Aspen Dental - Denture realignment

I made an appointment to get my dentures re-aligned, I briefly saw a dentist who checked my gums and started a sales pitch about getting implants. I told her that I wasn't interested and just needed my dentures taken care of. They told me it would cost $ 800.00. $400.00 up front and the rest after the re-align was done. When I went back to see how they fit, they weren't quite right and they made a few adjustments and told me to come back in a week to see how I was doing. During the week they were still loose when I went back for a furture adjustment. They tried a couple more times without any luck. They brought in a different dentist for his opinion and he said that my dentures could not be adjusted because they were over 4 years old. My complaint is why didn't they tell me that they couldn't be adjusted during my initial visit! I'm out $800.00 dollars for nothing! I spoke to the "finance" person about a refund or credit and all she did was try to sell me new dentures. She said office manager would call me. 5 days later, no response. I called and lest messages, no reponse. I feel like the rippes me off

Aspen Dental - Dentures

My 84 year old father Norman Gould had moved to CT in 2021 and he had already gotten dentures in FL where he was from. He had nothing but issues since he got them and continued for over the next couple of years to see what they could do to get them to fit better and they said due to bone loss with his weight loss and age it wasn't reassuring they could do much more. Well he couldn't take it much longer so when he moved with us in CT we thought we would go to Aspen Dental for a 2nd opinion. We explained the situation and what he was going through and they said they would take out his last 2 remaining teeth on the bottom and get him new dentures and they said they would make sure that everything was right and they'd make him happy and where he would be able to eat normal again! We started the process in February 2022. Now mind you they took many xrays and started the procedures February 9, 2022. He had a very hard time with the removal of his last 2 teeth and we were not made aware it could take weeks for the pain to subside and he'd be able to eat nothing but soft pureed as he was in so much pain, he is a type 2 diabetic and this was not working in his favor! Long story short the new dentures that Aspen gave my Dad do not fit, just like the older pair he got in FL. He is paying $2,052 on a very limited income and we are SO DISATISFIED. I called them several times and then reached out to a district Manager and explained the situation, they had him come in for an adjustment, now they are saying with the loss of bone structure and such it would be another $10,000 to get this fixed by other procedures. We will not be going that route as he does not have it. We stopped calling to have him checked because he will not pay another penny as they said then cost start coming into play! What I am going to do is report them to the BBB! I told them they had done all these xrays that would have shown them that he has this bone loss and they still said they would make things better and right an they have not! I will complain on every forum I can about this place if it is not rectified so my father can eat and drink without his bottom dentures coming out! I feel they scammed him and should never have done new dentures as it is the same outcome and now he has had to pay twice for dentures. He is on a payment plan and I am very close to stop payments.
