I had doctors instructions to give blood for testing a week before my next doctor's appointment, but doctor did not give me the written order. When I came to the Quest Diagnostics in Mission Hills, nurse LIZET asked me to call my referring doctors office and ask them to fax the order, and once the order is in, she would call me right away without the need to stand in line. Fax came 1 minute later while I was still on the phone. I asked the other employee if that was the order with my name and got positive answer. I found nurse Lizet or Liza, letting her know the paperwork came. She acknowledged the receipt and left. People started coming, registering at the check in and coming in for blood draw. 40 minutes later I asked another employee if I should check in again and told them that my paperwork with all my information is sitting on the front desk and many people coming in reading it. Moreover, new patients without any wait coming in to draw blood. Front desk lady suggested me to check in again, by the time I checked in, Lizet or Liza is going out to lunch, slowly and surely she gets pass me and leaving out the door, I politely asked if she was going to call me in to draw blood ever again, she stated that the doctors orders have to come and then... 1 hour later I started pointing that I left the work for 15 minutes just to take that blood drawn, and I'm getting into a real problem by staying here for more than an hour and nothing was being done...
I did get in trouble at work, and I had my warning for being off work with hot deadline for unexplained amount of time. I had stressed out and my blood pressure raised, I could not continue to work in these conditions. The Friday was wasted and ruined + I got troubles at work. My question is: why such employees working at your company? Many great, honest, responsible people cannot get a job due to lack of vacancies and these vacancies are taken by absolutely unprofessional, unreliable, unhappy careless individuals who hate everything and everyone they see. Is that because your company is considered UnProfessional or because it is the rule at your company for all employees to be CAREless after employment was granted? I understand that most of your patients are retired and aged people, but what to do for people who work? How can you organize your places for quick and painless flow? You are supposed to help people to get health in better shape not all the way around. With the insurance premiums being so high, it appears that I'm paying for medical insurance to slowly die in medical facilities like yours. I'm very disappointed, very.
