I visited your Popeyes Store #3599 on October 30, 2023 at apox 3:00pm.
I placed a large order thru the drive thru. As I was re-bagging a portion of the order, (mind you I had already asked them to bag separately) I noticed that there were only four shrimp included in my order. I had ordered two 8 piece shrimp orders. Since I had already pulled up to allow the car behind me to pick up their order, I parked and came in the store to have my order corrected.
Once in I informed the man who had given me my order what was wrong. He and another employee began talking in Spanish for about two or three minuets in front of me. After taking and checking my receipt they had someone prepare more shrimp for me. When they were done they gave me one order of 8 shrimp only, with two of them being extremely small. After reminding them I only had four shrimp originally and that I am still missing shrimp, the man looked at my order again, took the box that had the four shrimp and my chicken tenders and sent it back to the kitchen. Again they had another shrimp order made which I again had to wait for while all my other food is getting cold and my drinks were melting. The shrimp finally arrived but no chicken tenders. When I inquired about them, the man said I didn't pay for tenders. I insisted that I had and that he should check my receipt. He said he didn't have it, I looked in my purse to make sure I didn't take it back but it was not there. I told again that I had given him the receipt and for him to please try to locate it. He found it gave it to me but didn't check it for my tenders. Even though he gave me the order of tenders, he did it as if he was doing me a favor. I checked the receipt and showed him that I had in fact paid for the tenders. Everything about his interaction with me was nice/nasty and a bit accusatory.
This whole experience so exasperated me. It was not so much the little mistakes on my order as to how I was treated in trying to rectify them. The employees were so short and dismissive with me as if I had made the mistake. They were hardly apologetic at all and there was no offer to compensate me for all my wasted time and energy to get this done right. I've never been so aggravated just getting fast food.
I don't know what should be done, maybe some kind of empathy training.
At any rate I won't be visiting this Popeye's any time soon.
