I come in every night to this establishment and normally have a good visit. Tonight I go in like I do every night after I get off work at 2:00 AM and the employee as I walked in was talking very loudly on his phone and ignored my presence, I proceeded to come to the counter and ask for what I needed on top of buying my energy drinks for the next day. The gentleman seems to not know how to ring up things properly, and after he did finally figure it out, I asked him if he could add a bag onto my total and as well as putting my loyalty number in because I wanted the extra savings. The gentleman fumbles around and asked me if I want to put my Safeway card and I said no that extra mile loyalty number because he can’t scan each time I come in my phone he proceeded to get agitated out me, and all I wanted was to put my loyalty number in. I put my card in to pay and it kept saying error so he grabbed my card and swiped it and it eventually went through and charged me as I asked him again I had asked for a bag he says I won’t give you a bag you need to pay $.10 And I said to him I already asked you for a bag which is fine I’m OK with that. But the gentleman was very rude to me and after working a 13 hour shift that’s the last thing I need or want to deal with I told the gentleman I was not coming back because every time I come in he doesn’t know what he’s doing and he yelled something at me in his language, I come every day and spend approximately $200 a week on energy drinks and cigarettes and normally if anyone else is there it’s OK but tonight he was very rude and he needs to be reprimanded for how he treats his customers. I as well work in customer service, and would never speak to my customers or treat in the way that I was treated tonight. If I pull up and see him working, I will not be purchasing anything from this establishment again while he is working. This gentleman seem to need training on customer service as well as how to use the register and treat customers. My loyalty number is [protected]. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Robin Tackitt.
Desired outcome: Training of employee. This chevron is near my home and convenient for me with my late work hours. I just want to be treated better for all the business I bring to this establishment
