Ramada Closed Hotel

I had confirmed reservations at your facility in Lexington, KY for Oct 20, 2023, which I made on June 7, 2023. Imagine my surprise when I arrived to find the hotel shuttered and closed. This left me with no reservation in the area and was forced to drive to near Louisville, KY before I found and available room. This added another 3 hours to my already 9 hour drive. I received NO communications from Ramada telling me of any change. This is totally unsatisfactory and will not use any of your facilities again given such poor customer service. I will advise ALL of my business and leisure traveling friends to do the same.

Recommendation: DO NOT USE!!!!

Ramada Ramada Wyndham hotel Newburgh NY manager

Qe was stay over 2 months, time to tines. We make a deal. Cash $100 dollar days. One week we pay cash $700. After time is off, we want to pay 3 more days. He charge me $475. For 3 days. Next day, I talk to manger, he told me give back $175. Or give me 2 moredays, next couple day's, we stay there, 3 more days, smit sure be $300 and one worker told me, next morning 8 am to 9 am, manger is give my money back for $175, they charge extra. Oh well, I never gir the money, he told me to get out, But he put down on the paper for hotel, he only put down $300, and he keep for him self ny $175. He is Con man. Not only that, he give me bad, naste room Be careful manager.

Looks like you had quite the adventure at Ramada! Sounds like that manager was running a masterclass in confusion. Cash deals that go sideways, a disappearing $175, and a room that wasn’t exactly five-star? Yikes! Next time, maybe keep a magnifying glass handy for any "deals" they offer. Stay sharp!

Ramada Not sending invoices corresponding to corporate stay

I've been kindly requesting, repeatedly two missing invoices of very elevated amount 1.145,52€ and 1.219€, respectively, corresponding to the stay of our technicians at the Ramada Birmingham Oldbury. dates from 6/03/2020.

We are an industrial company and we make worlwide reservations and therefore we require invoices.

The reservations dept. of hotel Ramada Birmingham Oldbury does not reply to our mails.

I don't think is a service we can recommend. We need a partner hotel which would respond to the needs of a company, we do not make holiday reservations

Ramada Pathetic catering services and staff behavior for settling bills

We had hosted a dinner Ramada, Navi Mumbai on 6 November 2023.

We are very dissatisfied with the services provided by Catering Manager and Sales Manager.

The service for starters provided before the main course was very poor. This was very embarrassing for us in presence of our guests.

On telephonic instruction by Sales Manager the security staff misbehaved with our Company Executives for settling the bills.

Hope such behavior is not repeated with future customers.

It is a pity that even after paying your hefty buffet rates we feel cheated and are insulted by your staff.

Ramada hotel room

I have tried reaching the General Manager of the Ramada Inn in Ellsworth Maine several times regarding my stay in October 2024. My room flooded overnight on October 7, 2024. I woke up to gusts of wind and rain coming through the window and went down to the front desk to ask for a room change, however, there was a line of people at the front desk and no receptionist. I waited for 30 minutes, got fed up, and ended up leaving the motel and drove to Portland. There was about a foot of water in the room, and there has been ZERO communication from the staff regarding my stay. I have left several voicemails and emails and my next steps is to escalate the to the VP/President of Ramada Inn.

I want my full refund back. Check in person was rude and no one was behind the desk. Waitied 15 min. Changed rooms. Mold, dirty, water from refrigerator was leaking all over. Ramada Ramada plaza by Wyndham, Albany New York

I stayed last night in this hotel. Did not feel safe. Parking lot full of men who only dispersed when security came around. Saw 2 bedbugs in my room 708. Smoke detector went of several times. Not fire alarm, smoke detector in room. Front desk said it needed new batteries and would come and fix it, but never did. Horrible experience. I did not leave because I was afraid of outside. I waited for daylight. Sleep was impossible. Also booked this room over the phone using a cc. My next charge on the card was denied, because my bank flagged it for fraud. Someone in the Netherlands had attempted to use my card for an unauthorized purchase

Desired outcome: Return my money. Fix bed bug issue. Address smoke alarm in room. Investigate safety of this property

Ramada Money taking card unauthorized. Over charging

One night stay a $105 period my debit card was charged $242.

No reason given. Front desk clerk could not help me the. Was told the money would be pending until September. 25th 2023. The money was taken off September 9th 2023. I need my money back. Now. Another man in The lobby with me Said the same thing happened, he has not received his money either period Ramona is still in money from people and not returning it period they should be held accountabperiod. Ramada Refusal of checking in advanced booking.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I, Sant Ram Mishra resident of India reached hotel Ramada, near airport Los Angeles, today at about 5:00 pm requested for pre booked check in (copy of booking voucher enclosed for ready reference). Since my credit card got blocked, I requested for security deposit $ 100 in Cash. My request for cash deposit as a spl case was not considered and checking was refused.

Hotel staff neither cooperated nor behaved properly. Being foreigner no sympathy was shown.

Requested for needful action. I’m still waiting in lobby.

Ramada my room rent delaying.

I am the owner of one of the room in Ramada Murry Pakistan. But for two years I never get rent as per the agreement with the Franchiser. I am a lady and my husband working abroad. Ramada Run down, outdated, and dirty hotel. Credit card charges

We arrived on Thursday August 3, 2023, and the Lady behind the counter seemed annoyed we were bothering her to check in. The hotel has no elevator and I’m 62 (Disabled Vet) and my wife is 63. We were placed on the second floor all the way back in room 227.

When we went into the room my wife noticed water all over the floor from the refrigerator that was turned off and defrosted, plus it was tilted because of a missing leg, I folded up a coffee cup and placed it under it to level the refrigerator. We cleaned up the water with one of the towels.

Turned on the AC, but the room never got cold because it didn’t work properly. So, the first night we stayed. I got about an hour of sleep because it was so hot in the room. The next morning, I took my wife to the event she was attending. I told the cleaning staff I will make the beds and straighten up the room.

I tried to take a nap before I did this, but it was so hot in the room that sweeting profusely. I made the beds, straightened up the room, took out the dirty towels. I asked if I could get a couple of towels and I was told they don’t have any towels. “I said wait a minute you’re a hotel and you don’t have towel”.

That was the last straw, I informed the front desk that I would be checking out and when I get all my stuff out, I will turn in the room card. The lady behind the counter told me that they may have to charge me another day, but she would have to check with her manager. I was out of the room by 10:30am.

I asked the lady behind the counter for a receipt, but again she said she would have to talk to her manager and would not have a receipt at this time. I said if she charges me for another day then I will dispute it with the credit card company.

I checked my credit card website and there were two charges on my card. One for $439.56 and the other for $50.00. If we stayed the whole time, it would have been $439.56. I have disputed both charges with my credit card company.

This hotel is so outdated, the staff are rude, the mattresses need to be replaced, and the place is very dirty. I would never recommend this hotel plus any ramada because of the experience we had.

Please investigate this and return my funds. My credit card company is investigating the charges. I would love to see the results of the investigation.

Ramada Recent stay at The Ramada in Strasburg, Ohio

My wife and I just returned from a stay in Ohio. The Ramada we stayed at in Strasburg was fine, but you would expect the desk clerk to be somewhat helpful and understanding to a point. This isn't the case with the lady that works 7 to 3. We drove all night from Florida and get there to a room that had been paid for a month earlier only to be scolded for getting there early by 2 hours. Then after paying for both of my small dogs to stay she told us we have to take them with us anytime we leave. So way did I have to pay for them? I watch her get disgusted by a couple asking about a local tourist attraction. Instead of just smiling and saying she wasn't sure then directing them to all of the brochures located in the lobby. I sure all of this sounds trivial, but why would a company want someone like this being the first contact of people looking to relax and enjoy their stay at your hotel?

Desired outcome: Move her to a job where she deal with people.

Ramada Damage to car parked at Ranada By Wyndham Niagara Falls near the falls at Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada.

We checked into hotel on July 16th (4 rooms) around 6:00 pm and parked two cars (Mazda CX5 and Volvo V60) at hotel parking area. We also paid $70 as parking fee. We discovered damage to back window of Volvo V60, it was completely smashed and there was large stone inside the car. We spoke to hotel staff about damage, they did not provide any support. Told us that they cannot do anything, and not responsible for damage. Advised us to contact Police.

We are stranded at Niagra falls with spending day waiting for police to register a complaint and get repairs done to our car. We are scheduled to drive back to Montreal on Tuesday morning.

I am not sure how such a well-known hotel deals with customer issues.

Ramada Service in general

I purchased a reservation for 2 nights from a 3rd party reservation site for the Ramada Inn for a 2 day vacation with my wife in Va. Beach. The description stated ocean view with a picture of the hotel on the beach on the map. It went downhill from there when we checked in. 1) When we checked in, we found ourselves in a hotel across the street from the main hotel with no view of the beach. (False advertising). One building was a newer HOTEL, while across the street it was a motel 6 style 20 plus year old MOTEL. 2) The room was dated, paint coming off the walls. The coffee table was on its last leg. If you set anything on it, it felt like it would collapse 3) One of the smoke detectors occasionally chirped all night. When maintenance checked it the next morning, it was found to be expired in 2014. 4) While going to the beach, we locked my wife’s purse in the safe. When we went to retrieve it, the key broke in half, and the hotel (A) did not have a master key and stated it was lost. (B) A locksmith had to be called to cut the safe open. We missed an event we were going to go to. 5) After telling us they would be back to make the beds, they never returned. 5) Carpet had patches different colors of the original carpet. 6) Gotten woken up by my wife screaming at about midnight, there was a roach about 1-2 inches long crawling along the ceiling. When we talked to the manager, she stated all she would/could do is refund the resort fee. When I had a different job, years ago and traveled 10 months or more a year, I stayed in multiple Ramadas without issue through the 9 years on the road. This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. If it was not a just a 2 day stay, I would have checked out. I would like to end on a good note I would like to commend who I am assuming is the maintenance manager. He kept us informed while he was trying to get the safe open. 1) Expired smoke detectors by YEARS. (Not sure if the fire department would like that. 2) Lost master key for the safes. (This is a major security issue) 3) Roaches in room. 4) Motel, I would have to get 1 star. It would have been a 1/2 star, but one time I stayed in a worse motel, but not by much. 5) False advertising. Thank you.
