Ordered stuff from them three weeks ago as well, i have received no shipping info or package. After they charged me for the order they completely ignore my emails. Am I being ripped off here?

I recently ordered the black pirate queen dress to be my wedding dress. When I placed the order, the dress was pictured with a purple bodice and the description stated "shirred and elasticized around the bodice." I read through the entire description and not once did it mention the bodice being sold separately, or even give the option on the page. I noticed today when I went to the site, that it's been changed, now it clearly states that it is sold separately and gives you the option on the page. I think it's curious timing if you ask me. The dress itself is $100! It would be worth it if it were made of decent materials, but it's a thin see-through layer of cotton...nothing else! The shipping was RIDICULES! It cost me $12 to get the dress stuffed into a bag and shoved into my mailbox through the USPS! I spoke to a customer service rep for their site who called me a liar because the site was not changed and the best she could do for me is let me send it back so they can refund my shipping costs. This site is not to be trusted, they have grossly over priced product and it's represented falsely. I will be sending the dress back for a full refund of all my shipping costs and the cost of the dress. They should be ashamed of themselves for running a business this way, and I hope in the future they respect thier customers, because I feel terribly disrespected.

Pyramid Collection has the WORST customer service I have EVER encountered...and I mean EVER. I have been trying to get my money back for days now on an item they ran out of. The order opperators insist on just transferring you to some "customer service" number where you will sit on hold for a MINIMUM of 25 minutes. I've had to deal with this 4 times now, and still have not gotten my money back - even after I was assured last week that the funds were being credited back. I am now at the point where I am contacting my credit card company to reverse the transaction. I will NEVER purchase another damn thing from them again and will advise others not to either. Other merchants carry the same, if not similar items and we consumers should not have to put up with this kind of crap.

Pyramid collection is married to the scam artist shopping essentials otherwise known as MVQ Shopessplus which appears on your credit card. They charge monthly in small amounts so you don't notice you are being charged. Pyramid Collection gives your credit card information to them without your permission. They also never have the items they say they do, they are backordered suddenly after you order it when it was supposedly there, and they ship in such an unreasonable amount of time.

I have ordered from the Pyramid Collection a couple of times in the past several years. You are all right, the items are often not as described/represented, customer service is surly at best, the items are overpriced (both times I found the same thing for less), and returns are a hassle. For now though my beef is that they (and their affiliates - catalog favorites, Nature's jewelry, etc) are continuing to ignore my request to be removed from their mailing database and that I do not give them permission to give or sell any of my personal information for any purpose.
So...to anyone who checks this site here's the physical address for ALL of these associated catalogs:
Potpourri Group Inc
222 Mill Rd
Chelmsford, Massachusetts 01824
United States
[protected] Fax -- [protected]
For future reference, to find out this info...just type whois [put web address here] and hit the Search key. The "whois" record will come up as the first choice on the results list most of the time. I hope this helps.

I recently placed an order by phone. The sales rep made me super nervous, rambling on about getting 15% off this order, and they will be sending me some money vouchers etc. for discounts, etc. Then she said, "you can use those vouchers to your choosing without obligation and if you cancel within 30 days your credit card won't be charged the monthly fee." She also asked for my birth date. I asked her what she needed that for and she said for my protection. I also asked her, "Wait a minute, what do you mean a monthly charge?" She told me, "No need to worry, as long as you cancel within 30 days." After I hung up I became extremely nervous and I'm wondering if I'm going to have to issue a new credit card because of this company. Can somebody give me feedback to this "Gold Card" situation? Are you able to cancel it without further problems?
P.S. I agree, these products are over priced for the quality, but they do have some unique stuff!

I'm hoping what I have to say will help someone. If you wish to avoid being charged for their VIP, put your money on a prepaid vanilla MasterCard gift card and use that after registering on the gift card website. When you go to use the card on pyramid type in your pets name as your first with your actual last and whatever address you use for mailing. This will allow you to see who sold your info AND more importantly the card is not attached to a bank account and if it gets put into their vip system the charges will cancel themselves out because (important here) there is no money left on the card to be billed monthly and MasterCard is pretty good about fighting these types of websites. This is why I only shop with prepaid gift cards (inside the US) and rarely have issues. This coming from a 21 year old paranoid shopper. ^_^ any gift card will do except for reloadable ones because they can keep taking money from you. Vanilla MasterCard has been the best most consistent one I've used so far and I LOVE them especially in this day and age of identity theft.

I had no idea about the extra charges and will certainly be reviewing my bank statements carefully. My complaint is that i paid $80+shipping for a top. It was designed to have mismatched buttons all over it, however not only did it come without half those buttons (only the essential ones not the decorative ones), they were plastic, and came off very easily. I've had to replace most of them and add the ones that were missing. For $80 you would expect it to be metal buttons and have them all there and sewn on well. Also there are places in the top where the sewing caught the fabric next to the seam at an odd crease. While it's not that noticeable, being a person who sews, I would assume that their $80 top would have better craftsmanship. I wanted to buy a lot of stuff from them but I think this one top will be my first and last product from The Pyramid Collection. Such a shame because they have really cool stuff.

I ordered a bedspread from them and when I received it, it looked nothing like the picture (ugly and a little cheap for what you pay for it). I tried to cancel the order for the bed shams that went with it before it shipped and charged, and both of my attempts at contact and cancellation were ignored. I tried to send it back with the return label provided. The post office wanted $20 to send it back! They also don't provide return labels by the way, at all! Then I received something about a VIP thing which I had to cancel as well.. I called and they basically told me they couldn't do anything for me.. Bottom line, they suck. Don't order from them. I'm stuck with expensive, ugly stuff I can't use or send back... And I'm out about $120..

I ordered a dress from them in January it was posted on the 6th Feb I repeatedly asked for a tracking number but they said they do not give tracking numbers to International parcels. Meanwhile with me emailing them every week I finally receive a tracking number mid April and when I checked Australia Post had sent it back as apparently the address was wrong. I emailed and asked for them to send it back to me but no and they have advised me not to order it again. Now I am waiting for my refund which today I have been informed could take weeks for them to receive parcel as it was delivered to New York so that means I am still out of pocket $350 Au and not impressed I will be getting my credit card company to contact them again and if that doesn't work I will be taking it further as I feel even though they sent parcel in the first place both them and Aus post should be held accountable. I left negative feedback on here once before then after a person contacted me by messenger telling me she was going to look into it I retracted my feedback but as I have not heard from her again and nobody at Pyramid Collection wants to help me I will not be taking this one down as I am very dis
appointed in them . That is no way to run a company .
