AMC Theatres - Management, security, and staff

Accused of fraudulent ticket and being disrespectful by security and manager.

Location: AMC DINE-IN Ontario Mills 30

I arrived at the self-service kiosk at 7:52PM PST August 19 2023, I checked in with the ticket taker and security was standing behind her

I went in for a bit and went out briefly at 8:14PM. Security was still right behind the ticket checker because I saw him there while I was stepping out. I go back in at 8:20PM. From the time I originally went in and the second time I come back it's 22 minutes that have gone by. First enter: 7:52PM PST / Second enter 8:20PM PST)

At 8:20 I attempt to reenter establishment with tickets on hand, one that shows "Sales Summary" and the other which shows "survey". Upon showing the receipts to the ticket taker, she tells me they are not tickets. I tell her, "what do you mean these are not tickets? additionally, I came in here just 22 minutes ago, how can you not remember me?" I then ask security, "you are security, you remember me right?" which he says he does not remember me. Only 22 minutes had passed since they last saw me, additionally, I have tickets in my hand. I tell them"this isn't right and I was already here so Im going back to the auditorium."

Lets use our brains for a second. If someone came in just 22 minutes ago, and you are a "security" how did you already forget their face? What if police were looking for a suspect that had came in 20 minutes ago, would security not remember anything? Also, who would come in to a movie theater aclaim all this with tickets on hand that say "sales summary" and a bunch of other information and claim what i was claiming? Why was I not given decency and instead treated like I was someone who had apparently, created "fraudulent tickets and this was my mastermind attempt at sneaking into a $30 movie ticket?" Seriously, what the heck...

Anyway, I assume they are joking around since they do not attempt to validate the tickets I provided (in photo attachment) and as a customer that was already in there I felt that I was being disrespected. I go to the auditorium because I am confident I have done nothing wrong and have 100% evidence of my ticket. This is when the security follows me and tells me to leave because I am being "insulting". Yes, I did use some naughty words, but that was only after being treated like I was some sort of criminal. Who would not be upset by that?

Yet, I am the one being accused of having "fraudulent tickets or trespassing" and I am being told to leave, I refuse to leave and the security calls his manager. The manager also wanted to kick me out because he felt i had disrespected his employees. Once I help him understand the absurdity of the situation he finally deescalates, I have to then show evidence of where I purchased my tickets, which I would have been fine if they would have simply asked that from the beginning instead of claiming I didn't have valid tickets or receipts.

I was then allowed to go into the auditorium which is where someone else was sitting on my seat, but when I asked them to move they did, but was still more salt to the wound and shows how security there completely fails.

I will say the manager handled the situation decently but thats a very low bar of expectation being set and the situation was ridiculous since it was unnecessary.
