7-Eleven - Discrimination

I got back from the gym tonight at 4:45 AM, stopped by the local 7/11 to purchase a lotto ticket, and this guy working there already was looking at me in the rudest way, as I approached the counter he immediately rolled his eyes, and walked over slowly like I was taking up his precious time or something, I asked him if I can purchase a lotto ticket, and he looked at me without saying anything like I was stupid or something, I repeated myself again, "Can I purchase a lottery ticket please?" Then he just looked at me with the smuggest expression on his face like I wasn't worth his time, and replied, I'm sorry? In a mocking manner, I became a little agitated and repeated myself again. "Can I purchase a lottery ticket please?" He then paused for about 5 or 6 seconds just staring at me smiling the entire time, and replied, "no, lotto, " so I was like, "umm ok? why not?" He told me to come back at 6AM and I was really annoyed because its obvious he was pulling my leg, and I asked him for his name (wasn't wearing his name tag, shirt untucked, his huge gut was hanging out of his uniform, and he had the most pungent odor, he practically reeked of curry and body odor) He said his name was Rajt, I asked him to spell it out for me and write it down so I could tell his manager tomorrow, he didn't care or take it seriously, (7/11 is a franchise, so his brother or uncle probably owns the store anyways)...

He just stood there smiling at me like I was stupid, and gestured to talk into his ear, I told him, "Dude... I'm not getting close to that thing, you smell of really disgusting b/o, I don't know where you've been, or what you've been doing, there's no way I'm getting near you! Just write it down and I'll be on my way!" Then he just takes out a paper and pen, and throws it on the counter, and told me to write it out, I had enough, and was like fine, whatever... he spelled it out (took him like 2 minutes to both recite his name, and for me to understand him through his thick accent) I told him, "Look I know this is probably a family business, and you probably won't get in any trouble which is why you're acting so rude to me, but I did not do anything to deserve this, I was respectful of you when I came in, you on the other hand have your shirt untucked, no nametag, you smell really bad, and on top of all that your freaking gut is hanging out for God sakes! You need to be more professional when you come to work, this is not the way I think you need to represent your family's business..." As I was telling him this he looked at me jokingly, and lifted his arms to smell his armpits one by one, so I told him, "You know what... I don;t care anymore, whatever problems you're having with your life, don't take it out on me, you areby far the worst employee I have ever dealt with!" I took his pen that he made me write his name down with and tried to hand it to him, but he just leaned back on the counter with his arms crossed looking at me still smiling, so I got fed up, and sank to his level... I tossed the pen towards him on the floor behind the counter and walked off.

OK since no one has posted I will.

The clerk was telling the truth. the lotto machine shuts off around 1 or 2 am and you cannot sign back on till 6am
this is the California lottery's system and 7-11 has no control of it. it automatically shuts down around 1am or 2am at the latest
