Hi, I went to the Olive Garden last night and I ordered bread sticks and Alfredo sauce. You know how you get the Alfredo sauce in the small paper bowls when you order it to go. The bowl is filled up almost to the top. I don't know if it is a measured amount or if they just fill it up almost to the top. My son and I were having dinner and the waitress brought out the Alfredo sauce in a bowl and I could see instantly there was barely any Alfredo sauce in the bowl. There wasn't enough sauce for one breadstick let alone for all the breadsticks that came with it. The waitress came back really quickly and asked if we wanted more Alfredo sauce. I figured she came back so fast because she knew there was very little sauce in the bowl. Well, I didn't touch the sauce. I waited until I was done eating and asked for a bowl to go for the Alfredo sauce. So, I scraped the Alfredo Sauce into the paper bowl and it was about 1/4 of an inch deep and I didn't touch the sauce before I put it in the paper bowl. I can't remember if the sauce was $5.75 or $5.25. That is a lot of money for Alfredo sauce where there is only enough for one breadstick. The reason that I am writing to you is that my son and I went to the Olive Garden, the same one-two weeks ago and it was the same thing. I just ignored it the first time and figured it was a mistake but then it happened again last night. Same thing, a different waitress. That is $10 for Alfredo Sauce for 2 breadsticks. It wasn't just a mistake or it wouldn't have happened twice. If you are paying $11.50 for breadsticks and Alfredo sauce you should at least get enough sauce for all the breadsticks that came with the sauce. When she brought the second bowl she didn't bring any more breadsticks. She didn't need to. My son got to eat about half his breadstick and I got to eat about half of mine and the first bowl was gone. I think you should be embarrassed. I was embarrassed for you. It isn't just the fact that it is so chincey; it is that you are so willing to rip off your customers.
Desired outcome: No one likes feeling like they are being ripped off. What do you think you should do about the situation? The action you take to remedy the situation will determine if I remain a customer of the Olive Garden or not.
