In December 2019 or early January 2020 we picked out a Sectional at MOR in Bakersfield. We were told that it wasn't in stock and that they had to "order it". They told us it would be delivered February 12, 2020. At the time it was about 6 weeks out and we weren't thrilled about it but ok with it.
Fast forward to on or around February 9, 2020 we received notification that it was delayed until around February 25, 2020. They indicated that part of the order was in which was the sofa and corner section. We asked if the partial order could be delivered since we did not have any furniture to sit on as we had given away our furniture in anticipation of the February 12 delivery date. So they ultimately delivered the partial pieces. We were told that the loveseat would be in by March 8, 2020. I emailed once again to confirm that the piece was indeed being delivered. I was told in the email that it was pushed back out to April 18, 2020 that the delivery was coming from overseas. This is totally unacceptable and we have been super patient. Had we known this in the first place we would have chosen something else. I feel the employees (sales people) at MOR are not forthcoming. They lie to get a sale. What can we do to rectify this?
