A decision was made by corporate to keep the Patient Service Center open for lunch as of July 1, 2022. This has made it virtually impossible for the staff to take a break let alone a lunch. They are over worked, under paid and exhausted.
The phlebotomists were given a pittance of a raise on top of taking on more work. They are understaffed to say the least! When trying to get answers from their supervisors, the answer is pretty much: "Do your best". No, thank you, no incentive.
A few employees have sent a complaint to the Department of Labor for better working conditions and better pay. These employees need to be felt their worth.
Desired outcome: Close the Patient Services Centers back for lunch to give the employees an attempt at a full lunch and better raises are expected.
