Run away!!
Travel Transparency is a joke! The joke is on you. And you will pay the price. The punchline is there is nothing transparent about this company or its website! If you love feeling of being cheeted and taken advantage of this is the company for you. For me, this was a horible experience and a complete waste of time. Beleive the reviews. You will get nothing that was promised to you on the phone. We were promised free RT airfare. It's free if you don't count a $50 registration fee and taxes. It cost $400 to make a reservation that is not guaranteed. We were promised a $100 gift card that we never received. Instead, you get a Groupon type deal that also requires a registration $25 fee, and you can get 1 $25 credit off the cost of your meal once a month at a participating restaurant. This "free dinner" certificate is worse than groupon. It has more restrictions and more work involved. You have to redeem your $25 restricted credit every month or you loose it. This sorry excuse of a business can't even give you a free gift as promised. Justin magie you should be ashamed of yourself. Imagine if your mom in Florida was taken advantage of the way you are conning people, especially the elderly on fixed incomes. Or was that a lie too? I hope this review inspires people run as fast and as far as they can from you and your company. I have included Justin's business card. Notice his 800 number as a contact. Feel free to reach out to ask if any of this is untrue.
Horrible company! Definitely Scammers!
I am so upset this company was able to take advantage of me, and I believed their lies. We paid membership to basically book our reservations through Priceline Agoda, a third-party travel discount site just like Expedia or Travelocity, which is free. Considering the upfront membership fee of $3200 - $8000 does a 10%-20% saving mathematically make sense? Hell no! I don't care how you add up the numbers; resort fees, taxes, and all the upfront costs to unlock your next gift. The company siphons money every inch of the way. Thus far, we haven't been able to realize the benefits on our end at all.
I am definitely interested in a class action lawsuit.
There’s a reason for all the negative reviews online. Read on.
My wife and I are one of the ones who fell for their scam and lost $3,200 we paid for membership, believing we were going to find the same deep discounts they showed us in their oral presentation.
We were fools. Don't you be one!
The prices for hotels on their website are THE SAME OR HIGHER than Expedia or Hotels.com. Every time! Often, you'll click on a price on their site, and get a message that the price has changed from the one you just saw. This is what we paid so much money for? For something we could get for free?
They'll tell you all kinds of stories before you sign up. Don't believe ANYTHING they say. They are well-practiced in misleading you. we consider ourselves pretty savvy consumers, but our love for travel blinded us to what was in front of us.
When we signed up we thought that if this turns out to be fraud we'll be protected by our credit card company, but don't count on it. We were not.
Travel Transparency offers you a refund within five days but you don't get access to their website for seven days. So by the time you discover you were ripped off, it's too late! This is called "bait and switch."
You'll find countless negative reviews online with lame responses from the company. Nothing is ever their fault. Beware! There is a reason for this. People have been burned by them.
So spare yourself the pain of discovering you were lied to to your face and that you threw your money away because you really wanted this to be legit. It's not!
Recommendation: Avoid them like the plague!
Contract with Devil
This is like sighing contract with devil. Don't sighn any contracts with them, you will lose your money and you can't find someone who cares about your problem in this company. This is SPAM.I don't understand how they lied to so many people and how can no one approached them about them going against the law. Everything that they do or say is a lie and breaks the law. They make you sign a contract so it seems like it is a legal agreement but it's a legal fraud. They activated our travel page after 10+ days but in the agreement it states that after 5 days you are not allowed to do a cancellation or anything else ever.
Plus the bank cannot help you or bring your money back because of there stupid agreement. They charged us about 2,500 dollars and to pay a monthly payment now when we want to cancel everything, they charge extra for 500 to cancel. And they refuse to give our money back so
Recommendation: Fully Scam
I wish i’d seen this first. I am in the same boat and mad about it. I can’t believe they can operate like this. You can’t get anyone to help and i feel very taken advantage of. They have one phone number for everything and you can’t speak to anyone except one person who repeats himself about having limited access to the sales people and management. Its awful and very concerning.
I can’t figure out who this company is good for.
This has been a terrible experience since the first week. My first reservation was made using their chat service. The agent mistook 06/17/2023. The agent came back with July 17, 2023. I replied no.. June 17, 2023. I received an email with my reservation for June 6, 2023. I called immediately and it two weeks to get it cancelled and my money back.
Since, we have used their services a few more times. We had one really good experience. The others were hotels that should have been rated one to two stars below the rating given on the site.
This week, we checked into a two bedroom, one bath condo that ended us being a tiny studio. It’s not even a one bedroom. The washer and dryer I was expecting ended up being a quarter size washer with no dryer and not even a drying rack. As I have dealt with Travel Transparency regarding this entire issue, their best solution is to give us 15% back. The room is 30% of what I paid for. I also am unable to get the agent assigned to my case on the phone and she doesn’t have email.
Things to know:
1. The site is very slow to load.
2. Finding you current bookings requires 5 clicks and approximately 1-2 minutes before the page opens. That will only be a list of your bookings. You then have to open another link to see the actual bookings.
3. The best deals are all non-refundable and generally an undisclosed room of an undisclosed size with an undisclosed view.
4. If you book a week and need customer service, good luck.
Reaching out to their customer service department will only get you to a sales person. If you are lucky, they will transfer you up the chain to someone who won’t answer their phone.
Finally, the English speaking representatives they promise are English speaking, but English is their second language.
Save your money and use Booking.com, Luxury Escapes, any other on-line travel service or hire a professional travel agent. It save you hours of frustration, money and time.
Recommendation: Don’t fall for this scam.
They contacted me over 5 times (now 6 times 8/12/2022) in the last 3 months trying to renew my membership
They contacted me over 5 times (now 6 times 8/12/2022) in the last 3 months trying to renew my membership. I explained to the agent, every time, that I have no interest in renewing my membership. The last caller (today) said that my membership can't be canceled and I'm on the hook to pay for 10 years. The discounts offered are pretty deceiving, you can get them off the rack from any of the advertised and contracted resorts and maybe even cheaper. I did several times. The only discount I got was on a Jeep rental *** and even that was dismal. They scammed me out of $2500, a promised cruise, a promised resort stay and a "free" one year membership. I got non of the above.I've been booking my own travel for over 20 years and can see the discounts very easily and they beat travel transparency every time.
I have been on a presentation , love what they offer, very affordable traveling Became a club member and went to *** spend $450 for whole week! Amazing! Love it! Thank you
Just got back from a *** trip I booked through Travel Transparency and couldnt be happier with the savings, the membership really had the savings they promised me and my family.

I had the same experience as *** Travel Transparency contacted me several times offering gifts and incentives to attend their travel
I had the same experience as *** Travel Transparency contacted me several times offering gifts and incentives to attend their travel share (time share like) presentation. They promised a free trip--which included hotel and airfare and a meal certificate without any obligation to purchase. I have the letter for those who would like to see it. The very next day I went to redeem the certificates, only to discover that the information was voided. Travel Transparency is everything but transparent. They are "bait and switchers". If you don't buy their expensive program, someone will call and pretend like they want to help you. BEAWARE: they don't ? They just want to get the Certificate ID number so they can *** you out of what they promised. Be careful with air carriers, they said they had gotten my information from a particular airline I traveled with just a month ago.

Just wanted to leave a positive review .it's human nature to only leave bad reviews and I seldom leave positive reviews but wanted to say that it's been 3 months since we became members and couldn't be enjoying the product more. I find it somewhat sad all these people with bad reviews never even did business with this company, they went for the free gift that ended up having a couple frees. Booo hooo. You missed out big time.
As many people have indicated the gift we got for going to the presentation wasnt that good. With that being said, the program itself is amazing and has saved my family a bunch of money. We have recommended this program to all our friends and family!
My experience mirrors that of many here. I received a call from someone claiming to work for *** Airlines. I asked why *** Airlines would be calling me. She said that they want to help spread the word about a new travel agency in *** Oaks *** and would like to give me two round trip tickets to anywhere in the continental *** that can be used in one year if I attend the grand opening of their travel agency. I played along and was quickly transferred to her manager who then reiterated the offer but then said that it was for any Airline and I said that the employee specifically stated she worked for *** Airlines and she said that yes this person works for *** Airlines but there are other Airline employees working for them to help spread the word because they're so good. She then asked if if I was in fact part of a couple and I said yes I'm married and she said good so then this would be you and your wife and I said no this would be me and my husband I'm a legally married gay man and she said oh I'm sorry I need to place you on hold and ask my manager if that's okay. So not only are they scamming people but they're homophobic about it as well. Unbelievable.
This is exactly what happened to me. THEY LIED about what i was being invited to and why. I specifically said that I didn’t want to attend any timeshare type of presentation and that's exactly what it was. The gifts are terrible. Its a SCAM of a program. They even act like its some special secret they’re allowing you to take advantage of. LIES! They ate nor competitive with any of the travel sites AND you have yo pay upfront for everything. I wish I had seen this beforehand.
Just got back from *** this weekend. Rented 3 rooms for me and my children. The rooms at *** were very accommodating and the savings were over half off. Will be using this site for all my travel. Thanks
Scam! I was promised 2 FREE airline tickets and 3 nights hotel stay anywhere in ** except *** if I attended 90 minute presentation
Scam! I was promised 2 FREE airline tickets and 3 nights hotel stay anywhere in *** except *** if I attended 90 minute presentation in ***. The presentation was 2 hrs. because 1 other person was 30 minutes late. There were only 3 of us total. High pressure sales pitch in the end then the top guy followed me out and said if I came back another day he would give me a special deal! The FREE AIRFARE AND HOTEL certificate actually costs *** . I found this out when trying to redeem this.. I called the Rep who left his cell number on the slip. He was nice but said it is NOT FREE AND THAT THEY tell us that after the 90 min. presentation. THEY DO NOT TELL YOU THAT. I told him this IS ILLEGAL FALSE ADVERTISING.. He said I HAVE NOTHING YONDO WITH THAT. ITS THE OUTSIDE MARKETING COMPANIES TRAVEL TRANSPARENCY USES... BEWARE. I WOULD NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY THAT SCAMS YOU .. Unbelievable. ***..

On June 5 I went to travel transparency listen to The salesman watched a movie or should I say short video of how the program worked. His rewards showed that you could save on average up to 40% or more off a hotel stay or hone rental. A week later when I got my login information I was unable to save the same savings as a salesman. I contacted my bank to let them know that this company is a fraud. When I contacted the company and they told me that I only had five days to cancel. How can somebody cancel within five days without knowing what their savings are before getting the link to your email to sign into the website. Now this company does not want to give me company my money back. I will be reaching out to a lawyer and suing this company. #FRUAD#RIF-OFFS
The worst EVER! I was just called by their 'sales agent', a nice young lady, and once I started a rapport, she immediately handed me over to her "manager" (or closer) as it is known in the scam boiler room biz. I spoke to the guy for a few moments until he asked if I knew who I was taking on the free trip. I said I wasn't sure. I'd have to think about it. It's about scheduling. And he said oh, so you are technically "single" not married or with a significant other? I said, that's right. I am not married and I'm not sure who I would bring with me on the trip. And he then said, "oh I see ok then good bye," and Hung up! WHAAAAAAAT? I knew from the get go that this was a SCAM. But I wanted to see when it would start to unravel. And it did, before they even got my name. They both had very heavy foreign accents, sound like from *** in a boiler room with 100s of other voices in the background. FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKERS! They have only 72 followers on their INSTAGRAM? If they were LEGIT they'd have 1000's. They didn't even buy fake followers! FAIL! If I was trying to make a fake company I'd buy FAKE customers. Oh, and their *** reviews are all fake too. :) HA HA ! FAKERS!
We are not new the timeshares and travel. We went to *** with no intention of buying and walked away with a membership. We tried it out a month later. We were on a business trip and decided to get a rental because Taxis were so expensive. We rented a car though the site for $25 less than what was on the rental website and they upgraded us for free. We saved $140 plus tips that weekend and earned points. We also used to for a couple quick trips. It is easy to use and the points will add up.
This company fits the mold of every timeshare/vacation rental/vacation club company that exists. They are not ComplaintsBoard.com accredited, but they say that they are in their presentation. They say that you will get 2 airline tickets, 2 nights in a hotel, and voucher just for listening to the presentation. Don't fall for it. When claiming the "free" offer, you start by paying a $50 activation fee. Then you pay $199 per ticket as a "processing and taxes fee." The same holds true when you go to book the hotel...processing and taxes fee. So, when all is said and done, you'll pay around $600 for your "free" gift for listening to their pack of lies and hype. Isn't there any regulation for this kind of c*** Don't work with this company. Period!
Do not buy into this membership it is fraudulent I've deleted they give you 5 days cooling
Do not buy into this membership it is fraudulent I've deleted they give you 5 days cooling. After you sign the contract but you can't have access to verify any of their discounts until 7 days later so it's too late and then They won't even bother responding to you when you file complaint that their membership is fraudulent and you want your money back. Their services are worse than what you can get on hotel.com.com their discounts are misrepresented when they do their pitch to you in person. It's a shame that businesses like this exist where people physically lie to you about all all these discounts and wonderful things that are not true. On the 7th day when I was given access I immediately checked to verify their supposed discounts against hotel.com come and in many cases their rates were much higher than what I can get in the public market at no membership cost. This is a scam service. Do not buy this service as you're wasting your time and money.
Everything this person said is 100% accurate. There’s also plenty more that others have stated abi e that is also VERY accurate. Do NOT buy anything from these people.
On May 21 we attended the sales presentation in Orange County, ***. All in all it SOUNDED like a good deal. Since we had been planning a cruise as soon as Covid let up a bit, we felt we wouldn't be out anything as they were offering a free cruise. The cruises offered included the Carnival Mexican Riviera 7 day cruise, which is what we were planning. I told them we always book a balcony room, and was ABSOLUTELY ASSURED ithis cruise would be first class accommodations, including the balcony suites.A few weeks ago I requested my certificate, and booked a cruise for Septmeber 19th. I finally got the information back (from "Activatemytrip.com". I was disappointed to see the room booked must be an lower deck inside cabin. We have cruised many times with Carnival, and our perks and upgrades with Carnival would have been cheaper than what our membership fees were and all the promised upgrades. We have also tried MANY times to book rooms for weekend trips and short vacations. We were promised a 40% savings. Surprise surprise...After dozens of attempts to book through Tragel Transparenceis, ALL of the online travel services (Expedia, Booking.com, and even our AAA membership) are virtually the EXACT SAME PRICE as the prices quoted for the exact same hotels and accomidations through Travel Transparencies.. BUYER BEWARE. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. From what I have read above I won't even attempt to get my money back - but I'm thinking a bunch of us should look into a class action lawsuit due to the lies liies lies told by Travel Transparency.
Attended their presentation at ***, . They pretty much sold me a membership for access to their website for discounted travel. Also, a trip to various destinations for a family of 2 adults and 2 children, including flight and hotel. The amount was about $4,000, however I had to pay $2400 before I can receive access to my trip. I finished paying the $2400 for the trip during covid. After making numerous phone calls to different people, I was able to finally book my trip for 4 days and 5 nights in ***. Of course, I still had to pay an activation fee and additional fee for my children which exceeds to limit for accommodation. The total came up to about $807 dollars. Something did not seem right about the activation fee. I mean, I'm sure they take out money out of my aciunt every single month would cover the "activation fee", but appears to be something separate. Anyhow, I received my confirmation and it states that I have agreed to attend another 1.5 hour presentation 45 minutes away at another hotel, if not I have to pay 399 USD because it's promotional stay. So, all the money they take out at ***, does not contribute to anything but *** and *** pockets. Selling promotional travel which is free for an astronomical price. Shame on them! Scammers for sure! Also travel transparency hotel purchase access on their website requires an additional 249 dollars a year that they failed to mention, which is separate from the payment they take out every month. BTW they refuse to give you a copy of your contract.
Unethical business practices. Attended a seminar and promised a trip to Catalina. I had to pay 100. 16 days before my trip I finally get a call after leaving 3 messages the prior 2 months. They said they could not accommodate my trip anymore with no resolutions . Do not go to the seminars or buy anything. I do not understand how people can work for companies like this.
G, I agree with you about the class action 100%. I'm meeting with my lawyer tomorrow. They got us on April 15th. Nice sales girl, kept telling us about them having the cheapest prices (lie), said zero about cancelation. Logged in on the 22nd as instructed. Saw NOTHING cheaper than the usual travel sites. So I called back to cancel. "Sorry, only 5 days to cancel" even though you have NO ACCESS for 7 days! RIPOFF, SCAM, DEFRAUDERS, LIERS, CHEATERS, and general low lifes to take advantage of so many! They got us for over $3,000!Let the class action LAWSUITS BEGIN!
Same thing here, Total scam artist. All there sales people are liars. Nothing they told us was true. I tried to contact the company and the person on the phone could only book trips and would not give me any company information. We wrote a letter of complaint to the sales person and the company and no one and I mean NO ONE responded to our complaints. Please post info on Class action as WE want to paerticipate for sure.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND SALES PEOPLE.
Would love to speak with you. I’m in the same boat.
Save your money, This is a SCAM!
Save your money, This is a SCAM! This company does not deliver what they promise and provide inaccurate information.1. Let's start with the supposedly free gifts that they give you for attending their presentation. Guess what they don't work and it comes with activation fees.2. the company preaches that they beat other hotels site prices and when they don't you can submit for a Price Guarantee. That's another lie. Here is one example of the many issues, I had with travel transparency not being transparent. My claim got denied, because it was non refundable but if you look at the picture below; all the non-refundable rooms are visible but mine wasn't, it was hidden under the cancellation policy.3. I booked a house that had capacity for 6 people and confirmed it with the property owner and on travel transparency was only allowing 4 and their staff weren't able to accommodate me and made me cancel it.Save the headache you will find better deals in other free sites.
My issue with travel transparency dates back 2 yrs [protected]) without any satisfaction and getting the run around from customer service reps -
My issue with travel transparency dates back 2 yrs [protected]) without any satisfaction and getting the run around from customer service reps - who promise to get back to you and never do. Always pointing the finger at another department within the organization and claiming my issues were forwarded to the wrong division. Even had a 45 minute sit down, face to face with the Vice President of Sales - afterwards he assured me the problems would be solved. It's been 2 months and several follow up phone calls and emails to the Vice President and as the rest of the organizations lack of follow up and follow through - he personifies this mindset - issues have not been solved. I called him twice the week of 11/1 and three times the previous week, no return call or email letting me know how the *** would be refunding my membership and flight taxes that were paid and never received for our travel vouchers from 2019 I have been asking for my money back for the membership and all the unanswered problems for over a year thus far.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

I sat thru a presentation at their ***, **
I sat thru a presentation at their ***, . Office in August . They had an interesting concept, and kept offering Incentives to get you to sign up and pay over $3000.00 for program. First was a "NATIONWIDE Airfare Adventure" round trip airfare and 2 Nights Accommodations. Over 600 locations including Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott etc. properties. After I sent them a $200.00 deposit, They offered me to go to ***, and stay in a casino. I would fly into *** arriving at 11:00 Pm, and leave 2 days later at 6:00am. If I wanted better flight times, I had to pay another $129.00. It is only a $69.00 Flight from ***. I asked for a refund and still have not received it. This was supposed to be a Free incentive! We also supposidly were to receive a 3,4,5,night Cruise, and had to Call *** (Manager of *** Office) to get certificate. I called, talked to him, and he was going to send Certificate to me. I have left numerous messages, with no callback. When I told him I was going to file with ComplaintsBoard.com and dispute the charges, I received a call back, and he said he would call me next day and let me know when to pick up Certificate. No call 10 days ago. THIS PROGRAM IS A SCAM! They talk a big story, and can't live up to their commitments. Don't fall for sales pitch.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
First there is NO reason why you should have a 5 day cancellation period that’s not provided in writing with rest of the stuff they give you. Secondly, the cancellation period that they somehow don’t disclose verbally should not expire before having access to the product nor service. There’s only one phone number to this company and conveniently they cannot help with anything necessary. SCAM.

This place is 100% SCAMER OPERATION!
This place is 100% SCAMER OPERATION! They cold called me to come visit there new office in Studio City. Where in return for going to a 90 minute seminar we would get 2 airline tickets to anywhere in north America and a free stay of 3 day and 2 night in a 4 or 5 star hotel and a $200 card we can spend in any restaurant. I listened to the pitch and appointment needed to be confirmed by a manager. 5 min later when manager called to confirm, They wanted to verify my name and the spelling on it. They checked like 6 different times because Im sure they bought a list with my name on it and i gave them a different name. The Managers name was Tanya H, But when I started speaking Spanish . She had no idea what i said told me she dont speak Spanish. So asker few questions like for the 2 round trip airline tickets, What airline will we be able to take? They said Any Airline , ***, *** airlines. I said ok then for hotel , Which one can we stay at? They said ***, ***, any 4 or 5 star hotel. I said ok, Then I asked about the any restaurant card. they said any restaurant. I said ok well i want to make sure that it works so im not stuck paying the bill. Is it a visa? they said NO, I said is it a Master card? they said no , I asked amex? they said no. So i was like well how is the restaurant gonna get paid ? they said its there discount card that the restaurant sends to them and they reimburse them. That dont sound correct at all. So I started looking for reviews about this place and they have had 100's of terrible reviews of being scammed and hustled.

Will update review upon once my investigation is completed. Please read the 75+ reviews on YELP and the ComplaintsBoard.com.- Misrepresentation - False Advertisement - Possible TCPA violations - Possible fraud to those who they got to purchase the membership 7 years ago we were scammed by a GEVC, timeshare company. They sold me a $7,000+ timeshare I have yet to use for any of the vacations they told us we could use it for. When I first received the call from Travel Transparency, I immediately said I was not interested in a presentation or timeshare and the instant response was that it was not a presentation or timeshare, it was an open house for a new company that was looking to have feedback on their travel membership club. For our options, multiple gifts, that were confirmed in writing and shared in my full *** review, would be given. These gifts included 2 round trip airlines tickets with 3/2 accommodations or a 8/7 hotel accommodations anywhere in the *** during any time period and completely free. It also included a $100 restaurant gift card to any restaurant of our choice and a brand new smart fitness watch. We were told that there would be zero cost to us for these gifts. We arrived to the *** Oaks location and it was very much a timeshare style presentation. According to them, their members receive wholesale vacation pricing because they cut out third party companies like Expedia and Priceline. Examples of with ten of thousands of dollars in savings kept being discussed, including the ability to book a complete island for 40 people for approximately $36,000.We received the gifts but they were not gifts at all. It was a certificate for travel which you have to pay for to activate before you can even see if the destinations or dates you wanted were available and a $300 dining certificate that you not only had to pay for, but it also gave you the dining credit in monthly increments of $25. There was no smart fitness watch.

DISHONEST company!
DISHONEST company! In July *** endorsed and powered with Carnival Cruise Lines. I was impressed with the services they would provide along with the savings. I paid them a total of $3477 in November. In January, I began to search for vacation dates to utilize my "free vacations" and nothing was available for the months of February, March, April, May, nor June. In mid-January, I called the *** and left numerous messages, however, she would not return my telephone calls. I called the 800 number and was told to sign-on the website. After searching for possible trips, I found no dates available. In early February, I found her email address and she finally responded with a very short response which did not answer my questions submitted. In mid February, I received a call from a Operations Manager who stated that the *** asked him to contact me. The information he provided regarding additional costs to receive my "free travel" did not sit well with me. In additional, I would need to agree to pay an annual fee to access the cruise line website, and would have to paid $350 per person for the "free cruise and port fees. I stated that I would not pay that and wanted my money refunded. He was going to forward my concerns to the *** office manager which I did not hear from. On February 18, the Operations Manager again called me to inform me that *** stated that I could pay them another $500 to cancel the agreement, however, I would forfeit my initial payment of $3477. I told him that this was totally crazy! I would give them over $4,000 and receive nothing in return. He stated that he would speak with *** and get back with me. As of this date, I have NOT received a call nor my money back. This company is not transparent at all! This company does not live up to its promise to provide outstanding customer and *** services to its clients. I will be filing more complaint against them.
It’s scam
do not pay big amount of money up front no matter what they offer you
can get much better deals from any travel agency without paying hugh amont money up front such as costco travel, booking.Com and etc
Do not buy this membership. The customer service is terrible once you sign up and you don’t even have access during the cancellation period. They did not give me one document in hand to take that discloses the cancellation period.
