Unreliable
I am so disappointed in this service.
I always check everything twice, so that's why one week before the event I called BusBank and asked them to confirm my booking and all the details. They did.
I was also given a driver's phone number just in case. And it happened. It arrived 50 minutes late. I used the phone number, but the driver never answered. When he eventually showed up he said he was lost. And didn't even apologized. Letting people down is not professional. At least.
charter buses
Absolutely terrible experience. Would give 0 stars if I could. Owner was predatory with 0 concern for customer service. Coaches that were sent were not luxury at all, but sent from a town 3 hours away and very old and smelly. (When we asked beforehand to see the buses since this was the first time working with them, we were refused.) Drivers were incompetent and rude, yelled at our visiting international guests for trying to load their suitcases in the bottom of the bus, yet refused to help with luggage for liability reasons. Seemed like a lose/lose. Driver was loud and inappropriate, honking the horn unnecessarily and expressing road rage. When we gave feedback about the experience, owner was defensive with 0 remorse or regard to the customer relationship. The only satisfactory experience out of the whole thing was that we were refunded for the drivers' behavior (as we should have been). As this company is based out of Chicago, I've learned my lesson to never try to do business with someone who is not on the ground. Even if the owner was not present, the least he could have done was be polite and apologetic instead of trying to justify and explain. Needless to say, will never use this company again and never recommend it.
Fraud and cheating
This company advertises SAFETY and talk about how good they were with helping out Katrina, but never mention that they were the broker who booked the bus that blew up in Dallas during Hurricane Rita. So much for their 5 Star Guarantee!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:

I work for a company based in New York City called Pioneer. Our company provides free and low-cost transportation from New York City to the New York State prisons for women and children who have loved ones who are incarcerated. On father's day we did a special that would have sent almost 400 children who have incarcerated parents upstate to see them for...
