On Sept 11 I booked a room thru hotels.com for the super 8 in Vacaville. After hotels.com put me on hold to verify they would allow service animals I was told that they did allow them with a $100 deposit. I went ahead and booked the room for my daughter and myse of, my daughter who needs the service dog due to epileptic seizures. On Friday the 13 th of Sept when the reservation was for, I got to the hotels and was very rudely told that they allowed no dogs. All this after going ahead and charging the $100 deposit on my credit card. I explained the situation and she was abrupt and rude and told me she couldn't give me the deposit back until her manager arrived. Approximately an hour later, after being told he was on his way, he finally showed up. He basically called me a liar because no one would have told hotels.com it was ok to have a dog. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. Why would I drive down to a hotel from Sacramento with my daughter and her service dog if I wasn't told it was ok. I will NEVERF stay at a super 8 anywhere in the world again. Thankfully we found a hotel, a much nicer one who accepted service animals free of charge and my daughter didn't have any health implications due to this. Horrible experience, horrible hotel and chain of hotels. Never again
