Wilson's cream caramels 150g
As a treat for my family, I splurged and bought us the 150g box of cream Caramels as a reward for the hard week we have just endured. We were really excited to share out our box only to find that the contents were stale and hard. The taste was still as I remember however the outer layer is hard and detracts from the full enjoyment of the product, especially considering the price paid for them nowadays.

My mother bought tastic rice beginning of July at Shoprite as it was in special. she emptied the rice into her rice container and through away the paper. On 3different days we found glass in the rice. Very upsetting and disturbing to say the least. we have small kids what would of happened if one of them where to swollow the glass? we would like a responded from you guyz please

I have purchased 3 boxes of Banana Instant Oats at Pick and Pay. I have find weevils (bugs) in the packets. I have lodge an complain over 3 weeks ago and still No answer from you as a company. This was also on a special at the time. So I don't know if it was a way to get rid of old stock or was it a problem. I can see on the internet that you have a lot of issues with your products lately but don't seem to care about the customer. Very sad

Black cat chunky peanut butter
We found several stones in our peanut butter. We bought it beginning of May. At first thought it was a peanut that was just hard but found several more stones. Kids aren't very happy because they love the chunky peanut butter but are now afraid to eat it and don't want me to buy black cat anymore.

I bought my bar at shoprite thorntree complex 29 April 2021 only to find out that it has live warms after me nd my son had our bites
Tried taking it back to the store but the date was ohk also package was closed they said its manufacturers fault I had runny stamach aftr eating my son don't even want to eat because he thinks all his food has tht thing all your number do not work

Tastic Rice 2kg
On 8 February 2021 I returned to pick and pay, outspan road in morningside, Sandton, a full 2kg packet of Tastic rice in which there were live insects. The supervisor Thato, replaced the product and also showed her managers and reported to Tiger Brands about the contamination.
She assured me that Tiger would revert to the store promptly.
As of now 28April she has heard nothing about the complaint and she suggests that I also lay a complaint with you, hence this letter.

Beacon red wrapper tv bar chocolate
Today the 07.04.2021, I purchased a TV bar choc from the BP garage in Hammarsdale near Buckman Boulevard street.
The chocolate was stale.
The chocolate stuck to my palet and was oily and gruesome.
I feel so sick now.
This was my favorite chocolate ever.
This is my second episode of buying a stale tv bar from the same garage.

Golden cloud
I found worms in a 2.5kg Golden Cloud wheat flour that I bought from Pick n Pay Willows crossing. I bought this when I was doing my monthly grocery shopping at the end of January.
A week later I wanted to bake, that's when I discovered the worms (I think they are maggots) in the flour. Initially I thought it was just 1 but when I looked closer I saw a bunch of tiny ones moving in the flour.
I contacted Tiger brands informing them about this on the same day (7th of February). I sent them pictures of the packet, the worms, as well as the barcode hoping that would give them as much information as possible to have this resolved.
I kept the packet flour sealed in a plastic bag just in case they would need more details. After not receiving a response from them for a few weeks, I threw the plastic out because I believe it posed a health risk to me and my family.
I then sent a follow up email on the 24th of February - someone called me a few days later saying my query has been escalated.
A few weeks passed again - I then sent another follow up on the 8th of March; till today no one has come back to me.
I must say I am beyond disappointed at how my query is being, rather not being handled.
All I wanted was them to acknowledge my query, investigate the batch of flours that my bag belonged to, refund me my money, and assure a concerned customer that they have followed all health and quality protocols to ensure that no other customer goes through this. I mean it's a health risk after all.
What Tiger Brands has shown me with the way my query was handled is that:
1. They do not care about their customers.
2. Health, quality, good customer service and brand reputation is not on their priority list.
3. All they are worried about is the bottom line- making profit.
As much as I love this brand, I had to convince myself every week not to put this online and on social media platforms to avoid negative effects that my complaint might have on the brand (no matter how small); but now I see that I'm the only one whose being considerate - Tiger Brand see's me as just another Rand.

Tastic Rice 10 KG
Weavils found in 10kg Rice. I lodged a complaint in December 2020. The Reference no given to me is TV2012230008. I have sent pictures and text messages since December to this no [protected].
It is very disturbing that such a huge company does not take the time to communicate or explain what i need to do to obtain information on the product that was donated to the feeding scheme cause we have. It was a donation and the expiry date on the product is 22 January 2022.

Bad Golden Cloud flour and bad customer service
Sometime last month we bought cake flour at Checkers Nicolway in Brynston. Last week wanted to use the flour only to find it bad, it had threads and worms.
We called your customer service line on Friday 19th and spoke to some Liezel and gave her all the details of the flour and she promised to attend to our complaint. She didn't give us the reference number for the call and when I asked for it, she promised to send it directly to my phone but to date we haven't heard from her nor do we have the reference that was promised. I am not sure what does that suggests, if is that's Tiger brands treats customers or is it the issue of that individual because I'm still waiting for feedback and on the same token we are very much inconvenienced because we are now sitting with the flour and not sure what to do with it.
Purity Squeeze
I purchased the purity puree squeeze for my 1 year old last week and today upon opening the squeeze a green hard substance came out of the sachet. This is very unhealthy not to mention a health hazard as how many other squeeze products contain the very same substance and what health hazards could it have caused had I given it to my Baby without checking first.

I have been trying to contact the customer service line from yesterday. Previously to this I had lodge a complaint and a consultant had contacted me and given me a reference number and all.
On the 7th of December 2020 I had opened the purity squash and it was a sweet potato, apple and sweet corn flavor. It was for my son who is 8 months old. It had a black substance coming out of it.
I then tried to put the purity back in to keep it and lodge a complaint. Two weeks back a consultant contacted me saying that the courier service people were trying to contact me on my cell phone. I told her that if I do not answer the cell you can contact me on my work number in which they have.
Then she said if they cannot get a hold of me they are going to dismiss this complaint and all, which is [censored].
At the moment I still have the purity at home kept just like that. How do you guys expect people to buy these products if they end up rotten and all.

I'm complaining about the mayonnaise 750g
I bought mayonnaise 750g in shoprite checkeus I only find out that inside the bottle of mayonnaise we get pias of classes. We call tigerbrand for help. Then they sent the corea to came and collect the bottle of mayonnaise. Some one call me said she apologized she offered me a voucher of r70.00. Since there I didn't know what is happening. Tiger Brands used to make the best, Since last year i have been throwing away a lot of mabele, it get rotten in two days and they are black, i can not do my ting like years before i am unhappy with this issue. i do not want any money returned please just do proper mabele, to my knowledge and observation of mabele, there are not properly done
Shelf packing staff aggression and non-compliance to covid 19

I would like to complain about a packing employee that I had an altercation with. She was not wearing her name badge and refused to give me her name. She was wearing her company clothes.
She does not understand how social distance works. She was extremely aggressive when I asked her to not push against me.
We waited at the till and she was withdrawing cash from the till in front of us. When she was done she moved back towards the shop instead of out. With this, she pushed passed me moving me out of the way by touching me.
The aggression is the part that worries me more than getting COVID 19 due to her incompetence and blatant disrespect for the law.
She needed to go out and sanitize again to get into the shop as per the law. She just touched the cashier's hands and got money without sanitizing anything.

I really hope that this gets investigated and resolved for her own safety as well as the rest of society.

My family and I have been consuming and enjoying this product since I was a child, and still do. I recently bought 2 of 750g tangy mayonnaise at Spar Zevenwarcht mall in Cape Town. I was very suprised and deeply disappointed to find that one of them was completely off and had smell like old cooking oil and also showing brownish areas especially on the cap/lid. Beacon mallows off
We love the beacon mallows and they are our absolute favorite for years, we keep on buying the big box and we're so disappointed as when we opened the new box and the taste was off, we double checked the expiry date and it was fine, we tried again the next day and still the taste was not the same as always, both my husband and I had the same taste like soap / cardboard taste, not sure what could be the problem... This morning we opend one for breakfast and the color looked strange when I squeezed some in a bowl there where greenish black substance coming out of the pouch as if the food was old.
