Oct 30, 2019 at 1:49 p.m. I was physically forced into there store. Demanding me to try there miracle eye cream for under eye bags and wrinkles. There persistent sales speech and demo gimmick had worked for them. I fell for it and bought the $435.00 product with my debit visa bank card. Once the salesman saw I was paying with a debit card he went into his high mode sales speech and proceeded to tell me that he would like to offer me something but not to tell anyone because he shouldn't be doing this. And "this" was complimentary facial treatments once a week for a month. He showed me this face machine mask and said he wanted me to try it out. He would be using it with these complimentary facial treatments. He convinced me that I would just be trying it out. He NEVER mentioned a no refund policy if anything he made it sound like I could return the machine any time if I wanted. I was not obligated. I believed him and bought the damn thing. However, I did not leave with it from the store because I didn't want to be obligated to this expensive machine not knowing much about it. When I got home I looked at the receipt and notice at the bottom of the page it read no refund exchange only within 7 days. I couldn't believe it so I called the store in which I could not get a live person so I emailed and kept calling. But after a day of this I was getting very nervous and called my bank to let them know what was going on. Finally a week later some woman calls me to come in and do a facial treatment. I than told her that I do not want any obligations to this machine and would like a refund that I felt I was tricked into buying something unlawfully. She assured me everything would be ok and that my salesperson would be calling me to clear it up. It was nice to hear that and was relieved for the time being that was until I finally received a call my salesperson another week later. He told me that I possibly would not get a return but that he liked me and would take it up with the owner of the store which we would have to wait another week for because he was in Europe. But he made it sound like everything would work out for me. Mean while I had a claim with my bank going and had received the money back. However the bank had an investigation going and the money could be taken from me again. And being that I used a debit card not a Visa card I was screwed. Well that's exactly what happened. The company took it back. And my salesperson finally got back to me after two weeks. He said his boss would not refund me but that he was getting a Christmas bonus and would give me about $1000.00 from his Christmas bonus. I couldn't believe it. I don't want to have anything to do with these low life's. I did not except and continued to disagree with this man about everything. I hung up the phone and noticed a text message came through. When I opened the text it was a recorded conversation that I had just had with my salesman. It was just a quick clip of our conversation. For one isn't it illegal to record someone on the phone without there consent in California. I'm pretty sure there are laws about that and for two what is he trying to do with this. Intimate me or scare me which is totally unethical for a business. Wtf. What is really going on here. Well that was the last time I will or want to speak to that weirdo. Now I'm left with writing complaints and getting channel 7 on your side.
However I'm thinking of a lawsuit for sure. Actually in the makings right now. I would be happy fir a class action suit. đź‘Ťđź‘ŤHow do we proceed with this. Someone tell me and I will do what it takes to get the process started. I am beyond upset. I am a single parent with a very sick handicapped child. I don't need this nor have time for such disheartening uncaring people. This has put a major hardship on my child and I so much that it has effected my living situation and possibility of becoming homeless as of next month.
Thanks for listening and good luck to all. There will be a good out come in the end because I won't stop until there is.
I forgot to mention how much this company got me for it was $6, 000.00. Yup that’s right that complimentary facial treatment machine mask cost about $6000.00. And get this I don’t even have it. That’s right folks they have $6000.00 of my money and they have the face machine. Great deal for them right? Why I never had it never even held the damn thing. Unbelievable right? It’s hard for me to even believe still. These ppl have caused so many problems for me you have no idea.
