Dear sir: I talk to the manager on wednesday on the 25 about my engine light was on I need it fixed, I requested that my vacuum hose to be replaced with new one, and two radiators hose to be replace he quoted me 290 dollars, ok I said I will bring the chrysler town and country limited 3.3 v6. I said while you are replacing the radiator hose put in a new thermostat. They put also a gas cap that was causing my engine light to stay on. The problem is that I am a disabled veteran of the army and navy and they took advantage of me they charge me $647.82 dollars, the 290.00 was to cover the cost of the vacuum hose and radiators hose. The mechanic also work on another vehicle while he drain my radiator, it took 2.5 hours to drain the radiator then another hour to fill the radiator. I think I was scam out of money. They did not talk to me about the price for the labor and part cost of doing the job. I request that all review be allow to all disabled veteran that they do not use firestone complete auto care, including other civilians people. I will send a report to the disabled american veteran association to put out the words that firestone complete auto care are taking advantage of disabled people and other peoples, thank Earl F. Grant united state army and navy disable vet.. Ps the mechanic work on another vehicle while my radiators was draining can send copy of retail invoice later if it is requested thank earl grant. Hi,
i faced a very bad experience in Firestone branch, details as below:
- I went to the firestone branch to fix loud voices from the engine, and, they recommended some services that will fix the problem, and, invoiced me with 800$.
- Once I left I found the same loud voice from the engine as is even worse, so I returned the next morning to them, and they kept the car, then called me to take the car and back after one day.
- I visited them back for the third day, then, they kept the car for 2 days, then, they said they didn't know what the issue was, and recommended to visit a transmission shop.
They made me pay 800$ for another issue not related to my problem.
I was doing all my maintenance in this branch, the end of October I did all the recommended services by them, and, every time I inspect the car to be sure all fine, and, paid a lot for them, just the last two invoices more than 2000$, and, now my car in very bad condition!
