My name is Robert Dolan. I was at Webster Bank at 2 PM on August 1st and had an awful experience with Webster Bank Manager Jason Taylor. I was at the window attempting to cash my paycheck for $6168.84. I filled out a deposit slip for $4,740.84 to deposit into my checking and wanted to receive $1428 back in cash. I was well aware of a 24 hour hold on the check. However I had a balance of $2,715.62 in the account therefore allowing me to get $1428 back. The bank teller said I couldn't do it this way and took my bank slip and started changing my numbers and then also filled out a second slip because of the hold on the check. I told her she was wasting my time and asked for the bank manager. It was at this time that Jason Taylor walked over and tried to help. He told me the problem was the new Banking system that Webster was implementing. I told him Webster Bank has caused me multiple issues with this change. He didn't seem to care about my issues and started to become agitated with me. I told him as a long time Webster customer I didn't appreciate his attitude. He then told me if I didn't like it I could do my banking at another Bank. I thought he was rude and unprofessional. As a loyal Webster customer I should have never been treated in such a way.
