I will like to remain anonymous because I work at one of the village inn. I am reporting the issues at the Village Inn Surprise AZ. Address 14539 West Grand Ave zip code is 85374. Im a long time employe and i'm adressing the issues that they have and are not being taken care of. They have cleaning sheets that we have to checked offf but they are never used and are just hanging there without proper information. They never clean the walls in the kitchen and the walls next to the booth. The restaurant only cleans when someone important comes to visit. cooks are not using gloves and not washing hands every time they get done with the food. Improper beverage and food placements. Broken down equipment that barely gets fixed. Pipes below the restrauant are not working correctly so it lets out a foul smell in the restrauant. We have biased managers who let certain people do want they want and treat other workers unfairly. Workers treating each other unfairly and causing problems that are not getting resloved by the managers because of favoritism. Servers giving free food to their families and discounting food to their friends. Employes are not being team members and managers letting employes leave early. No fairness, consistency, and accuracy in the work enviroment. Health Department has been there multiple times and village inn is not taking the health department seriously. Other employes have left the the restaurant because of the situation that the other employees and managers have caused. Managers changed employees set schedules that they have without any notice. Managers distribuating unfairly hours among the employees. Food and beverage debri under the bevergae and food counters next to the wall. Managers letting workers do want they want. Managers are not taking control of the situation with employees who are causing problems with other employees. I watch two servers not tip the bussers that work there and the servers say that do not have to because they make minimum wage required by law. These issues haven been going on for a long time even before I started working there. Managers know one person that is higher up in the village inn corporate. This higher up doesn't give penalties because all they care about is this false image that they are showing to the people. When village inn corporate gives important emails that need to be sign by employees and managers. Not everyone signs these emails given by village inn corporate. There is one host that works at village inn and helps look out for the health department and uses a mic to tell the managers and the managers tell us to dump stuff out and throw stuff away in the trash before the health department walks in especially when a customer complains to the health department. I'm reporting these issues because these are getting out of control and nothing is being done. People have brought it up multiple times to management and higher ups but nothing is being corrected. Poor management. The more we bring it up the more unfairly we are treated and given unfairly punishments.
