I have banked with arrowhead for over a year and have had no issues up until today. I walked into my local branch to withdraw $8,000 out of my $12, 000 available balance. I had recently had a few deposits from my business websites payment process resulting in 10k. I have been running my business for over a year and make deposits all of the time to my arrowhead account. Suddenly the teller is giving me a hard time and keeps asking to see proof of my transfers from my website to my payment processor to my bank account, I felt violated and immediately figured that they're assuming i'm trying to scam. Figured as a young black woman, you just can't have too much money these days. I'm standing at the teller window for over an hour and her and her manager e. Reyes keep going back and forth and asking me my business name and the nature of my business. Lol completely ridiculous. Finally they come back and tell me that I need to bring proof of my business a fbn or dba document. I stated I had my fbn and ein documents at home and the manager asked why I don't have them on me... Who carries those documents around? So I go to ask him what the issue is and he said they're freezing my account until I can bring in proof of my business because of a loan I received (not through arrowhead) two months ago, what does my loan have to do with me wanting to withdraw money from my account!? I went home and called in to the call center and submitted the docs via email. However my account is completely frozen for 48 hours, they logged me out of my online banking and I am without any of my money all because of discrimination. I have been completely violated and I will be doing everything in my power to make sure someone is reprimanded because of this.
