This is really bad business
I made three long distance calls, got no answers or wrong answers and they hung up on me. I order Bras on 4/14/11. Was never told they were on back order. After 5 weeks I called and they told me of back order and it would be 4 to 6 weeks. The next say I recieved email that they had been sent and gave me Fedex tracking number. After 10 days I checked Fedex and USPS, they do not have this tracking number. The only anwers I get from Genie Bra is they have been shipped. They have charged my checking account and I was told it would take 3 to 6 monthes to check this out and I would have to make a complaint to get a refund from them, however they put me on hold and after 5 minutes they hung up on me. I would like some kind of answer as how I get my Bras or my money back? This is really bad business.
Overcharged me
Tsp Genie Bras overcharged me for a bra that I’ve ordered from them. Instead of $59.00 I was charged $86.00. I complained to them that it is pure overcharge but they denied me in refund.

I ordered the Genie Bra by phone after a T.V. Commercial. The bras arrived & I discovered that the free bra is torn in one place. I phoned a few times over a period and was told that no one is around to handle my complaint as the persons in charge are not in and no one is around to arrange delivery. I was also told that it's not necessary for me to return the defective bra. When I asked for a Return Authorization number; I was given my Customer number (above) and was further advised that they shall contact me within a week by which time the 30 days period for returning the defective bra would be over. Would they send a replacement to me then and not cite that the 30 day period is over and that we did not return the defective bra to them as their "Return Policy " conditions have not been met ?
I am not happy with the way my complaint is being handled. I expect a replacement "free bra" to be sent to me within the period that you need to process my order, failing which I will make sure that my Face Book & Twitter friends know about your staff's treatment of customers after you have earned our money. I will definitely post the photograph of the defective bra on Face Book to show the whole world that my complaint is genuine and that you guys are only interested in earning our money and not interested in looking after the customers' interests. I await your reply and my replacement.

I purchased a pkg of the Genie Bras at my local Walmart. I looked at the back of the pkg to see what size I should get ( I am a 44 C and wear a size 18 blouse} The pkg said I should get a 2X but not trusting the fit, I got a 3X instead. When I got home and tried it on I was very disappointed. My breasts were smashed down, the band underneath turns under and it does nothing for back fat- and I do not have that much. As others have said, this is good as a sleep bra but unless you are small breasted I would not advise it for you.
I am glad they sell these tv products at other stores as I have read the horror stories of those who ordered by mail and paid horrendous shipping and handling fees. Not a good buy for the plus size !
returned but no refund
ordered this product on recommendation of family member. Ordered in July. Not received til October (2011) . tried them...didn't like them at all. really no good for anyone with large breasts. no support. Tried to call them...they do not respond. found e mail for them via compaint board. started sending e mails. Finally got responses late October. They could not find my account, then only(wante me to exchange them for another size). I said
no and requested to return them. In November they finally gave me an address to return them . I did so the same day. No response.
Sent e mail and of course they denied getting the product back. Sent them the USPS tracking number. They still deny getting the product. I have placed a complaint with my credit card company with all e mails etc. and informed them of this. I warned the company
I would compalin on internet boards etc.
I think this is one of the sleaziest companies I have ever dealt with. They put you off, avoid responding, provide little assistance and
generally do not ever want to give any money back. Their product is not suitable for most breast sizes except small.

Order not received
On the 27th Nov. I ordered a set of 3 Genie Bras. During the process of ordering I got the message that the "Order was Pending" and that I would get an e-mail confirmation of the order. I did not get the e-mail confirmation so put in another order. Same situation ocurred so I ordered a 3rd time. My Visa has been credited 3 times . These are the dates :

don't call them [protected] - the number is directed through India...it is a looped message "our customer service is busy helping other customers - please wait and we will answer your call in sequence" it plays over and over and over...don't do it...call your credit card company and get them to help you.
Call your credit card company and dispute the charges...give them all the details - they may help in getting the money back for you.

I ordered my size (1X) in the Genie Bra. I realized the size was too tight, so I ordered the next size but realized I was going to need the larger size so I ordered the 3 lace ones in the larger (3X), 'cause I thought they were nicer. Well, I got the lace lace once and realized these were also too tight, so called to reordered the original 3 (plus 3) in their largest size. It only took three (3) MONTHS to get them. Their largest size went less than half way around my chest when I held it up to me without stretching it. I wear a 1X. That's the size in my local stores that I buy, and sometimes I can get away with a "normal" size 18. Well, I called customer service and was told I could return all the bras for a full refund. So I returned 12 bras. Then I got an email telling me to return the original three plus three bras. They were already returned and received, so I called. The girl told me I wasn't eligible for a return on the first three lacy bras, but after talking with her, and telling her I'd already returned them, she said she had done a refund on them, however, I have yet to see that. They charged $10 on each set of three bras for "shipping and handling." Nice to make $10 to stuff bras into a plastic bag, then into a manila envelope and put an address on them! I am now having problems with pain in my chest, and I'm sure it's because I tried to wear those small elastic bands around my chest. Nope, I'm not the least bit happy with this company, and since they're not open on weekends, I have to wait (again) till Monday to call them. I was trying to give them time to refund all (well most of) my money. In all, even if I manage to get the last refund, I will have paid $40 for nothing! At this point, I've paid $69 for nothing but a lot of pain around where these things were squishing my chest! Thanks for nothing, and most of the searches for Genie Bra lead to their own ads that they have fooled the search engines into listing. Took me quite a while to find this outlet for a bit of my satisfaction to hope other larger women don't get fooled by these adds. I'm thinking the one large woman they had in the TV advertisement must have worn it for about 1/2 hour before she realized it was cutting off the circulation half way down her chest!

No support at all
After a very convincing telecomercial geared towards women wearing Size D bras, I decided to order some.They are less supportive than your most comfortable sport bra. You might as well not be wearing a bra at all! No support whatsoever. The shipping charge was $25.98 for bras they might weigh 3 ounces? What a scam! When you buy you have to listen to around 10 products being pushed by a salesman before they process your order. I am returning them this afternoon and I have to pay to return them. What a rip off! Who else can I complain to?

I went on line to order the Genie bra and filled out the info needed, then decided not to order because of the $12.99 S&H.

The Genie Bra. I received an email stating that no more adjustments will be made regarding my order other that the S&H
already credited, and that is all the adjustment I wanted. To begin with I did not order padded bras, I wear 38H in a regular
bra, I ordered the XL/1X size that I wear in tops, as instructed. I was to receive a set of pads for "nipple hiding" for $1.99
instead of the regular price. Wow all this and free shipping I thought that I couldn't go wrong! After talking to the "customer
service" rep I find out that because they had given me the credit I could not return them, that I am stuck with them. They
offered an exchange, I tried to explain the size I needed did not stretch enough to fit my breasts and if I ordered a bigger
size it would be too big and would ride up and offer no support what so ever. I even talked to a supervisor and he said
that to his knowledge there was never a free shipping special offered. I know that I did not imagine the pop up, and I
felt that this was an up and up deal. If it wasn't so, why did I receive the credit? I should have been told that I would
have no refund expectations because of this, not email me something after the fact, that again misleading.
My next email will be to the BBB with my complaint about the misleading ad and also
about the customer service I received when I called to return the product the "gentleman" was all but yelling at me. I
got tired of hearing what they were saying and wanted to be heard so I talked over him!

if you watch the commercial, you can see the pads the models wear under the bra. these do not show on the mannequins or other pictures of the bras. i have seen so many complaints about this company i plan to cancel my order first thing monday.
I looked closely at the models on the commercial and saw that they had inserts under the bra. When I watched further, and looked closely at the mannequins and other pictures of the bras, there was NO INSERT. I believe the complaints and plan to cancel my order first thing Monday. Size chart is WAY off...I am a 36DD and ordered 1X...way too small and tight. Their site shows FREE RETURNS. I tried calling and they denied that THEIR ad says that. I went ahead and shipped them back (for $16) .NEVER AGAIN! And the "pads" that come with them are so thin they buckle over, the so called "no roll band" actually DOES roll up. Waste of money, no matter what the cost!
I purchased the cami shaper and it is super comfortable. BUT, I purchased it at...of all places, Grocery Outlet Bargain Market. I thought I would look online and see what else they might have. I found some stuff that looked nice and chose 9 items and placed them in my cart. When I tried to check out, some of the buttons I clicked kept jumping into different locations so it was hard to actually CLICK on them. Then when I finally got all of my payment info entered, it just kept acting like I hadn't entered my card info in. I sent a private Facebook msg to the company and their suggestion was to use a different browser and try a different credit card. This seems a bit odd since I shop online a LOT and don't have trouble with web page ordering or my credit card...to that sent up a red flag...then a lot of complaints appear on the FB page about not getting what was ordered, or long waits to only receive part of the order. After that, I cleared my cart and decided I will only purchase Genie products when I stumble across them in stores (Like Wal Mart...or Grocery Outlet) where I can return them without hassle, not wait for partial shipments or have trouble with customer service. A few years back I bought the Genie Bra and ended up getting rid of it...it WOULD have been super comfortable IF, they had added some tacky gel like they do to shapeware that would keep the wide band in place. Every time I moved it rolled. If it stayed in place I would have been happy. So far, I really like the shaper cami...not for shaping because, honestly, it doesn't...you get more of an athletic bra uni-boob look but for everyday wear at home or under bulkier shirts, it's very comfortable. I will just have to go back to Grocery Outlet to buy a second one rather than trying to use the website...something is wrong with their customer service to have so many people with similar problems and to have the fully satisfied customer be the exception.
I have no complaints .I ordered 12 and received them in 7 days..They fit perfectly. So I just ordered 6 milana lace bras..

I was thinking of ordering a Genie bra, especially since the website was having a nice sale, BUT I tried using online chat to ask a simple question about their return policy and all I got was a rude person who didn't care to answer me! She kept giving me cut and paste answers that didn't answer my direct question of "What is your return and refund policy?" and "What is the processing and handling fee?" She refused to answer the question and would disappear for 20 minutes at a time. Now, after I have read these complaints, I will NOT order from Genie at all. It sounds like they are a rip off company with a terrible product. That's a shame because there are a lot of women out there who have difficulty finding bras that fit properly and comfortably. Your sizing is inconsistent. The quality of your fabric is inconsistent. Your customer service is no existent. VERY UNHAPPY without any resolution.
My only complaint is that the size chart is very inaccurate. I fit perfectly into a Medium according to the genie size chart, but when I tried it on, it was way too small :( I got on the customer service chat to see if someone could help me get the correct sizing, his name was Al, and he did not even try to help me figure this out. He didnt apologize for the mix up or make me feel comfortable with this situation at all. He just copy and pasted the directions to ship it back and off he went. Im so disappointed as I like to get mushy with people I work with haha So anyway, on that not I am returning the bra never to shop at Genie again.
I received my two Genie Bras, Nude L zipper front. I really like one of them but the second one the zipper broke on first try. Return Hassle + Outrageous Shipping $
On 9/15/11 I contacted this company to obtain my RA# (which is your acct#) in order to return these bras. I had waited for weeks to receive them and since I didn't think they were coming, had purchased from a dept store. These bras appear to be nothing more than an expensive sports bra. I was hassled when I had to contact Customer Care to retrieve my RA# (a foreign MAN that was very difficult to understand)- save yourself the trouble and just print the return from from the website and enter your acct#, which is your RA#. I was informed that not only do I have to pay the return shipping charges but I will not be refunded the $31.97 I was charged to ship the order initially. This is highway robbery. As soon as I am done posting this I will be filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau and I suggest you do the same, if you have a similar experience. Note, the return shipping address is: 500 Returns Road. That should tell you something. Yikes!

How can this company stay in business? They get their money by charging a processing fee that is the amount they charged for two payments, and their mailing cost. They don't have to actually sell any bras once you order them.I consider them a scam operation. All advertising should stop allowing them to be on their TV stations, and on the Internet.
Will not answer phone for return authorization code
I order 6 Genie Bras after being assured that I could return them if the fit was not right. I ordered the bras based on their directions to order based on my shirt size, but when I received the bras they were at least 2 sizes too small. I have called their non toll-free number many times without being able to talk to anyone. The wait time is always 10 - 15 minutes, first due to the hurricane and then I guess just because. I finally stayed on the line today to wait the time required and the only result was a message saying that all their operators were busy, after which I was transferred to voice mail asking me to leave a message. Before I could say two words the call was disconnected. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Buruea.

I received my Geni Bra, which came from the USA. Tried it on and did not fit like it should. Rolled up under the bust. Now, I was to send it back but would have cost me more for a refund. Today I get a bill from UPS for $31.49...apparently they didn't tell me that duty was extra and also brokerage and government Charges. I'm fuming mad and would not recomment the Geni Bra nor the company to anyone.

I completely agree with these complaints. I bought my Genie bra at Bed Bath and Beyond in a package of two for $19.99 and I am so glad I did NOT buy them from the infomercial. Although I found the "large size" to be comfortable, they are totally NOT SUPPORTIVE and are only good for sleeping and lounging. The infomercial stated something about "perky look"...NO WAY! (unless you are 20 years old and naturally still perky!) Unless you want a comfy 'sleep bra' then I would STAY AWAY!

I just got my set of Genie bras. I agree that they are comfy for lounging or sleeping but supportive is the furthest thing from the truth! I wear a B cup and when I put on the bra I look like more of an A cup---very disappointed! I will keep them only because I don't want the hassle of returning and because I will wear them due to health issues and having difficulty with hooking my old bra. Hard lesson learned!
No support - Shipping/Customs charges same price as bra
Wish I would have found this message board prior to placing my order. These bras have NO SUPPORT at all. And as if the shipping and handling charges of approx. $37.00 weren't enough, I had to pay an additional $30.95 when the package arrived at my door for duties and taxes. RIP OFF!. I am not very happy to say the least! I am trying to find someone with a smaller chest to sell these too rather than return then and lose almost $70.00 in shipping charges. Very disappointed!

Very unusual, i had a friend who ordered them here in Australia and swears by them. One thing i noticed was that most of these complaints seem to be the people that got the Buy 3 and get three free just pay postage, where my friend actually didnt even see this offer and got the 3 for $79 and if she wanted another 3 would cost 30 odd dollars extra. Maybe a difference from where you buy it, i dont really know.

I also believed the infomercials for the Genie Bra and ordered the Large size pursuant to their sizing chart to find that this size was too small. I called customer service and they sent me a 2X size. When these bras were received I tried them on and found the advertised product was not what I received. I am a 44C and there was no support, the band was narrow and rolled up and the insert inside the cup kept slipping. I returned both sizes in early August. I called on August 22nd inquiring about my refund. I was told it would be expedited and would take 2 to 3 days. I called back on the 24th and was told it had been referred to a supervisor and I should have the refund by the first of the next week (or the 29th-30th of the month). I still have not recieved the refund so I called again today. I was told that since their offices had been closed for a week, due to a hurricane (which was only a category 1), none of the refunds had been processed. The lady I spoke with said she had no idea when the refund would be processed. I can't imagine an office being closed completely because of a category 1 storm -- this company would never make it if they were in Florida, Louisiana or Texas. They don't usually even close for category 2 or 3 storms. Anyway, I wish I had found this website before I wasted $90.00 on something that did not live up to its claims. Oh, well, lesson learned! Does anyone know how to contact the president of the company?

Misleading advertising/fraudulent practices/no communication/unauthorized charges
What a mistake this was. Thankfully, I caught it relatively early, after reading numerous reviews online warning consumers NOT to buy from this company. I had already placed my order, but after reading about all the hassles everyone else endured, I decided it wasn't worth it, and to cancel my order entirely.
I called my credit card company to explain what had happened, but that I didn't yet see a charge on my credit card. This alarmed me somewhat, since I had given my card to them at the time of purchase, I expected it to show up in two business days. They informed me that Mixdirect had placed a "pending charge" on hold toward my card to the tune of $90.15 Canadian funds. Let me just reiterate that there has been no charge against my card at this point, only a pending charge, which actually works out in my favour. I assume it's their tactic to hold the charge until they ship the product. At this point, however, had no idea if I was being immediately charged, billed, COD or what have you, as there is NO INFORMATION available after ordering. No time-frame for delivery and - get this- only an ESTIMATED total. They can charge whatever amount they damn well please, apparently.
After reading countless negative reviews, I both emailed and called Mixdirect service center to cancel my order and to inform them not to charge my card, lest I charge them with fraud. Don't believe that garbage about not being able to reverse a charge. My credit card company informed me that I am not liable for any charges made to my card, since I had already contacted the company with my request for cancellation. The quicker you contact your credit card company, the better. If I may quote the customer service agent when I expressed my concern about being charged regardless of cancellation, "We got your back." :) Music to my ears, let me tell you.
So, ladies... or gents. Solution time:
If you've already made the same mistake I did, call your credit card company ASAP and explain the situation. They will help you out - they want to keep your business. If you attempted to cancel and Genie Bra/Mixdirect or any of their affiliates has told you they can't, OR if you've already received your product, DO NOT take no for an answer. Take the package to the post office and ask them to return to sender. If you've opened your box, re-seal the product and return to sender. Call the company (Mixdirect) and explain to them that you are not satisfied with their product, nor their service, and demand to be repaid in full as per the 60-day money back guarantee they have hidden in the bowels of their website. If they refuse to cooperate or tell you someone will call you back, explain that you wish to speak to a supervisor immediately. If they still insist they can't help or that no one is available OR if they try to bargain with the price of the refund or try to give you a deal on shipping, contact your credit card company immediately and explain the entire situation. Keep all emails, records and confirmation numbers, as well as the times and dates you contacted both companies. More than likely, your credit card company will take care of the rest.
This all boils down to misdirection. Misleading commercials, website, ordering methods and return policy. As a consumer, you have a right to know how much is being charged on your credit card BEFORE it is actually charged. The fact that they conduct business in this manner is sketchy and underhanded, and boarders on fraud. I am writing to the BBB about this incident, as I would prefer to put this company out of business.
I don't care how amazing your product is... if you can't provide decent customer service, it's useless.

Contact your credit card company immediately and tell them to reverse the charge because you believe you were scammed. If they require proof, you may have to fax any correspondence you've had with that horrendous company to your credit card company. I went to my bank, which is where my credit card is issued, and they can do it securely. They reversed my charge (it takes a while... I waited a month or two, I think) and now this company is sending me a "request" to pay with a different credit card. It isn't a threat or a legal request, therefore they are hoping you will simply do as they ask for fear of legal complications. DON'T buy into their garbage. MIxDirect is, from what I can tell, a company that uses loopholes and language barrier (I never got ahold of anyone, but someone with an EXTREMELY thick french accent left a weird message for me on my phone) to confuse and con you into buying from their shady company. Maybe after enough of us do this, they'll go out of business. Best of luck.

I live in Toronto and ordered my Genie Bras from the website. On their website they have a link to redirect you to 'Official Canadian Genie Bra TM Website'. When I got my order from some 'MixDirect' company in Canada, the bra's were too small, I called customer support to make an exchange to bigger size, Genie Bra US had no idea about MixDirect. I called MixDirect and their customer service.But there is just recorded voice message, asking you to hold the phone.I waited10-15 min but no one picks up the phone. I tried again and again .

I ordered these on the 2nd July and have not received them as yet. When I went through to the customerstatus site it said that it did not have an order. I was wondering how I can contact these people to get my money back. Or when the Bras will be arriving.

I ordered one flex-able hose on 11/8/12 order # [protected] and they sent me a bill. I only want one flex hose and I was supposed to receive 1 flex hoses and pay $19.95and receive another one free but have to pay postage for both of $7.95 for each. I had ordered a Health Master on May 9th 2011 and it was shipped on May 10th 2011 (exactly 5 months ago) I was using it and it stopped working (the motor went) I had called the customer Service Center at [protected] and someone that was hard for me to understand asked me to push reset button and try other things to get it going (I did all that yesterday and knew the motor was gone). He said that the motor was bad and he would send me a new motor but it would cost me $29.99 for shipping, so I gave him my credit card number to pay for shipping. When I told my husband he wanted me to tell them I was going to send it back for a refund. We have had other things that went bad and we never had to pay for them to send another one (like a computer hard drive, they also sent a return sticker and box to send the bad one back). WHY SHOULD YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING AND HANDLING FOR A PRODUCT THAT FAILED AND 5 MONTHS LATER AND COST $200.00, NOW THE THING COSTED $230.00 AND THEY ADVERTISE A LIFETIME WARRENTY ON MOTOR.
NOT FAIR WHAT A RIP OFF.
