We purchased tickets to fly out from Stockholm (ARN) to Las Vegas and Travelgenio cancelled our flights and failed to find us new flights. We even paid to have cancellation protection and we have STILL after over a month now not recieved the refund for these tickets and I'm about to miss out on my daughter who is a professional athlete competing at the Olympics.

We called several times and they said every time that we were getting a refund "within the next few days" and they still have not came through with a refund. Absolutely unacceptable.

I want a refund immediately so we can book new tickets!

We got our flights cancelled from Korean Air lines on Sept 26, 22 from Phnom Penh to Vancouver. My booking ref # [protected] and my parents booking ref #[protected]. I have not received a refund status or an email about the cancelation at all. However, my parents got a refund status but still in the process. I wonder how will take to process that? It's been almost a month.

19 Sept - I received email stating that there is flight changes.

27 Sept - I called Travelgenio for more details. Your colleague told me that the outbound flight from Adelaide to HK is fine but the return flight from HK to Adelaide is cancelled. I then requested involuntary change IC-204275 which request alternative of the same days/time/flight as origin.

11 & 20 Oct - I received email for confirming the proposed alternative due to the itinerary change made by Airline. I didn't reply anything.

24 Oct - I received email stating my flight was cancelled under requested number CA-170129.

I called your company today telling that I haven't requested for cancellation. Your colleague said I cancelled on 21 Oct. I asked whether I send email to your company to cancel and your colleague said "Yes". I then asked her to send me back the email I sent out but I just received your company email again saying that I requested cancellation on 21 Oct.

I am totaling disappointed for your company services and please follow up and reply.

I have made a flights booking, received confirmation to e-mail, But I would also like to have access to Mu trip to follow up on up actual information or to do other things, but unfortunately this is not possible because I don't get the promised email in my inbox or in spams or ads.

Is there really no other option to contact with Travelgenio or see my flights information! ?

I have requested a VAT invoice for my flight booked and to date have still not received anything , I need this urgently for a company claim.

However, when I contacted the airline (Jeju air), they told me air) that my reservation does not exist.

When I booked my tickets for the flight the travelgenio suddenly canceled it and when I saw my refund status it said it was fully refunded but it was never reflected in my bank account. I bought the tickets on Oct 2, 2022. My booking reference is [protected]. We booked a round trip from manila going to japan for 4 people and I never received a full refund in my bank account.

Do not book with these people. They are scammers, fraudsters and do not wish to help you in ANY circumstances.

I need to change a maiden name and they said the airline (SWISS airline) does not change the name. HOWEVER they do change LEGAL names as long as you have the necessary documents

I tell this to TRAVELGENIO but they refuse to even help and say that SWISS AIR does NOT change names in any circumstance. I have even got an email from Customer service from SWISS airlines to say they DO CHANGE THE NAME and sent the reply email to TG with NO ANSWER. I even conferenced called the SWISS airline chat support with a representative of TravelGenio. The SWISS airline rep was disgusted with the customer service as he tried to say that IT IS POSSIBLE, BUT IT HAS TO BE MANUALLY DONE by contacting the confidential support line between the travel agent and the airline.

TRAVELGENIO is the TRAVEL AGENCY and the INTERMEDIARY is obligated to CHANGE the name if I have provided the NECESSARY DOCUMENTS, but they refuse to even acknowledge this important information.

STAY AWAY from these people as they do not give a crap about helping you in any way..

Due to health problem, I want to cancel my family flight ticket that is scheduled for 22/10/2022, return 05/11/2022

I can not cancel on your webpage and your answer is no about cancellation but I need a cancellation bill to give to my insurance for them to take in charge the cancellations fees.

I booked a ticket twice by mistake in July last year 2021. This was because l had not received confirmation of payment the first time. When l discovered the mistake, l wrote to travelgenio and no response till now. I called their number and only the automated voice responds. This was a full ticket which was never used. I called Rwandair and they said the ticket was cancelled and that l had to get in touch with Travelgenio for a refund. I am very much disappointed in Travelgenio's business ethics. Their website does not offer much. I tried to call but no response

I booked a return flight from Abu Dhabi to Manila and back on Friday 30th September 2022.

First of all they overcharged me approximately 186 AED equals to 50 USD as price shown before payment was (2884 AED) different then the payment deducted from my credit card (3070 AED). The excess amount of 186 AED is totally unjustified and since the total price (3070 AED) deducted from my card right away without OTP so I have no chance to think over the final price but in fact the total amount deducted (3070 AED) including excess amount of (186 AED) left me in complete shock as the amount has already been deducted and there is nothing I can do about it so I contacted the customer service of the company for justification and refund of excess amount but all in vain nobody replied me until now I need refund of the excess amount on immediate basis.

Second thing whenever I book my airline tickets online from different websites advertised on skyscanner.com I usually get my airline e-ticket with in 1 hour of booking and payment but its been 3 days I have booked my airline ticket with https://ae.travelgenio.com/ but until now I only received a payment confirmation and payment receipt no e-ticket yet. I also contacted company's customer service for my e-ticket but as usual no response from them. I am confused now that should I book same ticket from another website as until now I didn't receive the e-ticket from them what should I do now as e-ticket should take minutes or hours but not days in such digital era. I need response from them as I have created 3 trouble tickets with them but until now none of them has any response they are playing dead and so non response. I would not recommend them for booking airline tickets in future.

I have contacted them numerous times to refund my flight tickets which were cancelled by Airlines "AIR VISTARA". When I am contacting them, they are asking me for the reference number provided by AIR VISTARA, while AIR VISTARA customer care are simply telling me to contact Travelgenio directly without giving me any reference number as I have booked my flight tickets by using their website.

Again and again, I am contacting Travelgenio regarding the full refund that has been validated on 3rd of december 2021 for my tickets by AIR VISTARA.

Worst thing is that I have been trying to contact Travelgenio for 11 months so far, and have had no positive response except each time receiving auto generated mails.

You can't have any hope with this particular agency and from their customer care service which is clearly showing no gratitude towards their customer. I am hoping for no response as well here too but can save so many people from falling down in a similar situation.

I was told at the check in by the Anadolou jet (Turksih air) personnel that there is a problem in my booking, (made by the agency as they confirmed), so I need to get that fixed. I called Travelgenio and emailed them, they said its too late and they fix it tomorrow. I missed the flight and ended up booking a hotel for the night (I don't live in London) and booking a new flight for the morning after with high price. After contacting Travelgenio to make complaint, I was told its my mistake, they also had my return flight cancelled. And then I was told they asked for some money back from the airline and I have to wait for that.

Hello, I bought a ticket on skyscanner with a Travelgenio on 21 September 2022 from Tbilisi to Seoul and from Seoul to Tbilisi back, but it doesn't show up there any tickets and is there any problem? The 72 hours have passed and I still haven’t ticket. I will submit the visa application on Monday. I tried to contact with you but it’s impossible so I need some help

offering quite competitive prices for plane ticket from Toronto to London England.

On May 25, 2022 I ordered tickets, received e-mail confirmation and my credit card was billed $ 2,440.29.

Next day on May 26, 2022 I received e-mail advising, that my booking was cancelled and that I shall receive credit ASAP no explanation why…

It took a while for credit of $ 2,317.55 to appear on my credit card AND IT WAS SHORT $122.74!

For many days I called them, e-mailed them, until they finally replied that the refund was smaller, due to difference in currency exchange rate on a day of billing and on a day of refund.

I kept calling, e-mailing in no avail/ no more communication from them!

Then I found out, that this is their modus operandi - ugly scam. They routinely confirm very cheap flight and bill it at hi exchange rate, than next day they cancel it and wait until exchange rate drops and refund the charge... quite legit !? I did some research of TRAVELGENIO MADRID ESP company and found out that Travelgenio has currently 1704 complaints !

Do not deal with scammers!

I am writing to make a complaint about the experience I had with Travelgenio recently. I am profoundly deaf and I booked return flights from London to Belarus, travelling on 06/08/2022-08/08/2022 and 11/09/2022-12/09/2022. The outboard and return journeys both involved a layover in Turkey. The tickets were worth £1140; please find the booking confirmation attached.

A few weeks before my departure date, I was informed by the Turkish airline that the first leg of my return journey (Belarus to Turkey) had been cancelled. I hadn’t heard anything about this from you. I called the airline to ask about a refund but they said I needed to contact you, because you had booked the flight. I sent you several emails which were not answered, and I finally received an email a few days before I left the UK, confirming the flight was cancelled. I then had to scramble to look for another flight. Nothing was available and I was very worried about how I’d get to Turkey from Belarus.

The Turkish airline said my second flight TK 1979 on 12/09/2022 07:55am (Turkey to London) had not been cancelled. I emailed you twice asking you to keep my booking on that second flight and not to cancel it. I wanted to keep that booking because I decided I’d get to Turkey one way or another. I received a reply confirming my second flight had not been cancelled and giving details about getting a refund for the Belarus to Turkey flight. Please find that communication attached.

I flew to Belarus without problems and checked your website the day before my return home, to look for any updates. I couldn’t find any information about my booking from Turkey to London. I emailed you twice asking where my booking was and I didn’t receive a reply. Fortunately I had saved the details of the booking and our communications about it, and I felt a bit confident there wouldn’t be a problem.

I had managed to buy a ticket from Belarus to Turkey with another company. They were great and the booking process had gone smoothly. I arrived at the Belarus airport and went to check in my bag but they weren’t able to find the details of my second flight. They were able to see Travelgenio’s name but all the other information was missing. the staff said it would be fine so they checked my bag through from Belarus to London.

The Belarus-Turkey flight was fine and I arrived in Turkey on 11th September. I had my boarding pass for the second flight which I’d saved previously and I made my way to the gate. When I got there, my name wasn’t listed on the passenger list. I explained that I’d bought a ticket and paid for it, and I showed them the confirmations (My e-ticket) that I received from you. They were confused about why my name wasn’t on their list and they said it looked like a case of fraud. This was extremely distressing. The idea that I was stuck in Turkey, as a deaf person and not knowing the language, was terrifying. I asked about buying another ticket but was told there was nothing available until 16th September and it would cost £1000. Being stuck for four days in a foreign country that I don’t know at all was unthinkable. It was so stressful, I was crying and felt so anxious. The staff were not very helpful.

Eventually they found a flight stopping over in Germany, and I paid nearly £1000 for a ticket and stayed in hotel for £150. But then there was the problem of my bags being checked on the wrong flights. It was hellish, the worst experience of my life. It was a long wait till the flight to Germany and I had to spend the night in Turkey which was scary and stressful. The next day, my flight to Germany was delayed by two hours, meaning I missed my connection so I had another long wait until I could get on a flight to London. That was yet more stress and worry.

Back in the UK, I have now received a refund from you but it is only for £392. I paid you £1140.93 and I wasn’t able to catch either of my returning flights so I should receive a 50% refund. £392 can’t possibly be right. In the attachments, you can see evidence of the full price I paid and I look forward to receiving the remainder of the refund I am owed.

I hope you will take my complaint seriously and take steps to ensure this does not happen to anyone else. I’ve been traumatised by my experience – I haven’t been sleeping well and I’ve been having flashbacks about being stuck in the airport. As a deaf person, I am vulnerable and being stuck abroad in a foreign-language-speaking country was very frightening, and the whole situation was the result of your appalling customer service.

I look forward to hearing back from you soon regarding my refund and what you will be doing as a result of my complaint.
