ON October 5th 2024 I requested a transmission flush from Copperhead Trail Firestone in Parker, CO., I was told a week before I was told that they would need to order the transmission oil. I left the truck there for the day and picked it up end of day October 5th. I paid for the services.
I drove the truck to fort collins later in the week and my engine light turned on and transmission was stuck on 9th gear. I then got back home and the next day the light was gone. Another 10 days or so I drove to fort collins again and light came on same thing.
I then took it to Castle Rock Ford and kept it for a month after diagnosing my transmission needed to be replaced. The diagnosis says the transmission oil was burnt? Why is it burnt if it just got flushed with new oil? This was over $10, 500.00 for this unexpected cost and 30 days in business without my truck.
I expect a phone call back to me within 48 hours or I will report this to BBB and Attorney General for Fraudulent Business Practices.
I need to make sense of this my truck is 2021 and only has 66,500 miles no way this should happen for just a service like this.
Claimed loss: over $10,500.00 Transmission replacedout a vehicle for over a month my truck is a work truck $2500.00 lost wages
Desired outcome: I like to get reimbursed for this inconvenience of the request above $13,000.00andrefund of my services from Copperhead Trail Firestone for $300.00 estimated amounts above

It’s rather alarming to know that your truck after the transmission flush faced some trouble with the transmission and had to be replaced. The burnt fluid brings up some serious concerns regarding the service provided. Firestone must be obliged for their actions more so if the binding fluid was replaced inappropriately. I would suggest writing to Firestone such concerns and facts so that you are able to file a complaint in a proper way. If you feel dissatisfied with their answer as I do not think you should be satisfied, I would file complaints with the Attorney General as you mentioned because the expenses and problems you had were considerable.
