The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
On 10/15/09 while at work, a co-worker approached me and handed me their phone. There was a message on the phone that said. Hello Vera XXXXXXXXX, my name is Jason I am calling from United Auto Credit, I am looking for Eve Anderson, If you see her ask her to call [protected].
I only know Vera from work, I am her supervisor. This was very embarrassing, I could only appologized to her I told her I would tell them not to call her again. We have know idea why they contacted her or how they knew we worked together. I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, I also contacted a lawyer service. I want to now if there is anything else I can do.
On 1/08/2010 United Auto Credit had my car repod, The IRS levied my checks I contacted the Tax Advocates officer how it was a error on the IRS part, and because of the Tax Levie my truck was repoed. The Tax Advocates rep had my money returned that was levied, and deposited in my account. I called United Auto Credit to pay the full amount owed on my Truck, because I only had 11 months left to pay on it, I spoke to a Tony L__o_t who said United Auto credit is not giving me back my truck. Not only that I used your provided info, to contact the a United Auto rep. When I called United Auto to get my personal property from my truck they would not tell me where is was, and they kept giving me a run around. They did not call me until today 2/1/2010 after I sent a complaint E-Mail on 1/31/2010. Tony from United Auto Credit said in a sarcastic way, that I have very few days to get my personal items from the repo place, becasue after 45 days they will through my items in the trash and it has already been 24 days. What Can I do. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, Bureau of Consumer Protection, what else can I do? My E-mail is Purplejeep1105@yahoo.com
United Auto Credit has called my family and friends and offered them $100 to give them info on me. My daughter was harrassed by United Auto Credit, who called her every day. United AUto Credit would call my cell and leave horriable messages on my answering machine. Saying, Your 47 years old and you need to act like it etc, etc, .
They call my phone several times a day if I'm only a day late. And they repo the vehicle when i was only three day late had to pa the 100 dollar tow, and the car note for the month to get the vehicle back.they don't work with you
United Auto Credit is very Mean, Nasty, and Surly they have no heart for people and they do talk to you with a Nasty attitude.I been with United Auto Credit for Two Years and they say I've been late more than the three or four times I have been Just recently.I always for the most part been on time with my payments.I even pay a little more than I needed to just to hurry and finish with these Heartless people. They need to be dealt with very severely.I know I been ripped off now looking at the blue book value of this vanand no I didn't have anyone to help me when I went and purchased this Van.So Please if there's someone that help us especially as Ladies we really don't know much about cars and their prices and what to look for in cars. Even though I had this van for 2years now I've been really suffering big time Regret with this not knowing how to go about until one day I happen to look United Auto Credit and saw these complaints. I then took initiative to respond to these and yes I agree all the way. They have poor customer service skills towards their customers.I was late this month of January and they have called me about 5 times already and I Called in and let them know I was going to be a little late for payment and they still called me everyday after that I'm very upset Because I did my duty to call and not be dishonoring and not call them. I always make promise pays and keep My promises all the time .Please Help someone !
I have been fortunate enough to not be late on my payments until recently when they have not been reaching them by mail! I called and asked if i had any other options and why are my payments not reaching them? I was told i had to pay the $15 fee to pay over the phone! They also said its the post office;s fault that my mail is not reaching them, well thats strange that its happening EVERY month. All my other bills reach there destinations just fine through the post office. The local office i deal with was great, but now that it is corporate THEY SUCK! I can't wait till my loan with them is up, just because people have less than perfect credit there is no reason to treat them with disrespect!
They got me fired from my job! i told them repeatedly to stop calling my job and leaving voicemails on my jobs answering machine! I was only a day or 2 late and they continued to call as if I was months behind!
wow this is funny because i am going through the same thing with them they call every1 under the sun even if they aren't a reference... One day i logged on to my Facebook after work & there they were harassing me i said is this not illegal they said no it is illegal to pay late on your note. i said for 15 dollars i sent short are you serious they said we are. can't wait till i am done with them
I am so sorry that happened to you United Auto Credit will not work with anybody they won't even work with me to defer a payment they are so rude and hateful and obnoxious I can't believe they're calling people and offering them $100 to give information on you and your family members and they repo your vehicle after missing a day's payment well I'm going to end up missing a month payment because I got into a financial bind this month and they won't even defer a payment and I guess I'm going to have to hide my vehicle so they can't find it and then I'll make the payment up somehow
