved but said they have other debt resolution options. When I expressed I was frustrated with the company because I was under the impression that the letter I received was a pre-approval, Krista curtly interrupted me, and advised in a less than pleasant tone, that the letter does NOT say pre-approval, but instead says, "pre-selected". I'm still frustrated about being denied so I say that the wording in the letter is intentionally trying to trick people into applying, Krista rudely interrupted me and said, "We have better things to do than try to trick people, I'll get your file closed, good bye". And disconnects in my face before I say literally anything else. I call her back right away, she doesn't answer her direct line two times, I believe she forwarded the calls. Then on the third call she answers, I say, "Hi Krista, I just had a few more questions, is there a main customer service line or do you have a supervisor?" she says something along the lines of she is one of the most senior reps, they are a small office so basically there isn't anyone else I can speak with but she just thinks it's "wild" that I think they're trying to trick people. This time I interrupted her, and told her that I also work in customer service taking phone calls, and it was not okay at all for her to rudely interrupt me as a potential customer, and that there are ways to de escalate situations when customers are frustrated and interrupting them and disconnected basically in their face is not it. Maybe she needs to be trained in call control when a customer is annoyed by receiving bad news that they were not approved. I wasn't being a bad customer, I wasn't raising my voice at her, I was unsatisfied with being denied and all she did was make the situation 10 times worse. It was a recorded line so I hope someone can listen to our interactions and see how your company can provide better quality customer service in the future. Because the whole process was smooth and easy up until then.

But then I didn't get any good offers (one was 31% interest, can you believe it?), so I talked to someone and said I wanted to check out other options like a home equity line of credit. But then they got all crazy on the phone and said if I did that, I could never sell my house. It was super intense and made me feel really uncomfortable. And now, because I took a loan for my biz from some other company that the Borrowing Club didn't even introduce me to, they wanna charge me over ten grand. Like, seriously? This is supposed to be a company that helps people get out of debt, but they're just making it worse. Crazy, man.

If you are serious about eliminating revolving CC debt, I would recommend talking to TBC's agent, ours was Chelsea. They will find a bank that is willing to take on your debt with a set payoff plan.
Marc K took care of me and helped get funded for consolidation of my debts. It was a fairly painless process and he was there to answer any questions I had throughout the process. 10 out of 10 would reccomend if you're serious about consolidating and eliminating revolving debt.
