On 3-21-23 I called Aspen Dental to schedule an appointment. I thought that it was a blessing, because they had an open appointment for around 1:30pm on that day. The Dentist came in maybe fifteen minutes or so, and asked how she could help me. I have a problem of grinding my teeth, especially during the night as I sleep, and had really worn my teeth down. I explained that to her, and expressed how I wanted to have that fixed. She mentioned that she had been to some kind of seminar recently, and had learned something about how to fix my problem. Some minutes later, she escorted me up to speak to someone in management. THEY REALLY KNOW HOW TO GET A PERSON EXCITED, and BUILD THEIR HOPES UP! I was told about ‘all’ of this work that I needed to have done to get this beautiful smile back. At first it totaled out to be about &17.000, but she was talking to the Dentist on some headphones, asking if this or that could be taken off the list. I didn’t know much of what was to be done, but some things like, some kind of toothbrush, and a few other things that I could purchase on my own, or, didn’t necessarily need to have done was taken off, and she got the bill down to $10,799.00. With a deduction of $1,575.00 (I don’t know what), and a deduction of 2,000.00 from my insurance, I was left owing 7,224.00 out of pocket. I explained to the manager, that I could not pay that kind of money because, I don’t work, and she contacted a credit company who approved me for up to $10,000.00. I paid the $224.00, which left me owing the $7,000.00. I was asked if I could pay a certain amount, which would have made me be able to pay the loan off in three years, but I couldn’t afford to, so I had agreed to a payment, which would have gotten it paid off in six years. After getting through with that, the Dentist took me back and checking my mouth a little more thoroughly, and after being there for four hours, I went home, with an appointment for 3-22-23. At that appointment, I had Periodontal maintenance done. After that appointment, I scheduled on 4-3-23 to have Composite 2 Surface Anterior, and several other things done. At an appointment on 4-7-23, I was to have a filling in one tooth, and a crown put on another one, but I had a wisdom tooth that I didn’t know that I still had, and was told that it needed to come out, so instead of having the other teeth done, I told her to go ahead and remove the wisdom tooth. Next, at an appointment on 4-12-23 the Dentist showed me a model of the work that she was going to do to fix my teeth, stating that I would have upper and lower, partials for the back where there were no teeth. She along with an assistant, she began to do the work, and afterwards I was somewhat satisfied. Two days later, I called to get in to see the Dentist because, I couldn’t chew my food on the right side of my mouth because of one of the teeth she had fixed, prevented me from being able to, and was able to get in an hour later. On 4-24-23, I was scheduled to go have the teeth filed, so that they would feel smooth like normal teeth, and when the Dentist began to numb my gums, an area of my mouth was so painful, I couldn’t stand for her to inject the needle. From the first time that I began going to Aspen Dental, the Dentist had been very kind and polite, but when I told her that I could still feel some roughness behind one of the teeth, she very rudely said, well you told me that it hurt when I tried to numb it!😔 I thought WOW, her attitude changed fast! When I first met her, she had had the audacity to to tell me to have faith, and trust her, because I was going to be very satisfied with the results of what she was going to do to give me a nice smile. I didn’t say it, but I thought: I don’t have faith in, and trust nobody but GOD! I had an appointment on 4-27-23 but, when I got there the doors were locked, and a sign saying that they would be back a 3pm, which was what time my appointment was for. At 3pm the Dentist, who was parked in a parking spot behind where I was parked, went the back along with some other workers who had just come back. There was another person waiting, and when they unlocked the door, we went in. I went to the reception desk and gave my name, the receptionist asked me if I knew what the Dentist was supposed to be doing for me, because the system was down and they didn’t have that information. I couldn’t remember at the moment, and after asking me again what I was supposed to have done, and me telling her that I didn’t know, she asked me to have a sit while she go back and talk to the Dentist. I could see, as she, the Dentist, and three or four other people went into a room, and shut the door. After ten minutes or more, she came back out and as for my name and number, that they would contact me when the system was back up, to reschedule my appointment. Then she called the other person up and asked him what he was to have done, and told him to come on back. I called for a whole week after that, trying to reschedule my appointment, but kept getting a recording that the system was down, but if you had an appointment, to come on to it. One morning, a few days later, I went to the office and the door was locked, so the next morning I called, and luckily, someone answered the phone. I told them about the appointment that I had had on 4-27-23, and they told me that their appointment scheduling was still down, to call back in a week. I’ve been calling, and calling, and still, no answer. I’m at a point, where I don’t know what to do!

Was not satisfied with the procedure that they performed on me, I was fooled by the commercials thought that I made a great decision but as it turns out it was the worst decision in my life! 😞 the procedure began back in August of 2021, they were supposed to be giving me dentures that are called semi permanent from my understanding the dentists puts implants that are like little teeth but they there to help provide stability for the semi permanent dentures, However; when they made the dentures, the dentures never looked realistic or even felt real, they just made me look like I had a mouthful of fake teeth and that is not what you should look like, it’s been a headache & heartache for me I’m depressed all the time I can’t eat my favorite foods I’m too embarrassed to go out sometimes all around I had a miserable experience! Need to know whom to I talk to to get my money back
Sincerely,
Angry client
