The service representative Dan (Asian nationality-new employee) in your Brea location at 706 E Imperial Highway, Brea, Ca 92821. Did not perform his duties by properly checking my membership and responding to my questions about the open doors to the entrance of the facility. There is a construction site in the same parking lot (40 feet away) where the gym is located that is responsible more dirt, dust and insects transferring into the building. I have experienced many insect bites due to the doors left opened, which allows the bugs and insects to occupy the space. Also the doors are left open while the air condition is operating. I specifically has why the doors are left open and he informed me that the Manager Reed gave him instructions to leave it open. I have been a member for 3 years and find it difficult to attend the gym understand these circumstance. Can you confer with Dan and his Manager to rectify the problem and respond to my complaint. Desired outcome: Coach and counsel Dan to improve his attitude and customer service skill. Have the manager Reed notify me that these actions have been taken to ensure its members are treated with respect.
Fitness 19 - management avoiding me after personal trainer harassed me
My name is Hector Valle and I am informing you in writing that I cancel my membership at Fitness 19 Brea. I had was enjoying my membership until this week, when two employees at this branch caused me to re-evaluate this gym. It began with one employee spreading a rumor from a conversation she had overheard and then telling another employee incorrect information. This conversation was between me and two other members and one of these members made a comment about one of the trainers. The employee who overheard this conversation went to that particular trainer and told him I was talking about him. This was NOT true at all. For whatever reason, this employee felt the need to tell this trainer incorrect information rather than coming to me or the other members to ask for clarification. Had she done that, this event likely would never have happened.
What happened next is extremely upsetting. This trainer looked me up on social media and sent me a private messages with his number to call him and said he was told I had been talking "crap" about him. I called him back to explain this was NOT the case and told him what had been said. This trainer demanded I call the owners and talk to them and was going to tell me exactly what to say. I told this person I did nothing wrong and was not going to call the owners. This trainer then demanded multiple times to know when I would be coming in to work out next but I refused to tell him. He said we could finish talking about this or we could "throw it down." This is how I was treated at this facility and how employees treat members.. I called the owner that day, both at the gym and on his work phone, and again the next day. The owner still hasn't called back to speak about this serious matter I've been treated unfairly, avoided and harass. I wanted to end my membership the day I got threaten messages from my phone because I no longer feel comfortable at this gym and I do not want to bring my children there anymore. This is absolutely disgusting and I hope someone looks into this matter so that it wont happen again or to someone else in the future.
