On Tuesday January 8, 2019 at approximately 9am, at Store #1985 at Fort Lowell and Country Club in Tucson, AZ, l filled my tank with gas at Pump #4. After spending $30.01 and leaving the store my car started to jump and jerk, not wanting to pick up speed. Eventually it stopped altogether. I was on my way to work and had to leave it, get a way to work, call a tow truck and have it towed to the dealership. On Thursday, January 10, the service department called to let me know that the problem was contaminated gasoline and that would would cost me $1100.00 to get it my car fixed. My brother who was the one who took me to work and waited for the tow truck, called the store to talk to the manager and was told that he was in a meeting and he would call him back. They asked what this was about and when he told them they said that he was not the first to call, that another woman had called about the same thing. The manager never called back so my brother called back later and when he said why he was calling, he was told by this employee that he was the third person to call about this problem. I don't think that a $30.01 fill up should turn into a $1100.00 repair, due to an error on the stores fault, especially since I was not the only one to have this problem.
