ICE Rewards - Terrible customer service and resolving issues

My experience with ICE's customer support is nothing short of a customer service nightmare. The ordeal I endured when trying to resolve a booking issue. The litany of problems I faced, from the runaround to the delayed promises of resolution, paints a grim picture of ICE's commitment to customer satisfaction.

ICE's inability to address my concerns promptly and effectively is not only frustrating but also reflects a serious lack of competence within their support teams. When a company repeatedly pushes back the resolution timeline and hides behind vague promises of callbacks, it demonstrates a complete disregard for your time and patience.

The decision to place a hold on my account without prior warning or dialogue is inexcusable. This punitive action adds insult to injury, especially when I'm a loyal customer with current vacations booked and a spotless payment record. The inconsistency in their responses and the perpetual "call back in 24 to 72 hours" refrain from different representatives is indicative of a systemic issue within their customer support department.

Furthermore, attempting to shift blame onto me for a failed service that was clearly not my responsibility is a glaring example of ICE's unwillingness to accept accountability for their own mistakes. Offering points as a token gesture, while keeping me locked out of my account, is not a solution but a poor attempt at appeasement.

What's even more concerning is their reliance on a 3rd party for handling booking issues, effectively washing their hands of any responsibility when problems arise. This outsourcing of accountability is a breach of trust that leaves customers in a frustrating and helpless position.

my experience with ICE is a stark reminder of the importance of holding them accountable for their subpar customer service practices. This kind of treatment is simply unacceptable, and it's essential that consumers are made aware of these issues. ICE should take immediate action to revamp its customer support procedures and prioritize resolving issues in a more efficient and respectful manner.

Desired outcome: Take responsibility for the issue and remove the block on the account, maintain the points given and write off the loss. That 's what a real company would do.
